After the class, An Ran didn't understand a word and even felt a little sleepy.

A class lasts one hour, and there is a quarter of an hour for a break at the end.

An Ran sat in her seat in a daze. On the rice paper was a little bird that she had drawn when she was bored.

As her thoughts drifted, a shadow blocked the light. An Ran looked up at her and asked, "What's the matter?"

A lady about her age looked at her, "What's your name?"

Seeing An Ran not saying anything and playing with something in her hand, the young lady said angrily, "Hey, are you mute?"

An Ran still ignored her, and the people around her started to make a noise, "Miss Wan, she clearly doesn't take you seriously. No one in the Imperial Academy dares to treat you like this."

Others next to them began to agree, and the girl named Miss Wan had a flash of resentment on her face, and raised her hand to slap An Ran.

The people around seemed to be gloating and looking forward to An Ran being beaten.

However, what they imagined did not happen. An Ran just patted the table lightly, and a force pushed Miss Wan down.

"Miss Wan, are you okay?"

Miss Wan stood up, "You... you actually dared to do something, I will fight you."

It was just break time and the teacher came in to stop the farce.

Anran was bored to death while studying. She had never liked reading since she was a child and would feel sleepy when she saw the words. She waited until mealtime when the teacher finally called for dinner.

When she stood up and walked away, she was stopped by a few young ladies who were causing trouble for her. “Stop, you just hurt Miss Wan and you want to run away. Who gave you the courage?”

The other girls in the classroom had left early, fearing to offend that group of girls.

"What do you want to do?"

An Ran remembered her brother's promise to eat together in the morning. She was a little impatient.

"What? Of course you have to apologize to Miss Wan. So, kneel down and kowtow to Miss Wan and we will let you go."

An Ran then looked at those people straight in the eye, and smiled contemptuously, "You are worthy of it?"

Miss Wan was provoked by her sarcastic smile and said, "Su Anran, you are so outrageous!"

An Ran knew that these people knew her identity and were looking for trouble on the first day. It seemed that there would be trouble in the future.

An Ran smiled proudly, "I am just being unbridled, what can you do to me?"

Several people were ready to teach her a lesson, but were interrupted by a cold voice at the door.

"An Ran is gone."

An Ran became obedient again and ran over in small steps, "Brother, let's go eat."

Leaving a few other people standing there with different looks on their faces.

One of the baby-faced girls broke the silence, "That's the son of Lord Su. He's so handsome."

Several other people responded, "Yeah, much prettier than his sister."

If An Ran were here, she would definitely ask, "Are you blind?"

Miss Wan's eyes were filled with dark clouds, but soon returned to normal, "Let's go, let's go eat."

When they went there, they saw the two people again in the cafeteria. Two people with similar faces were talking and laughing while eating.

Miss Wan snorted and ran away. An Zhi picked up some food for her and asked, "What's going on?"

An Ran didn't want to trouble her brother with such a small matter, so she shook her head and said, "It's okay."

An Zhi was eating when he suddenly said, "Don't fight."

An Ran nodded obediently, "I know, how could I fight when I'm so gentle?"

An Zhi gave her a look, and An Ran looked back without any guilt, with a look of being a good girl all over her face.

The two finished their meal in front of others, and stood up again in front of others. "Let's go. I'll take you home."
