## Konoha##

On the busy streets of Konoha Village, three girls walked leisurely, carrying shopping bags in their hands.

"That's really interesting," Ino said.

Sakura responded:

"Yeah, we haven't really played together since the Chunin Exams. Sasuke-kun and the Inuzuka were both busy today, so I'm glad we had this chance."

Tiantian sighed:

"Our class is full of weirdos. Kai-sensei and Lee are always yelling 'the flame of youth', I really think they could be father and son. At least we have Neji-kun."

"Ningji-kun, is that so?" Ino teased.

Tiantian blushed and stammered:

"W…w…what?"

Sakura also joined in the teasing:

"You like Neji, admit it!"

Tiantian crossed his arms and whispered:

"Well...I like him."

Ino said excitedly:

"And more!"

Tiantian explained:

"Well... he's very cute and strong. I've had a crush on him since entering the school, but he was always very distant. But since the Chunin Exams, he's become much better. I don't know... I just want to be with him."

Then Ino said:

"I didn't expect Naruto and Hinata to be together."

Sakura nodded and said:

"They hid their relationship. He kept pestering me for dates and all that was just a lie." She sighed.

Ino asked in disbelief:

"Don't tell me you're going after Naruto now?"

Sakura immediately said:

"No…I am loyal to my Sasuke-kun."

"I still can't believe that Naruto has the bloodline of the two most powerful families in the world," Ino shook her head. "Now his grandmother has been appointed as the fifth Hokage,"

"Grandma?" Tiantian asked.

"Don't you know?" Ino asked in surprise. Tenten shook her head.

"He is the grandson of Senju Tsunade," Ino explained and Tenten screamed.

"Really?" Tiantian's eyes were twinkling with stars.

"Uh…yeah. What's the big deal?"

Tiantian scratched his head in shame:

"It's just... Lady Tsunade is my idol. I want to be as strong as her."

Sakura suggested:

"Maybe you could ask Naruto to introduce you to her."

"I will definitely ask him when they come back!" Tiantian said happily.

"How about we go to the hot springs?" Ino asked.

"I agree, let's go!" said Sakura.

They all walked towards the hot spring.

Luckily, Jiraiya was out of town and wouldn't spy on them.

##Konoha Village North Gate##

Five figures were walking in the forest outside of Konoha Village.

Naruto now proudly displayed his new necklace.

This necklace once belonged to Hashirama Senju and now belongs to Naruto. It is said to be worth three mountains of gold.

They reached the gate.

"Jiraiya, Senju Naruto and Hyuga Hinata have returned from their mission, bringing with them Senju Tsunade and Kato Shizune," Jiraiya reported, waking up the dozing guards.

"And Pig Pig," Jiraiya added.

"It's nice to see you again, Lady Tsunade," the guard said.

Tsunade hasn't returned to Konoha Village for fifteen years.

"Feels good to be back," Tsunade replied, and they continued walking into the village.

"I have to go to the Hokage building," Tsunade said.

"Okay, see you later, grandma," Naruto said and was about to leave, but was stopped by Tsunade:

"where are you going?"

"Go home," Naruto answered bluntly.

"No you're not," Tsunade said, crossing her arms.

"I'm not?" Naruto asked confused.

"You will be living with me in the Senju clan's compound," Tsunade said and Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"Wasn't the Senju family's courtyard destroyed during the Nine-Tails attack?" Naruto asked doubtfully.

"It's my fault." Kyuubi answered casually, and Naruto sweatdropped.

"Yes, but everything has been rebuilt," the Hokage said as he approached them, a pipe between his lips.

"Tsunade, it's nice to see you again," the Hokage said, hugging Tsunade.

"Sensei, long time no see," Tsunade responded, then grabbed the Hokage by the collar, "but you have a lot to explain."

"What are you talking about?" the Hokage asked confused.

"You wrote me a letter saying that Naruto didn't survive the attack," Tsunade explained and the Hokage sighed.

"I haven't written that kind of letter. I've been looking for you and asked Jiraiya to try to contact you," the Hokage explained, and Tsunade was skeptical.

"Then how do you explain this letter?" Tsunade demanded.

"Obviously it's fake. Do you still have the letter?" the Hokage asked and Tsunade shook her head.

"Then it will be hard for us to find the person behind this," the Hokage sighed.

"It doesn't matter anymore," Naruto interrupted, "I have her now, and that's what matters." The Hokage relaxed.

"You haven't answered your question yet about whether you want to live with me in the Senju compound," Tsunade asked.

"I have one condition," Naruto said and Tsunade nodded for him to continue, "Hinata has to live with us too."

"Of course you can, but you're still too young to have children," Tsunade reminded them, causing them to blush.

"Naruto, come to the council meeting later," the Hokage explained, and Naruto turned pale.

"Okay, let's finish it quickly," Naruto responded, and then said to Hinata, "You go home and clean up first, and I'll come to you when I'm done, okay?"

"Um...see you later," Hinata replied, kissing his cheek.

"ANBU," the Hokage called out, and an ANBU dropped from the ceiling and knelt before him. "Call the council," the Hokage ordered, and the ANBU disappeared.

## Parliamentary Meetings ##

Half an hour later, all the clan leaders gathered in the council.

"We are here today to formally introduce my successor," the Hokage announced, "I appoint Senju Tsunade as the fifth Hokage."

"I, Aburame Shiwei, head of the Aburame family, support this decision."

"I, Hyuga Hiashi, the head of the Hyuga family, support this decision."

"I, Nara Shikaku, head of the Nara family, support this decision."

"I, Yamanaka Inoichi, the head of the Yamanaka family, support this decision."

"I, Akimichi Chojo, the patriarch of the Akimichi family, support this decision."

"I, Uchiha Sasuke, head of the Uchiha clan, support this decision."

"I, Senju Naruto, the head of the Senju family, support this decision," Naruto gave his grandmother a thumbs up.

"I, Mitokado Homura, personal advisor, support this decision."

"I, Utatane Koharu, personal advisor, support this decision."

"I, Danzo, personal advisor, object to this decision," Danzo said, but no one paid any attention to him.
