Naruto: We are invincible

"Hey, Shikamaru," Hinata woke up the napping Shikamaru, "Do you have any plans for Naruto?"

Shikamaru lazily opened one eye:

"Oh, of course," he waved his hand nonchalantly, but with a hint of cunning in his tone, "I plan to get rid of him in the first minute of the game."

Hinata couldn't help but laugh:

"I bet you can't."

"You don't have confidence in my abilities?" Shikamaru raised his eyebrows.

"No, you misunderstood," Hinata said with a smile, "I have great confidence in your abilities, but...your determination and commitment are another matter."

Shikamaru smiled and didn't refute. He just closed his eyes and yawned.

"What about you, Naruto?" Hinata turned to Naruto, who was watching them both with interest.

"Who knows what that lazy bastard is thinking." Naruto shrugged.

"Naruto, Shikamaru, please come on stage!" Killer Bee's voice came from the arena.

"It's time to show my real skills." Shikamaru muttered, stood up and stretched.

## Arena ##

"Konoha Village, Uzumaki Naruto versus Nara Shikamaru. Are you two ready?" Killer Bee asked, and both of them nodded.

"start!"

Just as Naruto was about to take action, Shikamaru suddenly raised his hand and made a "pause" gesture.

"What's wrong?" Naruto asked confused.

"Can I ask a question first?" Shikamaru asked.

"What? Uh... okay." Although Naruto didn't understand what he wanted to do, he agreed.

"Suppose," Shikamaru paused, "if I used the seduction technique on Hinata, you wouldn't faint, right?"

"...Of course not!" Naruto said loudly, his tone full of doubt.

"Okay, I give up then," Shikamaru said, turning and walking out of the arena.

"Okay..." Killer Bee said helplessly, "Winner: Konoha Village, Uzumaki Naruto."

## Auditorium ##

"It's like this again..." Hinata shook her head helplessly, feeling both angry and amused, "He used this trick during the Chunin Exam."

"I'm back." Shikamaru's voice came from behind.

"Didn't I say you? I said..." Hinata suddenly reacted and looked at Shikamaru in surprise, "You really dealt with him within a minute?"

"I mean what I say." Shikamaru said, sitting back in his seat, closing his eyes, and preparing to go back to sleep.

"Please let Hinata Hyuga come on stage!" Killer Bee's voice sounded again.

"It's finally about to begin," the Raikage said excitedly, leaning forward slightly and staring intently at the arena.

"This is no ordinary match," Jiraiya said meaningfully.

"Hmm?" The Raikage looked at him in confusion. Jiraiya seemed to be lost in his memories and did not notice his gaze.

"The final round of this Chunin Exam," Killer Bee's voice echoed in the silent arena, "begins now!"

Naruto and Hinata stood face to face, motionless.

"Our first battle as a couple," Naruto said with a smile.

Hinata laughed as well, but quickly regained her composure.

"Do you remember?" she asked softly, her voice almost inaudible.

Naruto was stunned for a moment, and an image appeared in his mind.

"I promise Princess Hinata that one day, I will personally remove the caged bird seal from you. I promise that I will always protect you, and together we will prove to everyone that even an abandoned loser can create miracles!"

"You still remember..." Hinata said with tears in her eyes and a smile.

"I never lie, I do what I say." Naruto said seriously.

"I always believed that we were equal. I have been trying hard to catch up with you, to be as brave as you, and as strong as you. But, a year ago, I gave up." Hinata's voice became low when she said this.

"Why?" Naruto asked confused.

"When you opened the Rinnegan, I knew that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't catch up with you." Hinata said.

Naruto opened his mouth and wanted to say something, but was stopped by Hinata.

"And... I'm already very satisfied." Hinata smiled gently and said, "I've been pushing myself, thinking that if my strength is not as good as yours, the people in the village will only regard me as Hyuga Hinata, the girl abandoned by the main family. But I was wrong. Even if I can never surpass you, they will recognize me, recognize my strength as Hyuga Hinata, as a taijutsu master, a Byakugan user, and a medical ninja. I finally understand that the village, and even the whole world, has recognized me. The only thing I want to do now is to make you proud of me."

Naruto stared at Hinata blankly, unable to say a word.

"Are you ready?" Hinata asked, getting into a fighting stance.

"I have always been proud of you." Naruto said silently in his heart.

The next second, he turned into a bolt of lightning and rushed towards Hinata.

The two fists collided with each other, making a deafening roar and raising dust.

## Auditorium ##

"Okay, I'm leaving." Shikamaru said, standing up and preparing to leave.

"Aren't you going to watch the game?" Tiantian asked.

She has regained consciousness and, with the permission of medical staff, returned to the audience.

"No more watching." Shikamaru shook his head.

"why?"

"for safety."

"What?" Tiantian looked at him in confusion.

"She's getting serious, and I don't want to lose my life here," Shikamaru explained.

"But we..." Tiantian wanted to say something else, but suddenly, the entire auditorium shook violently, and she had to hold on to the armrests of the seat tightly to avoid falling.
