Naruto: We are invincible

"This place is really eerie." Naruto couldn't help but shudder.

"Are you scared?" Hinata joked.

"Of course," Naruto said sarcastically, "This is from a guy who once released a whole giant spider that was hit by a water dragon bullet in our room."

Naruto said expressionlessly, and Hinata couldn't help but laugh out loud when she heard it.

"They are just some poor little bugs. Besides, that trick is very effective, isn't it?" Hinata asked, and Naruto just shook his head helplessly.

Suddenly, Naruto turned around and threw a kunai to the left. The kunai flew through the air so fast that one could almost hear the whistling sound it made as it cut through the air.

boom!

Naruto looked around and found his target.

It was a black beast with eight eyes, eight legs, and its body was covered with black hair.

It was a giant black spider, each leg three metres long, with venom dripping from its fangs.

A kunai was buried deep in its skull, between its many black, pupilless eyes.

"Are you scared?" Naruto joked. Hinata just smiled and shook her head.

"What did I tell you before?" Naruto said as he turned and pointed at the spider and said to Hinata, "This place is so weird." Hinata just shrugged.

"Can you find the location of the tower?" Sai asked.

Hinata nodded, then sat down and crossed her legs. Her chakra glowed, and the veins on her face bulged slightly. She concentrated and expanded the search range of her Byakugan.

She saw behind the trees, into the barrier of thorns and rocks, into the river that divided the forest and stretched to its edge.

"There are hundreds of them here." Hinata gasped. She used her Byakugan to see a group of nearly ten giant spiders tearing apart the bodies of other animals. "And snakes of similar size."

"That's great," Naruto said sarcastically.

"Why don't you just burn them all with Fire Release Technique?" The Nine-Tailed Fox suggested. Naruto couldn't help but laugh when he heard his suggestion.

"I could, but I doubt the Raikage would be pleased." Naruto replied.

"Found it!" Hinata interrupted their conversation. "The tower is about ten kilometers to the southeast. I also found several teams. They are setting traps to ambush other teams. Two of the teams have already obtained the flag."

"Which team is closest to the tower and has the flag?" Naruto asked. Hinata stretched out her arm and pointed in a direction. "Lead the way." Naruto said. Hinata nodded and ran forward first.

Less than half an hour later, Hinata signaled everyone to stop. Naruto activated his Sharingan and could see three chakra signals half a kilometer away. "What's the plan?" Sai asked, hiding behind a tree and observing the team from the Hidden Cloud Village.

"We need to trigger their trap." Naruto grinned and formed a 'T' seal with his hands.

"Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Three shadow clones appeared beside Naruto.

Two of them were wrapped in smoke and turned into Sai and Hinata.

Needless to say, this team of shadow clones swaggered forward, as if they were completely unaware of the trap ahead.

"Enemy attack!" A ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village shouted loudly, and his teammates immediately took action. "Damn... It's a ninja from Konoha Village!" The Hidden Cloud Village ninja shouted while taking out the kunai in his hand and throwing it at Naruto's team.

Hinata raised her right arm and pushed it forward, releasing a compressed ball of wind that deflected all the kunai.

"Lightning Style: Iron Sand Flow!" The hands of a ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village began to flash, surrounded by a blue halo.

Dozens of lightning balls were flying towards Naruto's team.

Naruto picked up the iron fan behind him and released a gust of wind, which neutralized the lightning attack of the ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village.

"Damn it!" the Hidden Cloud Village ninja cursed.

The ninjas of the Hidden Cloud Village drew their ninja swords and rushed towards Naruto, Hinata and Sai, ready to engage in a head-on confrontation with them.

Just as they were getting closer and the battle was about to break out, Naruto grinned and the shadow clone disappeared with a bang, leaving only a cloud of white smoke.

"Where are they?" asked a ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village.

"I..." Before the ninja could answer, he fell to the ground with a dull thud.

"What are you doing..." Another of his teammates also fell down, and the last ninja from the Hidden Cloud Village faced the three ninjas from the Konoha Village alone.

Before he had time to think, he felt a sharp pain on the back of his neck, then his vision went dark and he lost consciousness.

After the smoke cleared, Naruto, Hinata and Sai jumped onto the open space.

"Well done," Naruto said. Hinata thanked him and put away her favorite poison needle. She was down to three poison needles, and now they were stuck in the back of the necks of the three Kumogakure ninjas, one each.

"We got the flag." Naruto said as he picked up the flag on the ground. Now they had two flags. "Hinata, find a place to rest. We will continue tomorrow." Hinata nodded and scanned the surrounding area with her Byakugan.

Clang!

Naruto heard a slight metallic clang and turned around in time to see Sai with his short sword drawn. He was wondering what Sai was going to do when he saw Sai walking towards the three unconscious Kumogakure ninjas and raising the short sword in his hand.

Snapped!

Sai's eyes were blurry. He was about to kill the three Kumogakure ninjas, but Naruto grabbed his wrist tightly. "What are you doing?" Naruto narrowed his eyes and asked coldly.

"Destroy the hostile team." Sai answered briefly, still holding the dagger tightly in his hand.

"Why did you kill them?" Naruto asked, "They were already unconscious and we got their flag."

"The Hidden Cloud Village and the Hidden Leaf Village are not allies. The exam rules allow us to act freely in battle, so there will be no consequences for doing so. They are hostile ninjas and will pose a threat to the Hidden Leaf Village one day." Sai answered calmly, looking directly at Naruto.

"This is just a game, there's no need to get anyone killed, put your weapons down." Naruto said.

"Then I'll let them die quickly." Sai retorted. Naruto resisted the urge to cover his face.

"There's no need to take their lives." Naruto said sternly, but Sai didn't seem to back down.
