HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 74 Black’s Old Mansion

Cygnus blinked her curious eyes and looked at Sirius. "Uncle, how did you escape from Azkaban? Besides, there was no mention of your escape in the Daily Prophet."

Sirius smiled slightly and raised his eyebrows proudly: “I used magic to copy a puppet and let it stay in the cell to replace me. It will not be discovered for the time being.

This way, I will have time to find out the truth and prove my innocence."

Segnus knew that although it was important to clear Sirius's name, she had more important things to accomplish at this critical moment.

For example, if we first get Voldemort's other Horcruxes, the first one would be Slytherin's pendant.

Segnus could always see objects shining with evil magic. Before her eyes, a dark red line woven from magic appeared, representing Voldemort's Horcrux. It unfolded in front of her like a winding poisonous snake, extending forward, as if pointing directly to somewhere.

After saying goodbye to Sirius, Cygnus walked along the magical path, which extended all the way to Number 12 Grimmauld Place.

Cygnus stood at Grimmauld Place, and seeing the houses numbered 11 and 13 closely connected, she couldn't help but smile.

As we approached the old Black house, the building hidden between numbers 11 and 13 slowly revealed its true appearance.

The stone walls have gone through the vicissitudes of time and appear old and mottled. The broken windows are like some dark eyes, revealing a hint of eerie atmosphere.

Cygnus took a deep breath and decisively pushed open the heavy door of the Black mansion.

The door hinges made a slight creaking sound, as if telling the long history of this old house.

What came into view was a portrait, and her eyes instantly locked on the familiar face - it was Walburga Black.

Segnus' voice gently rippled in the quiet room: "Grandma"

Cygnus stood there, and Walburga's gaze in the portrait seemed to penetrate the canvas, sharp and frantic, locking onto her figure.

As their eyes made contact, those gray-blue eyes and platinum-blond hair shone as the only light in the dim room.

Walburga's eyes wandered, as if searching for fragments of memory, and then she suddenly spoke, her voice trembling with an imperceptible tremor: "Sissi's daughter?"

"Yes, I am Cygnus Malfoy, daughter of Narcissa Black."

Cygnus replied, and the portrait of Great-Aunt Walburga seemed to find some comfort in this statement and sighed in relief.

"Oh, thank God, someone is here."

Walburga in the portrait said, "This old house has been abandoned for a long time. The glory of the Black family is long gone. Now all that is left are these empty rooms."

"To be honest, I also saw my uncle."

The picture shook suddenly, and Walburga's portrait seemed to be sucked into a gust of wind. Her eyes almost jumped out of the frame. The voice was so piercing that it made people's heart beat faster: "Who did you say you met?"

"Sirius Black." Cygnus replied calmly, with a barely perceptible smile on his lips.

The name was like a spark thrown into the wasteland of Walburga's heart.

Her portrait instantly became distorted, and the colors became more intense because of anger.

Waving imaginary arms as if trying to grab something, the voice was so sharp that it almost cut through the air:

"No! He is not worthy of being your uncle! The Black family has already kicked him out! He is a stain on our family and our eternal shame!"

Walburga's portrait trembled slightly in the waves of anger. In the painting, she was stomping hard on the ground, and the fire in her eyes almost jumped out.

"If you are of Black's blood, you should remember this deeply. The honor of the Black family is above all else," her voice was as cold as the wind on a winter night.

"That rebellious son, he chose to betray us, and has nothing to do with us from now on!"
