HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 63: Letter from Voldemort

Cygnus took Draco's hand and stepped into the silent hall of Malfoy Manor.

It was a rare deserted place with only faint sounds echoing in the air.

"We're home, Draco." Her voice was gentle but a little tired.

At this time, Dobby the elf was busy in the kitchen preparing dinner for them, and the crisp sound of the spatula hitting the bottom of the pot could be heard one after another.

The other elves were not idle either, shuttling between the rooms, their busy figures reflected in the afterglow of the setting sun.

"Dobby, where are mom and dad?" Draco followed Dobby's eyes, like a curious baby, wanting to know where his dear parents had gone.

Dobby gently tugged at his neat little suit, and the black bow tie looked particularly delicate on his thin neck.

He bowed slightly, his face full of respect.

"Master Draco, Miss Cygnus, Master Lucius and Lady Narcissa have instructed us to wait until you two return home safely. They are worried about you and are afraid that you will be hungry or have any inconveniences."

"Really, Mom and Dad are always so worried." Draco smiled helplessly, but his eyes were full of warmth. Cygnus gently squeezed his hand to comfort him.

"Dobby, you did a great job." Cygnus praised with a smile, her sharp eyes caught a piece of information on the table, which reported extensive news about Voldemort.

She walked over calmly, picked up the information, glanced at it, and frowned slightly.

"Draco, go change your clothes first. Dinner should be ready soon." Segnus cleverly sent Draco away. She needed some time to think.

Draco nodded and went upstairs.

Cygnus glanced at Dobby next to him, perhaps it could help him.

"Dobby, do you know where this information came from?" Segnus asked, with a hint of inquiry in his eyes.

Dobby nodded and said carefully: "This is what Master Lucius brought. He said that this information is very important and must be placed in a conspicuous place."

Segnus nodded slightly, and had a rough guess in his mind about the purpose of his father placing this information.

Segnus' eyes moved rapidly, her gaze scanning the hall like a radar.

Her brain was like a sophisticated computer, and she immediately began to conceive the next plan of action.

"Hey, Dobby, can you do me a little favor?" Cygnus half bent over, his eyes gently falling on the elf.

"Oh, Miss Segnus, whatever you say is what it is!" Dobby patted his chest and answered enthusiastically.

"Can you quietly find out if there are any strange people or things around our manor recently?"

Cygnus said as he gently adjusted Dobby's bow tie with his hands.

"No problem!" Dobby nodded rapidly, turned around and slipped out of the hall like the wind.

Segnus sat alone on the sofa, doubts growing in her heart.

She knew that the appearance of this information was not accidental, and her father must have wanted to tell her that Voldemort might have come to their home.

However, she was not sure whether this Voldemort was the sixteen-year-old him or the one she had hurt last time.

Segnus leaned back on the comfortable sofa, her body as tight as a bowstring. Her eyes were as sharp as an eagle hovering in the sky, examining every detail around her.

Her brain processed every bit of information quickly.

"Hold on, Segnus. Now is not the time to panic," she said to herself.

She was not just doing this for herself. Draco's needs were like a bright light hanging in her heart, and the fate of her family was like a heavy burden on her shoulders.

Cygnus sat there, lost in thought, her fingers drumming unconsciously on the armrest of the sofa.

She knew that no matter which Voldemort it was, it was a time bomb that had to be dealt with as soon as possible.

As for Gareth Selwyn, he is also a tricky problem. After all, the power of the Selwyn family cannot be underestimated.

But Draco couldn't know that he didn't have to bear this.

A few days passed at a snail's pace, and there was still no trace of Lucius and Narcissa.

Cygnus paced the room, her heart agitated.

She knew she couldn't wait indefinitely.

"Damn it, I have to do something," she muttered to herself, biting her lower lip.

Cygnus took a deep breath and slowly closed her eyes. Her fingers gently touched her collarbone, where the soul mark with Theodore was.

The room was silent, with only her breathing echoing.

Her mind began to race, as if plucking the strings of fate.

A moment later, the fire in the fireplace flickered gently, illuminating Theodore Nott's face. He walked out of the dancing flames step by step, as if he had come from another world.

The figure seemed even more mysterious under the dim green firelight, even with a hint of unpredictability.

He walked steadily, and although he couldn't hide the trace of fatigue between his brows, his elegance remained, as if it was innate.

The deep voice was filled with unquestionable power, echoing in the quiet room: “Signus, is it you who is looking for me?

Cygnus smiled and motioned him to come in.

"Yes, Theodore, I need your help." She led him into the hall.

Theodore walked into the hall, his eyes wandering among the furnishings, as if looking for something.

Segnus led him to sit down, and she sat on the sofa opposite, and the atmosphere between them was a little heavy.

"Theodore, do you know what's going on recently?" Segnus asked in a serious tone.

Theodore nodded slightly and replied, "I know something. The Nott family and the Malfoy family have always been Voldemort's subordinates. Although we have worked for him, the situation is unclear now, and we also need to consider ourselves."

Cygnus nodded in agreement. "That's right. I suspect Voldemort has set his sights on us. This document was left by my father."

As she spoke, she handed the information about Voldemort to Theodore.

Theodore took the information, glanced at it briefly, and frowned: "This matter is very serious. We need to find out his movements as soon as possible."

Suddenly, the door was pushed open and Dobby stumbled in, his face full of tension and urgency.

Dobby: "Miss Cygnus, hurry up, this letter has just been delivered to the manor, saying it's for Master Lucius!"

Its hand trembled slightly as it handed the letter to Cygnus.

Segnus took the letter, frowned slightly, and her eyes quickly wandered over the envelope.

At that moment, there seemed to be a barely perceptible change in her expression.

"Hmm, look at this, Riddle's ambition is really big." Segnus raised the letter in her hand, and there was a shrewd look in her eyes, as if she had seen through everything.

She walked lightly in front of Theodore, the smug smile on her lips seemed like a little secret that could not be hidden.

"We have to find this sixteen-year-old version of Voldemort first."

As she spoke, she handed the letter to Theodore, with a hint of ease and teasing in her tone.

"Listen to the contents of this letter. He wants my father to help him find his adult self. He also talks about devouring the original Voldemort and replacing him."

Segnus shook her head, as if she were both amused and impressed by the contents of the letter.

The letter in Theodore's hand rustled, and as he read the last sentence, his brows furrowed like a sky filled with dark clouds.

"This is not good news." He muttered to himself, with a hint of anxiety in his tone.

"If he really grows up to be a threat to Voldemort, it will be a big trouble for us."

Cygnus walked up to him lightly, with a determined light flashing in her smart eyes.

"Yes," she answered, her tone steady and firm.

"So, we have to take the initiative and find him before he does, at least before the noseless boiled egg devours him."

Cygnus turned to Theodore and said, "Let's investigate now. Does the Nott family have any clues to offer us?"

Theodore nodded. "I will do my best to help you, Segnus. Although the Nott family's intelligence network is not top-notch, it should be able to help a little."

"Theodore, let's stop here tonight. You go back and organize the intelligence first, and we'll meet again tomorrow." Segnus made a decisive decision. She knew that being hasty would not solve the problem.

Theodore nodded slightly, as if confirming a decision, then slowly stood up, his footsteps making no sound on the thick carpet.

He walked across the hall toward the ornate fireplace.

The flames in the fireplace danced happily, casting a warm glow on the surrounding stone walls.

Theodore grabbed a handful of Floo powder, his technique expert and confident.

With a flick of his fingers, the powder fell into the flames like a drizzle.

In an instant, the flames seemed to be cast by magic and turned into a dazzling emerald green.

He turned back to look at Seignus, a smile on his face, "See you tomorrow, Seignus."

Theodore did not hesitate. With firm steps, he stepped into the emerald flame without hesitation.

His figure gradually blurred in the firelight and finally disappeared into the depths of the fireplace.

Segnus leaned on the sofa, his eyes flickering with faint firelight, and a sneer appeared at the corner of his mouth:

"Ha, a floating soul form of Voldemort actually wants to devour the whole Voldemort. It's really hilarious. Isn't all this just paving the way for me, Cygnus?"

She slowly stood up, walked to the window, looked at the night outside, and her heart was filled with waves.

What Cygnus wanted was much more than the peace of the Malfoy family. What she longed for was supreme power, the peak that overlooked all living beings.

He turned and walked to the window, looked at the night outside, and began to plan tomorrow's action plan in his mind.

Segnus understands that in order to win this power struggle, she must make full use of her intelligence and all the resources around her.
