HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts
Chapter 60 Harry Joins the Rose Club
Segnus injected the power of faith bit by bit into a seemingly ordinary but extremely exquisite glass bottle.
The power of faith in the bottle is like a trapped elf, running around wildly in the bottle with all its brilliance, as if looking for a way to escape.
She wasn't the kind of person who had time to be a savior.
In her heart, the survival of Hogwarts? What does it have to do with her? But if the old man Dumbledore came to beg her in person, Segnus thought, the situation might be different.
"Become a hero? That depends on my mood." She murmured softly, her eyes revealing an unspeakable ambition.
Cygnus leaned back in his chair and handed the bottle to Harry with a casual wave of his hand.
"Give it to him, Harry," she said in a cynical drawl. "Drink it and everything will be fine. Of course, there are always side effects, right?"
What's in her bottle is not just liquid, it's the water of her faith. Anyone who drinks it and has a weak willpower may be controlled by her and become her loyal believer.
There was a gleam in Segnus' eyes. Her ambition was like a black hole, constantly devouring everything around it.
Harry's fingers were wrapped tightly around the vial, as if it were the last piece of driftwood in his life.
His eyes were fixed on Segnus, and what was reflected in his pupils was no longer the admiration of the past, but a light that was close to worship.
He looked at her like a believer gazing at the god in his heart, his face full of piety and his heart full of awe.
Cygnus leaned back in the leather chair, her eyes gleaming with cunning, her slender fingers tapping lightly on the table, a smug smile on the corner of her mouth.
"The beauty of this soul mark is that once it is engraved, they will be completely devoted to me." She muttered to herself, with a hint of evil in her voice.
She stood up and walked to the window. It was a dark night outside. A few cold stars in the night sky were reflected in Segnus' eyes, as if reflecting the indifference in her heart.
"Even if you use Legilimency, you won't be able to dig out a single word about me from their minds."
There was a hint of arrogance in her words that was hard to conceal.
What she didn't say was that they couldn't even have any improper thoughts about her, and any emotional fluctuations were blasphemy against God to them.
If someone develops unusual feelings for her, then he will know what bone-eating pain is.
That pain will continue until the fire of his life is completely extinguished.
Harry had joined the Rosicrucian Order, which meant he had to get up to speed quickly and understand everything that was happening.
Cygnus waved her hand, signaling Theodore to begin reporting the latest list of Slytherin Rose Cross members.
"Come on, Theodore, give our new partner some inside information."
Theodore began to list: "The current members of Slytherin are - Terence Higgs; Adrian Puse; Blaise Zabini; and sisters, Daphne and Astoria Greengrass."
As Cygnus sat there, her ears moved slightly, catching Theodore's voice, mentioning the two Greengrass sisters and Blaise.
There was a glimmer of surprise in her eyes, as if she had seen an unexpected development in the script.
She knew that every step Daphne took was to get rid of the heavy shackles of her family and to prevent her beloved sister from suffering any injustice.
"Oh, how interesting," Cygnus murmured to herself, her cunning eyes twinkling in thought.
She had thought that Daphne was the only one who would throw herself into this game.
But it was an unexpected turn when Astoria, the weak first-year student, also raised the banner of rebellion.
Cygnus slowly continued what Theodore said, with a hint of cynicism in her voice.
"Oh, by the way, don't forget our little warriors from Gryffindor, the little Neville Longbottom, the serious Percy Weasley, the hard-working Oliver Wood, and of course, the clever Hermione Granger."
She paused, a gleam in her eyes, and the smile on her lips became even more intense. "Hufflepuffs are not pushovers either. Susan Bourne's steadiness and Hannah Abbott's perseverance should not be underestimated."
Cygnus paused dramatically, deliberately suspenseful, before continuing, "As for Ravenclaw, Leonardo Arcadia's intelligence and talent cannot be ignored."
Harry couldn't believe his ears - Percy Weasley, a Weasley through and through, was hanging out with Cygnus, a Malfoy.
You know, the Weasley and Malfoy families are famous for their incompatibility, just like oil and water, which can't be reconciled at all.
But Percy seemed to be under magic and became a member of the Rose Cross Group led by Cygnus.
Oliver Wood, the campus celebrity, is about to graduate.
Why did he agree? It was because Segnus had given him the right medicine and painted a big picture for him:
Form a Quidditch team and use the name of the Rosicrucian Order to participate in the next Quidditch World Cup.
To win over such a Quidditch fanatic, a senior who seemed to have no interest in women, Senus really worked hard.
The corners of her mouth curled up into a smug smile, and she was calculating in her mind: "If I cater to his preferences, won't it be easy to get him?"
Segnus' eyes flashed shrewdly in the dim room, and he raised the corners of his mouth slightly, revealing a sneer.
She turned to Harry, her tone teasing, "Little savior, I have a small task for you."
Harry looked at Cygnus quietly.
"Open a cram school and use your title of savior as a sign." Cygnus said, tapping his fingers leisurely on the table. "I want you to attract all those potential fish."
Harry's eyes widened, somewhat confused.
"Don't worry, I will select the best ones from those fish." A wicked light flashed in Segnus' eyes. "After all, the Rose Cross only accepts elites, not rubbish."
Cygnus waved her hand gently, indicating that Harry could leave.
Harry hesitated and was about to turn around and leave, but Cygnus' voice stopped him in his tracks.
"Harry, listen to me, Severus Snape is a man of great talent. He has no intention of hurting you. Don't think about how to make things difficult for him all the time."
There was a hint of playfulness in her words, as if she was mocking Harry's little thoughts.
After all, Snape had always loved Harry's mother.
