HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 41 Visiting Malfoy Manor

Cygnus bit her lower lip gently, her eyes moving between her father's receding figure and Fred and George.

The two guys were still excited about the battle just now, with smug smiles on their faces.

She knew in her heart that the scene in the bookstore would soon become the talk of Hogwarts.

As a Slytherin, she had to find her footing in this chaos.

"Hey, Cygnus, are you okay?" Hermione asked with concern, gently pulling her sleeve.

Cygnus came back to her senses and gave Hermione a slightly bitter smile, "I'm fine, Hermione, thank you."

"You know, sometimes we have to step up and be the one to solve the problem."

As he spoke, he turned around and began to sort out the books that were in a mess.

Every movement was neat and orderly, as if in her world, order was always an indispensable piece of the puzzle.

Harry's eyes lit up in his eagerness to explain, and he turned to Cygnus, "Hey, Cygnus, I didn't mean to not answer your letter over the summer. Oh my god, I didn't even receive it! The house-elf withheld it."

His voice was full of apology.

The latter raised the corner of his mouth slightly, with a hint of cynicism in his eyes, as if everything was under control: "It's okay, Harry, as long as you know that I care about you."

She never even started writing the letter that she was supposed to send to Harry.

She planned to let this little trick sink into the abyss of her heart and never expose it.

At this moment, Leonardo Arcadia, with his golden hair shining in the light and shadow, walked into the room as if he had his own halo.

"Wow, look who's here!" Segnus raised her head and a knowing smile appeared on the corner of her mouth, as if she had expected Leonardo's arrival.

"Hey, did you miss some good show?" Leonardo said as he walked, his blue eyes full of inquiring light.

Segnus raised her eyes slightly, glanced at him, and then buried her head in arranging the rows of books.

The corners of her mouth curled up into a smile unconsciously: "Yes, this place has turned from a bookstore into a battlefield, but now, everything has returned to peace."

At this time, Leonardo's eyes fell on Hermione beside Seconas.

He waved enthusiastically and said in his everyday friendly tone: "Hi, hello! I'm Leonardo Arcadia, what's your name?"

As he spoke, he held out his hand for a friendly handshake.

Hermione's smile was full of warmth, as if it was a tacit understanding between old friends. She introduced softly: "Hermione Granger, and Sensei is a close friend."

"Arcadia?" She raised her eyebrows slightly, as if the name struck a small bell deep in her memory.

"I seem to have heard it somewhere." She blinked her curious eyes and looked straight at Leonardo.

Leonardo straightened his back, and the pride was clearly written on his face.

He answered briskly, "Yes! My uncle, um, is the fellow who sits on the throne of France."

"Look at the sunshine today, isn't it suitable for a short gathering?" Segnus said as he looked around, his eyes flickering between his friends.

"Wow, that's a great idea!" Hermione responded excitedly, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"I have long wanted to see the legendary Malfoy Manor."

Leonardo nodded easily, a smile on his face, "Then I won't refuse."

Segnus smiled slightly, already having a plan in mind.

Harry stood alone, with an indescribable chill in his eyes.

Before his eyes, Cygnus, Hermione, and Leonardo formed a small circle, happily planning their upcoming trip to Malfoy Manor.

Their laughter echoed in the air, but Harry felt as if something was blocking his heart, and he felt indescribable.

The most important thing is that Segnus did not invite him. He couldn't help but wonder if the new Leonardo had begun to shake his position in Segnus' heart?

This thought was like a sharp blade, creating ripples on the originally calm lake of my heart.

Harry tried his best to hide his inner fluctuations and forced a faint smile on his face: "Going to Malfoy Manor? It sounds really exciting."

Cygnus glanced at him sideways, the corners of her mouth slightly raised, revealing a knowing smile: "Yes, Harry, if you can spare the time, you might as well join us."

Harry's heart was shaken, and joy surged, but he pretended to be thoughtful: "Well, let me think about it."

Ron nervously tugged at Harry's sleeve and pulled him aside, his tone filled with worry: "Dude, are you really going to step into the Malfoy Manor? It's a notorious nest of poisonous snakes!"

Harry's eyes crinkled slightly, and there was more to him than he seemed.

He knew the rumors about that place, but Segnus's special attention to Leonardo was like a thorn that pricked him and caused him a dull pain.

He gritted his teeth and said, "I think it should be okay for me to go. After all, we are all friends."

Ron's eyes widened instantly, and he almost jumped up from the ground in shock: "Are you crazy? Don't you know how ambitious little Malfoy is? Don't forget, she is from Slytherin!"

Ron's voice was filled with alarm.

Harry's heart tightened, but he decided to go anyway. He wanted to prove to Sensei that he was a friend she could trust.

The trip to Malfoy Manor carefully planned by Cygnus was far more than a simple party.

This is not only a good opportunity to consolidate the friendship with Hermione and Leonardo, but also an excellent stage to show his social talents to the outside world.

She deliberately ignored Harry, but this small neglect was like a pebble thrown into a lake, causing ripples in his heart.

She thought to herself that this uninvited invitation was a psychological game, testing whether Harry could feel this silent call and whether he was willing to take the initiative to take that step. In this way, she could get a glimpse of her weight in Harry's heart.

Passing through the heavy carved doors that had to be pushed open with great force, Cygnus led the group into the magnificent hall of Malfoy Manor.

The sunlight shines through the high windows, dappling onto the exquisite carpet, illuminating the faces of Hermione, Leonardo, and Harry. Their eyes are filled with curiosity.

At this moment, Draco and Lucius were sitting comfortably on the retro sofa. Draco was flipping the wand in his hand casually between his fingers like a toy, while Lucius was immersed in the thick pages of a book, seemingly looking for some important information.

"Segnas, did you bring a new companion to our house?" Lucius raised his eyelids, with a barely perceptible interest in his tone.

Cygnus smiled lightly, as if she had expected this scene. "Dad, this is Hermione, that is Leonardo, and of course, our good friend Harry."

"You're finally back, sister." Draco raised his head and moved his gaze from Cygnus to the group of people behind her. His eyebrows slightly raised, revealing a hint of surprise and a little bit of provocation.

Anyone who wants to get close to my sister must first pass him.

Lucius sat on the luxurious sofa, his brows slightly twisted into a knot.

Deep down, he always felt somewhat dissatisfied with the Muggle-born Hermione, but his daughter, Sensei, was the apple of his eye. For her, he chose to suppress his dissatisfaction in his heart.

His tone was calm, with a hint of barely perceptible admiration, and he said, "I heard that your grades in school are quite impressive, second only to Segnus."

Hermione's smile was warm and confident, and she responded softly: "Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Malfoy. Cygnus's talent is recognized."

The corners of Segnus' mouth curled up in a smug arc.

She had insight into people's hearts and understood that behind her father's words was a secret recognition of Hermione's achievements.

Leonardo stepped forward politely and introduced himself to Lucius with a smile: "Mr. Lucius, I am Leonardo Arcadia. It is an honor to come to Malfoy Manor. I hope my uninvited visit has not caused you any inconvenience."

Lucius raised his eyebrows gracefully, and his deep eyes swept over Leonardo lightly, as if evaluating something.

Then, a satisfied smile spread across his face, as if he was very interested in this unexpected visitor.

"Oh, the Arcadia family, they are the best of the French pure-bloods." He spoke in a light tone, as if he was talking about a good story.

"Your visit has really made the manor more beautiful, Leonardo."

Leonardo had a polite smile on his face, but his eyes kept drifting towards the green outside the window.

Just then, Cygnus inserted herself into the conversation lightly, her voice as gentle and subtle as the spring breeze blowing across the water.

"Dad," Cygnus interrupted quietly, her eyes twinkling with intelligence.

"I think Leonardo might like some fresh air, don't you? Let's go to the back garden and see those beautiful white peacocks."

Lucius was a very attentive elder, and he immediately understood his daughter's little action.

"Go ahead. Young people always have more interesting topics to talk about. Draco, you might as well join their team."

"Don't let boredom take over, my friends!" Cygnus said as she waved her hand and said a simple goodbye to her father Lucius.

The group followed Cygnus through the magnificent corridor and came to the back garden.

The sunlight shines through the leaves onto the ground, creating mottled shadows.

White peacocks stroll gracefully on the lawn, occasionally spreading their beautiful tails to show off.

Segnace and Leonardo were chatting animatedly, their laughter like silver bells in the spring breeze, clear and melodious.

Harry had a forced smile on his face, but he felt like something was blocking his heart and was not very happy.

His fists clenched slowly at his sides, then slowly loosened, repeating this several times, as if he was struggling with his own emotions.

Cygnus always seemed to have the ability to make people around her revolve around her.

"Hey, listen to me," Segnus' eyes sparkled, and her voice seemed to have magic, naturally attracting the attention of Leonardo and Hermione, "We can do this..."

As she spoke, she gestured, and every movement seemed so confident and charming.

"Signus, your white peacock is so beautiful!"

The white peacock gracefully spread its tail feathers, like a beautiful painting, shining amazingly in the sun.

Hermione's eyes were deeply attracted by the scene and she couldn't help but exclaim in admiration.

"Isn't it?" Segnus said as she walked over and gently stroked the peacock's feathers with a satisfied smile on her lips.

"These little guys are like little stars in the house. They always bring surprises to the guests who come to visit."

Leonardo tilted his head, as if recalling something, and nodded slowly: "Just like those grand balls in the French court, the gorgeous costumes and elegant dance moves are intoxicating."

Harry couldn't help but interrupt: "Signus, does your family often hold such dances?"

Cygnus turned to look at Harry, a sly smile on her lips, "Yes, there was. However, I would rather have a grand ball at Hogwarts and let everyone participate."

Harry took a breath, and met Cygnus's gaze firmly, with a hint of shyness at the corners of his mouth: "Well, Cygnus, if there really is such a dance, can I ask you to dance with me?"

There was a gleam in Cygnus' eyes, like stars falling into the night sky, and her smile was like the warm sunshine on a spring day. "Of course, Harry, it is a great honor for me."

The setting sun is like an orange-red coin, slowly sinking into the sky, and time slips away quietly as it falls.
