HP Princess bravely enters Hogwarts

Chapter 16: Sharing a Bed with Cygnus

Today is a quiet Sunday. Hermione doesn't have to go to the classroom, so she stands at the door of the Slytherin College common room early in the morning, patiently waiting for Cygnus to arrive.

The students around were sitting or standing, enjoying the rare leisure time. They looked at Hermione with a familiar calmness in their eyes.

After all, as someone under the protection of the Malfoy family, she was no stranger in Slytherin.

The students whispered in private and occasionally cast curious glances at her, but no one dared to disturb her.

Currently, preparations for the establishment of the "Rose Cross Group" are in full swing, and the first task is to raise the vital start-up funds.

However, Segnus seemed confident about this.

"My dear," Cygnus comforted her gently, "You don't have to worry about that. In fact, I have successfully rented a shop in Diagon Alley, where I plan to sell the potions I brewed myself. This is the first step in our fundraising."

Hermione's eyes flashed with surprise when she heard what Cygnus said. She knew that Cygnus always had unexpected plans.

Sure enough, a few days later, a potion shop called "Dark Secret Realm" quietly opened in Diagon Alley.

No one knew that this was a shop owned by Cygnus, including Draco Malfoy, and she cleverly used magic to conceal the true situation inside the store.

The appearance of this shop exudes an old-fashioned charm, and the gaps between the bricks and stones are covered with moss.

At the door, a mysterious black owl was hanging quietly. Its deep eyes seemed to be able to see into the minds of the visitors. It swayed gently in the breeze, as if it would fly into the dark night sky in the next moment.

Under the dim lights in the store, all kinds of strangely shaped bottles and jars are displayed, and the colorful potions sparkle attractively under the lights.

In order to keep this magical shop running smoothly, she decided to take a bold measure - recruiting a group of dark wizards who were once feared.

As time went on, the eyes of these dark wizards changed from cold to gentle, and their movements changed from stiff to smooth.

They carefully placed various magical materials on the shelves, and occasionally lowered their heads to discuss how to better attract customers.

They were dressed in black robes, had stern faces, and wore a mask with a blooming rose delicately engraved on it.

The petals are layered and the lines are smooth and full of tension. It does not use bright colors, but deep black as the base tone, revealing a mysterious and dangerous atmosphere.

The rose petals seem to be soaked in the power of darkness. Each petal looks heavy and deep, making the entire mask exude a Gothic dark beauty, leading people into an unknowable mysterious world, making people dare not underestimate this store.

Hermione's eyes wandered over Sensenas' face like a searchlight, and she asked curiously, "Where on earth did these dark wizards come from? Are they...really useful?" She frowned slightly, revealing her inner doubts.

The corners of Segnus' mouth rose slightly, and a gleam of tolerance flashed in her eyes. She said slowly: "Don't underestimate these people. Although they were once lost in the darkness, everyone has made mistakes in their life. I just gave them a chance to turn things around."

Moreover, their magical abilities should not be underestimated, and with their help, we will be able to raise funds much faster.”

There was a hint of surprise in Hermione's eyes. She stared at Cygnus intently, and an unprecedented feeling surged in her heart.

She really had not expected that Segnus's ability to act would be so extraordinary, as swift and determined as a storm.

At the same time, Hermione was distressed by her own powerlessness. She longed to share some of the pressure with Cygnus and make a small contribution to her brilliant career.

Now, Hermione has completely become Cygnus' number one fan. She is willing to follow in Cygnus' footsteps and cheer and be proud of her every decision and achievement.

These days, Segnus's footsteps are as fast as an arrow, and he is extremely busy.

Every day is filled with trivial matters in the "Dark Secret Realm", as if it is an endless journey.

Her figure frequently flashed between the school and Diagon Alley, like a ghost constantly jumping between two worlds.

Heavy fatigue followed her like a shadow, her brows were furrowed, and her eyes revealed a bit of fatigue and helplessness.

In this rush, Segnus began to feel overwhelmed and exhausted both physically and mentally.

Draco Malfoy has been having a bit of a depressing time lately.

He found that he always passed his beloved sister by chance. She seemed to have become a ghostly shadow in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, coming and going without a trace.

Pansy told him that Cygnus would not stay in the Slytherin common room even if she had the time.

The voices of Crabbe and Goyle echoed in the gloomy corridor as they told Draco that Cygnus had recently become increasingly close to Gryffindor's Hermione Granger.

Draco frowned, his mouth drooped, and he muttered unhappily, "What kind of charm does that mudblood have that allows her to hang out with Granger all day long?"

Pansy's eyes slanted over from the side with a hint of warning, and she gently reminded: "Hey, you'd better not let Segnus hear that catchphrase of yours. She can't stand other people using that word the most."

Draco snorted in dissatisfaction. Although he resisted in his heart, he knew that Pansy's words were not empty talk.

The atmosphere around him seemed to freeze, and his heart seemed to be swept by a cold current, and he couldn't help but restrain himself.

The disgust he felt for Granger built up in his heart like a thick fog, and whenever he saw the girl, he would feel an inexplicable irritation in his chest.

He felt that it was she, the girl with the messy hair and sharp eyes, who had taken away the care and attention that belonged to his sister.

In his world, his sister was originally the person closest to him and a partner with whom he could talk about anything.

He couldn't help but be curious, and there was a hint of inquiry in his voice: "So, where did Blaise Zabini disappear to recently?"

Daphne Greengrass raised her eyebrows and rolled her eyes, as if she was already used to this question.

She shrugged and replied nonchalantly, "Where can he go? I heard that he has fallen in love with a new lover this time. He is probably having a romantic date with his new girlfriend."

In a corner of the room, Theodore Nott was buried in a book. Hearing this conversation, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, revealing a faint and slightly sarcastic smile.

Just then, Segnus pushed open the door with heavy steps, and the whole person seemed to be drowned by the waves of fatigue.

Step by step, she walked to the sofa with difficulty, and sat down on it weakly like a deflated ball.

Pansy and the others gathered around nervously, their eyes full of concern and anxiety.

Segnus's face was as pale as paper, and the corners of her mouth twitched slightly, trying to force a reassuring smile.

But the smile had not yet fully blossomed, like a candle that was suddenly blown out, disappearing in the shadow of fatigue.

"Don't... don't worry, I'm fine, just... just a little tired..." Her voice was weak, like a candlelight swaying in the wind.

Before he finished speaking, under everyone's nervous gaze, Segnus' body shook slightly, and time stopped at this moment.

Her eyes slowly closed, and all the sounds around her gradually faded away, finally disappearing in silence.

Pansy and the others cried out in surprise, scrambling to hold her up, but they only managed to grab hold of empty space that slipped through their fingers.

The noise around them suddenly increased, and Theodore Nott in the crowd rushed forward, his arms gently wrapped around her, as if holding a fragile treasure.

His steps were quick and firm as he shuttled through the corridor and ran towards the medical wing at full speed.

Theodore Nott's heart was in turmoil, and the safety of Cygnus was like a heavy burden weighing on his heart.

At this moment, he was willing to give up everything he had in exchange for her peace. Her pain was magnified in his imagination, and he wished he could share it with her, even a little bit.

Madam Pomfrey's eyes were fixed on Sensei who had fainted on the ground, her eyes full of distress and anxiety.

Her hand quickly reached for the medicine bag at her waist, her fingers skillfully rummaged through it, and finally pulled out a small bottle of crystal clear medicine.

Gently unscrew the bottle cap, and a faint medicinal fragrance fills the air.

Madam Pomfrey carefully brought the mouth of the bottle to Cygnus' pale lips and tilted it gently, allowing the liquid to flow slowly into her mouth.

Everything around seemed to be still, only the sound of the medicine dripping seemed particularly clear.

Theodore's heart was lifted little by little as the medicine dripped into his body. He hoped that Segnace would wake up soon and regain her usual vitality and energy.

Soon, Segnus slowly opened her eyes, and the surrounding scenery seemed to gradually become clear from the fog.

Madam Pomfrey leaned closer, her tone so gentle as if she was afraid to disturb the soul that had just awakened:

"Child, don't be too hard on yourself. Your health is the capital of revolution."

As she spoke, she pulled out a bottle of nourishing potion from her pocket, handed it to Segnus, and told her to keep it safe.

Segnus took the potion, feeling the warmth of the bottle in her hand, a smile slowly blossomed at the corners of her mouth, and she nodded gently.

I was thinking to myself that I must prepare some more of these energy-boosting tonic potions in my spare time to prevent myself from fainting again from overwork.

Madam Pomfrey saw through Sensenas' inner struggle at a glance, sighed softly, and shook her head.

She turned and told the others present that Cygnus needed a moment of peace and quiet.

Following this instruction, Theodore, Pansy and Draco all showed worry in their eyes.

They moved slowly, with heavy hearts, and walked out of the room one by one.

The night was as dark as ink. Segnus lay quietly on the bed in the medical wing. The surroundings were so quiet that she could hear her heartbeat.

Just then, she suddenly caught a faint sound.

Then, Hermione Granger slowly emerged from the shadows, with a warm smile on her face, and said softly, "I heard that you fainted suddenly. I thought you might be scared here alone, so I decided to come and accompany you."

Segnus felt warm at heart. Finally, she didn't have to spend the long night alone in the medical wing.

At this tense moment, a subtle sound once again broke the silence.

Sensei reacted quickly, glancing around nervously before motioning for Hermione to hide in the shadows nearby.

Her heartbeat quickened, and her palms began to sweat as she imagined Hermione being found by the professor and thrown into detention.

The footsteps gradually became clearer, and the person coming was none other than Cygnus's younger brother, Draco Malfoy.

He said with a trembling voice: "I'm really worried about you. I'm afraid you won't adapt to this place, so I came to see you."

Segnus knew that his brother had always been afraid of the dark, but he still mustered up the courage and stepped into the dim room.

She looked at his determined steps and felt a warm feeling in her heart.

As Draco Malfoy disappeared at the end of the corridor, Hermione breathed a sigh of relief and sat back down in the chair next to Cygnus.

Segnus' voice rang softly in the quiet room: "Would you like to squeeze in with me?"

Hermione's cheeks instantly flushed with shyness, she lowered her head and nodded slightly like a little girl.

That touch of red is like the brightest apple in autumn.

Segnus smiled and waved the wand in her hand, gently chanting the enlargement spell, and the small bed instantly expanded and became much more spacious.

In the darkness of the night, Hermione lay carefully beside Sensei, her heart beating like a drum, nervous and excited.

She could feel Cygnus's warmth and the sound of his steady breathing, which gradually filled her ears.

Despite this, her heart was still beating rapidly, as if it would jump out of her chest at any moment.

She actually slept with Cygnus! In her mind, this was even more incredible than winning the lottery!

Their relationship was close enough that they could share a bed like this.

For Hermione Granger, this night was destined to be a sleepless night full of excitement and anxiety.
