After traveling through time, I became friends with Tsunade

Chapter 21 "Three Ninjas" (Part 3)

"Sorry, for me..." Tsunade felt very guilty when she saw Jiraiya's weak appearance.

"What are you talking about? Burns of this degree are not considered injuries." Jiraiya said, suppressing his discomfort and comforting Tsunade.

"Even our coordinated ninjutsu doesn't work." Orochimaru retreated to Jiraiya and Tsunade, frowning.

"Is that the end?" Jiraiya stared at Hanzo with gritted teeth.

Hanzo looked down at the three people who were breathing heavily.

"I'm afraid the Leaf Village has won this war. I will let you live."

Hanzo glanced at his fallen subordinates. He knew that the Rain Village had already lost the war. There was no way. The strength of the Rain Village was still too weak compared to the five major nations. Even if he could keep Orochimaru, Jiraiya and Tsunade, he could not change this outcome.

What's more, he knew very well that the three people in front of him were disciples of the third Hokage of Konoha Village, Sarutobi Hiruzen. If they were forced to stay here, it might lead to a fight between Konoha Village and Amegakure.

Jiraiya, supported by Tsunade, shouted unwillingly: "We don't need your sympathy, we can still continue to fight!"

"Jiraiya, don't be like this."

Looking at Hanzo staring down at them, Tsunade's heart felt like being stabbed by a needle, but she still kept her mind. Because she was very aware of the current physical conditions of the three of them, she quickly dissuaded the indignant Jiraiya.

"You three are very capable, and have managed to survive even a situation like this. From now on, I, Hanzo, will call you the Three Ninjas of Konoha. You should call yourselves by this title that you have earned at the cost of your lives."

Hanzo stood on top of the salamander, looked at the three of them with cold eyes, and spoke.

The cold rain fell on the three people, but the shame brought by Hanzo was hard to wash away. The title of Konoha Sannin was now a shame for the three of them, not an honor. It could not make them feel proud.

Hanzo's eyes were filled with a trace of unwillingness, and the Salamander turned around tacitly and took Hanzo away from the battlefield. Even the subordinates who fell here and were unknown whether they were dead or alive did not let him stay for a second.

"call!"

Seeing Hanzo finally leave, the exhausted Jiraiya could no longer hold on and sat down. Orochimaru and Tsunade also breathed a sigh of relief. Although they still had the strength to fight, facing the unfathomable Hanzo, they really had no confidence that they could defeat him.

After a period of rest, their physical strength recovered a little, so they began to clean up the battlefield, while Tsunade was responsible for treating the wounded.

……

Hokage's office.

Yusuke sat on the sofa and looked at the report. It turned out that the road to becoming a Sannin was so dangerous. No wonder Hanzo said that the title was obtained at the cost of his life.

Hanzo must have had the intention to kill at that time, but he was afraid of Sarutobi Hiruzen behind Tsunade and the other two, or he was afraid of Konoha and was afraid that it would bring a devastating blow to the Rain Village, and perhaps the Rain Village would be destroyed.

Sarutobi Hiruzen was smoking a pipe and looking at Yusuke with a smile in his eyes. Among his four disciples, three of them had already made a name for themselves in the ninja world.

Although being a Sannin doesn't sound very glorious, how many people can hold out against Hanzo for such a long time, and Hanzo was very thorough when he attacked. As a teacher, Sarutobi Hiruzen was proud of his student.

After reading it, Yusuke returned the scroll to Sarutobi Hiruzen. After taking the scroll, Sarutobi Hiruzen found that Yusuke had been staring at him, as if he had something to say.

After the two of them stared at each other for a few seconds, Yusuke uttered a few words.

"Teacher, I'm hungry. Can I go home for dinner?"

Sarutobi Hiruzen felt that he had never fallen so miserably in his life. He stood up quickly, looked at Yusuke with disappointment, and sighed silently.

But think about it, this kid was thrown into the wild by me, and then was tortured by the ape demon for three months.

Forget it, let this guy go back to have a meal and have a good rest.

Just like that, Yusuke said goodbye to Sarutobi Hiruzen, left the Hokage building, and walked towards his home.

Sarutobi Hiruzen was thinking about what to do with Yusuke next and fell into deep thought.

The Watanabe family's barbecue restaurant.

"Mom and Dad, I'm back." Yujie pushed open the door. It felt so good to be home.

Since it’s not time for dinner yet, the only sound in the store is the dad cutting meat in the kitchen.

"I'm glad you're back." Dad wiped his hands, walked out of the kitchen, walked to the door of the store without stopping, and hung up a sign saying it was temporarily closed.

Since Yusuke was dragged away by Enma three months ago and had no sense of his parents, Sarutobi Hiruzen sent someone to notify Yusuke's parents and tell them that Yusuke had gone on an emergency mission.

It is a tradition of the Watanabe family that whenever their son is on a mission for more than a month, his parents will prepare a table of delicious food for Yusuke on the first night he returns.

"Are you hungry?" Dad never asked Yujie what mission he went on, he only cared about whether his son was hungry.

"I haven't eaten anything today. I'm hungry." Yusuke said, touching his stomach.

Without saying a word, my father immediately set up the oven and brought out the freshly cut meat slices.

When Meiko Watanabe returned home and saw that the door was not open, she knew that her son was back. She pushed open the door and saw that the father and son were already drinking and playing finger-guessing games.

"cheers!"
