Hogwarts: I'm taking my dad to find my mom.
Chapter 78 Son
"Grandpa Newt!"
The old man with slightly curly hair widened his eyes, looking at the face in front of him which was much more open than a few years ago, and then looked at Agas' hair color dully.
Then he said hesitantly: "A-Agas?"
Agas put down the fainted unicorn in his arms, touched his head awkwardly and nodded.
"your hair?"
"Faded, yes, it's faded."
Newt blinked and glanced at the red hair again.
"Can it change from black to red?"
"..."
"Let's not talk about this for now. Come on, help me put this unicorn into my box first."
Newt opened the box and stepped inside first.
Agath followed in, dragging the unicorn with him, grunting.
I have to say, the forest is indeed eerie at night.
On top of another huge tree canopy, a small black-striped snake was coiled on the top of the canopy, spitting out its tongue and watching the two people enter the box one after the other.
A pair of red snake eyes flashed with a faint light.
"Grandpa Newt, why did you attack the unicorn?"
Aga stroked the unicorn's gray fur and looked at Newt in confusion as he was busy running around and piling things next to the unicorn.
"I didn't attack her."
"I've been following her for a long time, and I want to save her."
Newt cast his always gentle gaze on the unicorn. He squatted beside the unicorn and smeared distilled water on the injured parts of the unicorn that had just been broken free.
"This unicorn exiled itself."
"Her mother begged me to save her."
"Agas, everything has feelings. Her husband and children are dead. She fled her tribe and came here, waiting for her own death."
Agas bent down and touched the corners of the unicorn's closed eyes, leaving a few tears.
"But her mother loves her and hopes that I can save her and bring her home."
When Newt said this, he also noticed the tears that the unicorn was shedding.
His tone became gentler: "Lyanna, your tribe is waiting for you. Your sick mother has been thinking about you and worrying about you. Moreover, she is looking forward to seeing you for the last time."
"A unicorn that exiles and gives up on itself will gradually lose the glory of the unicorn clan. That's why you can see that her hair is dull and the light around her body is very weak."
The unicorn named Lyanna slowly opened her eyes and looked anxiously at Newt who was speaking.
Several noises came out of his mouth.
"Is your mother ill?"
Agas translated for Newt and looked at Newt as well.
"She missed you very much." Newt smiled at Lyanna, motioned for her to follow him, and led her through the cottage to a beautiful meadow.
On the grass, there was an old unicorn with gray hair, but with a dazzling light all over its body, coiled under a big tree.
After hearing the noise, the unicorn slowly raised its head and looked at the people coming.
When she saw Lyanna behind Newt, tears as big as beans slowly fell down her cheeks.
"Mother!"
Lyanna straightened up and ran in her mother's direction.
His limbs snapped and he fell to his knees beside the unicorn.
"Lyanna, I am happy to see you one last time."
The old unicorn could no longer stand up, and could only rub its head against Lyanna to comfort her.
"It's Lyanna's fault for making you so worried."
"Good boy, it's not your fault."
The unicorn spoke a few more words to his daughter affectionately before looking at Agas, who was standing unmoved on one side, and Newt, who had tears in his eyes, on the other side.
She suddenly spoke in human language: "Mr. Scamander, thank you for allowing Hitt to see his daughter again."
Newt shook his head, "Sit, we are friends."
Hitt smiled, and his eyes, filled with vicissitudes of life, took one last look at his daughter, then he slowly closed his eyes with satisfaction.
Lyanna cried and pressed her horn against her mother's. The place where the two horns were connected emitted light.
Under the shining light, she uttered some words, and the body of the dead unicorn in front of her became fainter and fainter, and finally slowly turned into a pool of silver-white powder.
As the strange ritual ended, Lyanna gathered the powder using a magic that Argath had never seen before, then collapsed to the ground in a daze.
"I haven't seen a unicorn funeral in a long time."
Newt gently wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes, squatted down, checked Lyanna's body, and after confirming that there was no problem, he carried Agas' neck and walked towards the cabin.
"Ouch!"
Agas felt as if his neck was being gripped tightly, and he staggered backwards.
"Shouldn't you be sleeping in Hogwarts now?"
"I received a letter from Luo Er a few days ago, saying that he met you at school."
"Why on earth did you come here? Why did you come here?!"
Newt's greetings one after another left Agassi speechless.
Argas could only stare at Newt's opening and closing lips with a dull look until his mouth closed.
Then he shook his head and added another sentence.
"Are you done?"
"Ouch." Newt hit Agas' head.
"I don't know how I ended up here."
Agas was aggrieved as he spoke, and said with a sad face: "I was on my way back to the dormitory when I bumped into a portkey and was brought here."
Newt pondered for a moment, then looked at the dirt on Agas' body and the wound on his face that was scratched from somewhere.
Handed over a bottle of white savory essence.
"I will send a letter to your principal later, and then send you back."
Newt said as he called an owl, tore out a piece of parchment from the desk beside him, quickly wrote a few lines, and then handed the letter to the owl.
Suddenly, as if he thought of something, he turned back and stared at Agas' face, then looked at the name of the recipient of his letter.
He said to Agarth: "Who is Dumbledore to you?"
Agas initially thought that Newt had already discovered it, but it turned out that this guy was just slow to react, and he only realized it now.
"Well, guess." Agas raised his eyebrows.
Newt looked at Agas's appearance and remembered the last name he mentioned when he introduced himself a few years ago, and his face suddenly darkened.
He finally understood why he didn't know the last name Linger, because there was no such last name at all.
Newt sent the owl out of the box with a sour face. After watching it fly away with the letter, he glared at Agas angrily.
"I said! I said!"
Agarth raised his hands and shouted: "Albus is my mother, Grindelwald is my father, I am their biological son!"
