Happy life of a woman in the space apocalypse

Chapter 1: Traveling to a Strange World

Jian Wu heard a wheezing sound in her ears. She opened her eyes with difficulty and saw two big nostrils facing her. Suddenly, a machete appeared in her hand and she chopped at the pig's nose.

She used the help of the knife handle to leap up and took several steps back. She looked closely and saw that it was a "wild boar". She was full of doubts but it did not stop her from continuing to chop the "wild boar". The "wild boar" also became manic because its nose was chopped off and rushed towards Jian Wu.

He dodged sideways and the knife pierced into the "wild boar's" abdomen, cutting it sideways. Blood and internal organs splashed to the ground. He wanted to rush towards Jian Wu with all his strength, but he fell to the ground after only taking one step.

Jian Wu looked around with the machete in her hand. There were green mountains, clear waters, singing birds, and fragrant flowers. The air was so fresh that it was unbelievable.

Looking at her ankle-length white nightgown and bare feet, she took out a pair of sneakers from the space and put them on first, and then did other things after making sure it was safe.

But Jian Wu didn't know how shocking and amazing it would be in a man's eyes to see her with her fluttering dress, flowing black hair, and heroic appearance holding a bloody machete.

Jian Wu remained highly alert and rushed over when she noticed a swaying branch not far away. When facing zombies, one must act quickly, ruthlessly and accurately.

When the machete was about to fall on the black head, the other party blocked it with a hunting pole.

"Humanity?!"

Jian Wu looked the man up and down. He was wearing a white old man's sweatshirt and army green pants. He had a tall and sturdy figure and a bronze complexion. His muscles would bulge out from time to time. It was obvious that he was a man who exercised regularly.

Come to think of it, who wouldn't have some muscles in their body after killing zombies every day in the apocalypse? As for his appearance, it was just average, and it had nothing to do with the little milk dog she liked.

Shang Weidong felt a little embarrassed by the look of the fairy in front of him. If he hadn't been teasing her, he would have been blushing right now.

"Fairy, do you need help?"

Jian Wu missed the man and walked down the mountain as if he was a lunatic, but she remained alert at all times, because who knew if the next person to appear might be a zombie.

Shang Weidong quickly chased after him and pointed at the bloody wild boar behind him.

"Comrade, you killed the wild boar and don't want it anymore? In fact, you can sell it on the black market to make money. Now the price of wild boar meat is more than one yuan per pound, and one can sell for more than two hundred yuan."

Jian Wu paused. Black market, wild boar, more than 200 yuan. Isn't it a mutant beast? When can money be used?

"You said it was a wild boar? More than one dollar per pound?"

Shang Weidong was full of doubts, but thinking that fairies were not worldly, he explained patiently.

"It's a wild boar, and a pretty big one at that. It's a shame to throw it away."

“Have you ever seen a zombie?”

Jian Wu looked at Shang Weidong steadily, trying to find any trace of lying on his face.

"Zombies? What are they? There are no dead people on the mountain."

Jian Wu's heart was instantly lifted up.

"The name of your country."

"Fenghua Country."

Jian Wu stretched out her hand and twisted her thigh hard. Oh, this was a strange world, and she immediately roared in her heart.

Hahahaha, I don’t have to experience the damn apocalypse anymore, my time has come!

Shang Weidong frowned when he saw the little girl was so cruel to him. Can fairies be so cruel?

"Comrade, are you okay? Do you need my help? My name is Shang Weidong."

Jian Wu suddenly reached out and took Shang Weidong's hand and shook it vigorously, then shook hands to express her gratitude.

"Thank you, comrade. I'm very grateful to meet you here. We'll meet again someday."

Jian Wu rushed down the mountain quickly. She wanted to see this era and this strange country.

Shang Weidong clenched his hand and felt a tingling sensation in his heart. He quickly chased after the girl who was fluttering like a butterfly, fearing that she would disappear if he wasn't paying attention.

When Jian Wu rushed to the foot of the mountain, she saw many people working in the fields. The worn and patched clothes made her eyes red. A stable life was her dream, and now it was right in front of her.

"Comrade, it's not appropriate for you to go down the mountain with a machete. And which village are you from? I haven't seen you in Anhe Village."

Jian Wu thought about her current situation. She had no identity and no home. If she went out rashly and was asked about something, she would not be able to explain anything.

Jian Wu glanced at the person in front of her. This person was a big stumbling block. If she let this person follow her again, there would be many problems that could not be explained. So she better say goodbye!

"Comrade, I'm going home now. The wild boar on the mountain is for you. Goodbye."

Jian Wu immediately ran up the mountain. After getting rid of this person, she would go down the mountain to have a good look at this strange world. As for the household registration ID card, there would always be a way to solve it.

"Wait a minute, don't run around, I'm not a bad person. I'm here to help you if you have any difficulties. Hey! I don't even know your name..."

How could a fairy have a household registration or something? And he had only one thought in his mind, which was that he must not let the fairy disappear, otherwise he would regret it for the rest of his life.

"You probably don't have a household registration and you don't have a home. If you run around rashly and get discovered, it will be a disaster. You can't explain your identity at all. I can help you, but I don't have any ulterior motives!"

Jian Wu stopped in her tracks. This suggestion was very attractive and it would not take much effort to listen to it. If this person had bad intentions, she would send him to hell with her own hands.

Shang Weidong saw the little fairy stop and ran forward quickly, his muscles tense, but he tried to make his voice gentler.

"I don't ask where you come from, but it's fate that we met. I will help you solve the difficulties in front of you, and then I will not stop you from going wherever you want."

Of course Jian Wu would not believe in aimless help. In the end times, there was only exploitation and betrayal, so she dared not trust anyone.

"Let's talk about the terms. I'll give you a gold bar as your reward, and we'll owe each other nothing. If you dare to reveal any of my secrets, you'll end up like that wild boar."

Shang Weidong saw the girl who looked so cute but forced herself to be fierce. This contrast made him like her to the core. But he was afraid that if he rejected her, she would turn away.

“Half a gold bar is enough, it’s not a difficult thing anyway.

By the way, your clothes don’t look good. I’ll go home and find you some clothes. Then you can come home with me and we can discuss the details later.”

"wait for me."

"You must wait for me."

Jian Wu smiled at the man who was running and turning around to talk, but her face was stiff. She really hadn't smiled for a long time. Sitting on the ground, looking up at the sunshine, she felt so relaxed.

Thinking about her past life, no, it should be her first life. She was an 18-year-old girl who had just been admitted to university for less than half a year. She had experienced three years of apocalypse, hunger, fear, deception, and unscrupulous means. The only kindness in her heart also disappeared in those three years.

Shang Weidong moved very quickly, and those working in the fields all looked at Zhao Hehua when they saw him passing by.

"Lotus, why is your boy running so fast? Did he encounter prey in the mountains?"

"It's been a long time since I last ate meat. My mouth is watering just thinking about it."

Zhao Hehua stood up calmly, brushed the dust off her trouser legs, and walked back carrying the hoe.

"What are you thinking about? My son doesn't hunt exclusively for the village."

"Yo, yo, yo, everyone knows that your boy is a worker in the county, the best in our village."

The pride on Zhao Hehua's face was too obvious, and she was helpless because her eldest son was so successful.
