Chapter 370 JOJO-Novel
The days in Morioh Town were unexpectedly calm.
More than a week has passed, and everyone has almost gotten used to life in Morioh Town.
It was different from when they were in Beika Town, where they stayed in the villa most of the time. The scenery in Morioh Town was so beautiful, with mountains, water, sea, and fields, so they went out every day.
In fact, there are actually quite a lot of tourists in Morioh Town, so they don't look out of place among the crowd of tourists.
Oda Sakunosuke was concentrating on writing in the seaside cottage he rented, and his progress was very fast. Although the ending of the first novel was not yet completed, he had already written half of the second novel.
Oda Sakunosuke's first novel tells the story of a killer who turns over a new leaf, but the main theme is humorous and full of the flavor of urban life. The background of the story also describes the process of a huge organization's rise and fall, and then its rise and fall again.
In general, Mr. Killer doesn't want to kill anymore. He wants to be an ordinary person and live an ordinary and happy life.
To do this, he faked his own death, broke away from his original gang, then with the help of his friends, he had plastic surgery to change his appearance, and finally settled down in a small city.
The city where he settled was actually still under the jurisdiction of the gang where he used to work, so he often met his former colleagues and could always see what happened to his old club after he left.
He has lived in this small city for more than ten years and has experienced a lot during this period.
Some friends leave, some friends become enemies, and some new friends come in.
There are crises where one's identity is almost exposed, and there are also daily routines where one makes a lot of jokes because one doesn't know the rules of ordinary people's society.
She even met her first love, although it ended in death. She then adopted a terminally ill child and accompanied him through the last moments of his life, allowing him to leave this world in happiness.
The ending that Oda Sakunosuke has always been struggling with is whether this killer who has turned over a new leaf should finally have a happy ending.
Will the former killer's identity eventually be revealed and he be executed by the gang he once served, or will he be arrested by the police and imprisoned?
Or just live your life like an ordinary person and end your life like an ordinary person through birth, aging, sickness and death?
Oda Sakunosuke's second novel is a mystery novel, or to be more precise, the protagonist of the novel was once a detective, but because of some experiences, he eventually gave up his identity as a detective and became an ordinary office worker.
But his past experiences are still chasing him all the time, including the cases he solved, the police officers he worked with, the criminals he arrested, and the people he saved and helped...
People from the past kept wandering around him, and the cases in the news and the gossip from his colleagues kept stimulating his reasoning brain.
He is no longer a detective, but "reasoning" still shines on him like the sun above his head.
In order to completely change his life, he even began to consider changing cities or even countries to live in.
However, something unexpected happened and his friend was involved in a serial murder case.
In order to save his friend, he began to fight against the serial killer in the dark. The two of them started a "Crime and Reasoning Competition" as if they were playing a duel game. Behind every game they played, there were lives and stories.
Oda Sakunosuke has not yet figured out how the novel's plot will develop.
The killer in the first book was undoubtedly based on his own character, while the detective in the second book was based on the mystery novels of Edogawa Ranpo and Kudo Shinichi, and was also influenced by the mystery novels of many mystery novelists including Kudo Yusaku.
The supporting characters and storyline of the novel are also more or less based on the experiences of the companions around him.
For example, the five detective friends were inspired by Kenji Hagiwara and his group.
Mr. Killer loves strawberries and chocolate, which is based on Aiko Gojo's preferences.
The reason why I didn't write that Mr. Killer likes spicy curry rice is that I was afraid of arousing suspicion from others. After all, he has too many similarities with Mr. Killer. Although most people probably won't believe it, we still have to try to avoid unnecessary controversies.
Otherwise, if his novel becomes popular, fans will end up arguing about whether Mr. Killer is the author, and even investigate the author's identity information, which would be bad.
Oda Sakunosuke plans to take the protagonist and plot of the third book from Kakyoin Noriaki.
But the setting naturally needs to be changed.
He planned to write about a girl who was born with the ability to see ghosts. She was ostracized by the people around her because of her special ability, until she met her fateful companions with the same ability and powerful enemies during a trip at the age of 17.
Possessing the ability to defeat the enemy, will she go back and continue to live her lonely but ordinary life as if it has nothing to do with her, or will she resolutely embark on the journey, destroy the enemy together with her companions at the cost of her own life?
Oda Sakunosuke felt that in Morioh Town, his writing inspiration and efficiency were increasing rapidly.
But the main reason may be that they don’t have to go to work, and Kakyoin Noriaki’s enemies are already dead, unlike the Black Organization who are still alive and well, so they don’t need to be vigilant all the time.
Although there are still dangers in Morioh Town, it doesn't seem to be too serious at the moment, at least no particularly powerful enemies have been found.
As long as no particularly dangerous enemies appear next, they might really be able to live in Morioh Town like on vacation for a few months.
Moreover, Noriaki Kakyoin is planning to return to his hometown to visit his parents from afar, so they may leave Morioh Town for a while.
Oda Sakunosuke thought that the concept of a stand-in was quite interesting, and perhaps he could write a novel about it.
I wonder if I need to pay copyright fees to this "stand-in world"?
After all, the stand belongs to this world.
If I were to write a novel about a stand-in...
The meaning of the word "stand" itself is too easy to be understood as "replacement" or "substitution", although the birth of the stand is indeed influenced by the stand user himself. For example, the emperor of Kakyoin Noriaki likes quiet and small places because of Kakyoin Noriaki's experience of being alone. In a sense, it is indeed like a "stand-in".
But no one can actually explain what a stand-in is, because theoretically, the upper limit of a stand-in is too large, and no one knows what kind of stand-in will be born in the world.
Maybe one day in the future, a stand will be born that can bring about major changes to the entire world?
Just like Saiki K.'s superpowers, changing the world due to personal will is not completely impossible.
