My Rebirth and the Strange Adventure of Black Zhen
Chapter 366: Turbulence in Bathory Castle (End)
The druids carefully escorted him to the Cenarion District, but what no one expected was that Fandral had already been waiting there, and started a thrilling battle with Malfurion who came to rescue Amur, Naralex and Shandris!
Malfurion came here not only to rescue the three trapped people, but also to put an end to Fandral's crazy conspiracy. After a hard fight, Amuir and Shandris finally regained their freedom, but they did not forget to clear Broll's name. The two stood up and argued with reason, revealing Fandral's true face to everyone - this once respected druid leader has now fallen into an out-and-out traitor.
Faced with the truth, Fandral, who had already fallen into a state of madness, not only did not repent, but instead slandered Hamuul, Broll, Naralex and Shandris, insisting that they were the sinners of the druids. In anger, Fandral cast a vicious spell on the druids around him, trying to put them to death.
At this moment, Fandral had obviously lost his mind, and he couldn't even recognize his own son, Vastan, whom he had killed. Watching his beloved son die tragically in front of his eyes, this sudden blow made Fandral stunned, unable to move his body at all.
At this critical moment, the druid power that had been hidden in Broll's body for a long time suddenly erupted! His eyes shone with the same dazzling golden light as Malfurion. Taking this opportunity, Malfurion turned around and rushed to the source of corruption in Teldrassil without hesitation, determined to fight against the evil forces; while Broll chose to stay and fight side by side with Hamuul to heal the injured druid companions.
After Malfurion's return, all the druids worked together, gathered their powerful strength, and went all out to bring Teldrassil back to life. In the process, Malfurion accidentally discovered a mysterious portal that led to the emerald dream of the Emerald Dream. Through this portal, he successfully established contact with the saviors of Azeroth and together they formed a brave and fearless army.
Broll followed Malfurion's orders and searched for clues of the Nightmare Army. After a lot of hard work, he finally found the clue. Not only that, he also accompanied Sora all the way and helped her find the battle axe left to her by her uncle, Broxhija. With the axe in hand, Sora was like a god of war, and in one go, she chopped down the shadow tree of the Nightmare King in the Emerald Dream.
Broll used his extraordinary skills to help Sora regain his axe and defeat Xavius's Shadow Tree. After going through untold hardships to resolve the crisis of the Emerald Nightmare, Malfurion invited Broll to be a witness at his grand and solemn wedding with Tyrande. Although Broll always felt that he was not worthy of the antlers that symbolized the status of an archdruid, Malfurion believed in him and always respected him as a great druid.
Now, relying on his extraordinary ability in the field of druids, he has successfully defeated the evil and cunning Fandral and completely purified the corrupted Teldrassil. He seems to have mastered the mysterious power and can skillfully use the powerful energy from the continent of Azeroth to awaken the druids who were sleeping because of Fandral's treason.
When he successfully completed this series of earth-shaking feats, Broll's eyes, which had been silver since birth, now glowed with a golden light as bright as Malfurion's. At this point, Broll finally crossed the last obstacle in his heart and became a true archdruid as he wished. The self-doubt that once lingered in his heart had disappeared, replaced by rock-solid self-confidence.
After that, he fought alongside Malfurion and Ysera to purify the terrible Emerald Nightmare. After this fierce battle, he had completed a great mission that was shocking and far-reaching.
Over the ages, most elementals were imprisoned in another dimension. But some, like Theradras, escaped exile. She hid underground and slowly fell into a deep sleep. The thousand years of sleep weakened Theradras's once powerful body. Just awakened from her sleep, Theradras came to this green land and devoured the life force everywhere. The surging power rushed through her body, making her indestructible again. The land that Theradras had drained of power was left barren, and all the plants around Mashanhi withered and died. The terrified minotaurs now had to rely on carrion to survive, and later named this barren wasteland Desolace.
The loss of life sent ripples throughout Azeroth and even into the Emerald Dream. Cenarius' eldest son, Zaetar, traveled outside the Dream to investigate, eventually discovering Theradras's lair. However, while he was determined to imprison the strange creature, he became obsessed with the princess. Theradras' stolen life force enchanted Zaetar, and he was mesmerized by her beauty. Theradras, in turn, fell in love with Zaetar and decided to earn his undying love at all costs.
The elemental princess knew how she had enchanted Zaetar, and she used this tactic to the fullest. Theradras claimed that she had no ill will towards the land, and that she was merely seeking to restore it to its former beauty. She urged Zaetar to join her in realizing this dream. Thus were born the first centaurs, Kolk, Gelk, Magra, Marados, and Venger, who became the first five khans. [9][8][3] The centaurs saw disgust in their father's eyes and brutally killed Zaetar, and Theradras severely rebuked them for their actions. Fearing Cenarius's wrath, Theradras buried Zaetar's spirit in the great cavern where she once slept.
The centaur named this place Maraudon, and from then on, she regarded the cave as a sacred place. She also sealed her body and the body of her deceased love in her secret place. Influenced by the Old Gods, she used the energy of Zaetar's soul to turn her home into a nest of corruption and suffering.
Theradras was initially wary of the demon, but Vytarn, determined to prove his worth, created minions such as Noxxion and Razorlash to serve as servants to the princess and ease her loneliness.
In his youth, Ner'zhul often went on adventures with his people near Auchindoun. This brave orc was always full of curiosity and constantly explored unknown areas. His unique courage made him the only orc who dared to step into the mysterious gate of Auchindoun.
As the chieftain and shaman elder of the Shadowmoon clan, Ner'zhul not only enjoys a high reputation in orc society, but is also the leader of almost all orcs. He is highly respected for his special connection with the spirits, an ability that allows him to communicate with the spirits of his ancestors and gain their wisdom and guidance.
However, deep in Ner'zhul's heart, there was always a desire for a stronger power. He longed for a power he had never had before, a power that could change everything and control his fate.
One day, Ner'zhul was invited to attend the Kash'harg Festival in Nagrand. There, he suddenly received a warning from the spirit of his deceased wife, Rulkan. She told him that the Draenei were planning a conspiracy to destroy the orcs. A few months later, Rulkan introduced Ner'zhul to the so-called "great leader" Kil'jaeden. From then on, Kil'jaeden began to lure Ner'zhul to fight against the Draenei step by step.
Although Ner'zhul firmly believed that everything he did was to save his people, he gradually discovered that the ancestors who once maintained close contact with him no longer responded to his call. Not only that, even the elemental spirits seemed to be getting farther and farther away from him, which made him confused and uneasy. Could it be that he really took a wrong path?
With his excellent eloquence and leadership, Ner'zhul successfully convinced the remaining clans that they had received the revelation of their ancestors and must attack the Draenei settlements. As time went on, Ner'zhul had a deeper understanding of the Draenei, but his doubts also deepened.
He discovered that apart from his unique horns, clothing, and skin color, Kil'jaeden actually had striking similarities with the Draenei! Not only that, Kil'jaeden was also full of resentment towards Velen for not being able to become a saint. In order to find out the secrets behind all this, Ner'zhul decided to try to communicate with the ancestors in Oshu'gun, the "Mountain of Souls", hoping to get some clues and answers from them.
However, when he entered the mountain, he was horrified to find that the eyes of his ancestors were full of fear and disgust, as if he were a terrible monster. At this moment, the real Rulkan appeared and revealed the truth - it turned out that Kil'jaeden had been controlling Ner'zhul all along and using him to achieve his own ulterior motives!
After learning this cruel reality, Ner'zhul was determined to break free from the control of his demon master and no longer be manipulated by him. However, he never expected that Gul'dan, the apprentice who had always been following him and eager to gain his power, would secretly report his plan to resist Kil'jaeden to the evil demon master.
In recognition of his loyalty, Kil'jaeden placed Gul'dan on the throne that Ner'zhul once sat on, while Ner'zhul was completely deprived of all his rights and could only watch the orcs gradually degenerate into slaves who were full of blood thirst and extremely dependent on warlock magic. Faced with this situation, he felt powerless and could not stop the Shadow Council from becoming increasingly powerful. Although he knew all the secrets hidden behind this organization, he could not say a word.
Gul'dan began to become more and more arrogant. In his eyes, Ner'zhul, who had lost his power, posed no threat at all, so he acquiesced to allowing his former mentor to freely read the precious documents of the Shadow Council. It was through these books that Ner'zhul learned that Kil'jaeden was planning a conspiracy - to let the orcs drink the blood of Mannoroth!
However, Ner'zhul was no longer the same person he was before, and his current status was insignificant compared to Gul'dan's huge influence. So when he warned the chiefs, almost no one was willing to listen to him, with only one exception.
After listening to Ner'zhul's anonymous advice, Durotan of the Frostwolves refused to let his people drink the blood of Mannoroth, thus saving his clan from the corruption of the demon's blood. Unfortunately, Durotan and his wife Draka were the only ones who realized what Ner'zhul had done, and the secret was lost along with their deaths years later. To this day, no one would have thought that one of Azeroth's greatest enemies had worked hard to prevent the orcs from falling completely into damnation.
After being defeated in the thrilling Second War, the brave and fearless Alliance warriors worked together to suppress the enemy back to the cursed land. After a hard and arduous battle, they finally succeeded in destroying the Dark Portal, completely cutting off the channel for the invasion of evil forces.
On the other side of the Dark Portal, Draenor was also in chaos. The seriously injured Ner'zhul survived the earth-shattering explosion, but it took a long time to recover. In the past two years, fierce civil wars broke out between the clans of Draenor, and the entire continent was shrouded in flames of war.
At this time, the resourceful Talon Bloodfiend stood up and proposed to open a new portal to find more worlds for the tribe to conquer. He knew that only in this way could the tribe rise again and regain its former glory. So Talon searched everywhere and finally found Ner'zhul who was recovering from his injuries.
Facing Talon Bloodfiend who came to him, Ner'zhul had mixed feelings. On the one hand, he admired Talon's courage and wisdom; on the other hand, he also knew clearly that if the tribe wanted to be reborn, it would take great efforts. After hesitating again and again, Ner'zhul decided to accept Talon's request and once again shoulder the responsibility of leading the tribe.
As his body gradually recovered, Ner'zhul led his tribe to live quietly in the mysterious Shadowmoon Valley. Here, he often witnessed some strange death illusions, which may be foreshadowing his future fate. However, no matter what challenges and tests are waiting ahead, Ner'zhul is not afraid, because he firmly believes that as long as the tribe is united, they will be able to overcome any difficulties and create their own glorious era!
He painted his face into a white skull. When the undead Gorefiend found him, Ner'zhul was not too surprised. After a conversation, he agreed to help Gorefiend open the portal. In order to implement the plan smoothly, Gorefiend found several holy objects from Azeroth: the Skull of Gul'dan, the Book of Medivh, the Scepter of Sargeras and the Eye of Dalaran. In addition to the Skull of Gul'dan, the other three holy objects correspond to the three constellations of Draenor, and connecting them by some kind of celestial ritual can provide Ner'zhul with the power to open the portal.
The first item he obtained, the Skull of Gul'dan, gradually began to affect the old shaman, and the former apprentice communicated with Ner'zhul through his remaining consciousness. The old shaman began to care more and more about his own power and existence, rather than the interests of the tribe.
