“Human power is not only reflected in the flesh.” The cloaked traveler chuckled and waved the long staff in his hand. A bright light turned into a light net and pounced towards the shadow beast.

The Shadow Beast smiled contemptuously and twisted its body to easily avoid the attack, but it did not expect that the light net was as flexible as a living thing. It suddenly turned back in mid-air and entangled its legs, causing it to struggle in the air.

"The opportunity has come!" Tan Chen seized the opportunity, leaped into the air like lightning, and with a flash of sword light, pierced the heart of the shadow beast. However, when the tip of the sword was only a millimeter away from the target, a dark energy surged out and knocked him away.

"Tan Chen!" the young man shouted nervously. Just as he was about to rush over to support, he was grabbed by Tan Yue.

"Calm down, now is not the time to be impulsive." Tan Yue said in a deep voice, his eyes fixed on the shadow beast, as if looking for a flaw.

At this moment, a weak but firm voice sounded in Tan Yue's heart: "The real light is hidden in everyone's heart. Working together, we can be invincible."

It was the revelation left by the old man's phantom! Tan Yue suddenly realized and immediately exchanged glances with Tan Chen, the young man and the cloaked traveler. The four of them quickly formed a tight formation, each of them placed their palms on the shoulders of the person next to them and closed their eyes.

The onlookers looked at the scene in surprise, not understanding what they were doing, but a warm and firm power seemed to begin to permeate the air.

“Light and darkness are two sides of the same coin. When the light in our hearts gathers into a sea, any darkness will be exposed.” Tan Yue’s voice echoed above the ruins. As his words fell, dazzling light burst out from the four people. The light gradually gathered into a dragon of light, soaring into the sky.

The shadow beast was shocked by the sudden change and roared in fear. In the light, its huge figure gradually became blurred, and was finally completely swallowed up, leaving only tranquility and peace.

The light faded, and Tan Yue and the other two slowly opened their eyes. It seemed as if there was an invisible bond between them, connecting their hearts.

“We did it… The power of the Heart of Light is truly incredible.” The young man exclaimed in amazement. The initial fear was no longer in his eyes, replaced by growth and confidence.

"But the real challenge has just begun." The cloaked traveler looked into the distance, where more unknowns and tests were waiting for them.

"As long as we unite as one, there are no difficulties that we cannot overcome." Tan Yue brushed the dust off his hands, a confident smile on his face.

"Yes, for the light and the future, let's move forward together!" Tan Chen raised his sword, with the tip of the sword pointing at the dawn on the horizon.

The four of them set off on a new journey with their backs to the rising sun. Their stories will spread across the continent, inspiring everyone with a bright heart. And the unknown future is waiting for them to explore and conquer.

"What will we encounter next?" The boy looked at his friends with a little curiosity and more anticipation.

Tan Yue smiled and gave a meaningful answer: "No matter what kind of challenge it is, as long as there is light in your heart, the road ahead will no longer be dark. We are that light."

"Hey, have you heard? The miracle that happened in the ruins that day was real! Several young people joined forces to defeat the terrifying shadow beast!" At the market, a fruit vendor excitedly shared the latest news with the blacksmith next to him.

The blacksmith almost dropped the hammer in his hand when he heard this. "Are you serious? Who are those young men?"

“Who knows? But looking at them, they look like ordinary travelers, especially the young man. I heard that he was a child hiding behind others before.” The fruit vendor shook his head, his tone full of confusion and awe.

On the side, several young nobles in gorgeous clothes gathered together. One of them sneered and said, "They are just a few young boys. How big a wave can they make? I think it's just luck."

“That’s not true,” another noble girl retorted, “I saw them standing there with my own eyes. That kind of power cannot be explained by luck. Especially when they united, it was as if the whole world was cheering for them.”

On the other side of the street, an elderly librarian gently stroked the yellowed pages of a book and muttered to himself: "Is the ancient prophecy really going to come true? Where will the awakening of the Heart of Light lead us?"

In a tavern not far from the ruins, the conversation between several travelers attracted everyone's attention.

"I tell you, the light that day was more intoxicating than the strongest liquor in the world. I was there and saw it with my own eyes. Those four guys were simply gods from heaven!" A bearded man said excitedly, slapping the table.

"You know what, I really envy them. How great it would be if I could become a hero like that." The thin young man sitting opposite him had longing in his eyes.

In the corner, a masked traveler listened silently, a barely perceptible smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and he whispered softly: "The road of heroes is always full of thorns. I hope they can persevere to the end."

Just as everyone was immersed in their own thoughts, the door of the tavern was suddenly pushed open, and a cold wind blew in, bringing in an uninvited guest - a stranger in a black robe and with a gloomy face.

"Where are those young men who defeated the Shadow Beast you mentioned now?" His voice was low and hoarse, carrying an intimidating pressure that could not be ignored.

The tavern suddenly fell into silence, and all eyes were focused on the mysterious visitor.

The bearded traveler bravely asked back: "Who are you? What is your purpose in looking for them?"

The man in black robe sneered and did not answer. He just turned and left, leaving behind a disturbing sentence: "Tell them that the real battle has just begun. Darkness will not retreat easily unless... light is willing to pay the same price."

He disappeared out the door, leaving the room full of confusion and anxiety.

"This is really lively. It seems our story is far from over." The thin young man smiled bitterly, picked up the wine glass and drank it all in one gulp.

All of this was seen by a figure silently observing from a distance. It was the cloaked traveler. A complex light flashed in his eyes: "The embers of darkness are still burning, and the trial of the Heart of Light has just begun. Are we ready?"

The silence in the tavern was broken by a sudden thunderous applause. It turned out that a young bard stood up, holding a lute and smiling. "How can such a story be recorded without singing? Let me sing a song for you to commemorate those brave young people and the unknown challenges that are coming!"

"Beside the distant ruins, four brave men stood shoulder to shoulder.

The roar of the shadow beasts was tamed by their courage.
