The great abbot, Taoist Xingya!

Chen Yulou silently memorized the Taoist's name.

In the past, he lived in a remote corner of Xiangyin, practicing in seclusion. He only heard of two mountains in the world: Wudang and Longhu. The former was the number one fairy mountain in the world, and the latter was the ancestral home of Taoism.

Truly practice Taoism and enter the state, then travel around the world.

Only then will you realize that there are always people better than you.

There are blessed places, famous mountains and rivers. Even in this Dharma-Ending Age, there are still many people practicing cultivation.

The immortals live in seclusion in the mountains, while the great Taoists hide in the markets.

Not revealed to the world.

For example, Gui Yuan, the old Taoist priest in Yaowang Temple, who has been pounding medicinal stones all his life, travels back and forth in the mountains all year round to collect herbs, play chess with hermits in the mountains, and chat with pilgrims.

But a few people knew that he had been building his foundation for many years and was only one step away from condensing the golden elixir in the furnace fire of his sea of qi.

There is also the Lama temple that we saw on the way up the mountain that day.

The old monk had a kind face, and he rang the morning bell and evening drum, beat the wooden fish and chanted Buddhist scriptures. He was no different from the monks in the ancient temple at the foot of the mountain. However, when I met him in person, I realized that he had mastered the Buddhist teachings deeply and had already reached an extremely high level.

As the old saying goes, a single leaf blocks the view of the mountain.

In fact, it is because of the limitations of one's own strength that it is difficult to have a higher vision.

The Taoist Xingya in front of him now, his name sounds somewhat similar to that of Mingya in the Three Saints Temple in Zhongnan Mountain that day.

but……

The realms of the two people are vastly different, like heaven and earth.

Although Mingya is also the abbot, he has not practiced cultivation, let alone breaking through the realm and escaping from the mortal world. However, the aura of Taoist Xingya is unfathomable.

It is no worse than Master Gui Yuan.

Even slightly better.

In the Qi Sea, the shape of a pill can be seen.

In other words, he has at least reached the half-step golden elixir realm.

He is definitely the person with the highest cultivation level he has ever seen since he came down the mountain and entered the secular world.

"I have come here without permission, please don't blame me, Master."

In just a blink of an eye.

Chen Yulou had already made a judgment in his mind.

Looking at the pilgrims around him, who all looked unfamiliar with him and just bowed subconsciously to him, it was clear that Master Xingya probably spent most of his time in seclusion in the back mountains practicing cultivation.

He would never show up easily on weekdays.

It’s normal actually.

After all, at his level, he could enter into meditation and seclusion for days at a time, eating qi and drinking dew, almost becoming an immortal. Once he entered the golden elixir stage, he would live a hundred years from then on. Why would he bother about worldly affairs?

That is, Chen Yulou and the others.

He has already reached such a great realm, yet he is still wandering around.

I haven't even seen a few real practitioners.

Looking at the world as a whole, it is considered rare.

If it were other monks of the same level, they would at least hand in a visiting card before paying homage to the mountain, and only go up the mountain to enter the monastery after getting a reply. How could they be so casual?

Even martial artists have to post a message before fighting.

That is to say, Taoist Xingya has profound Taoist practice and did not care about such a small matter, otherwise it would be difficult to explain.

Chen Yulou also reacted now.

He immediately clasped his hands together and explained softly.

"It doesn't matter."

"I haven't come down the mountain for many years. If you hadn't come up the mountain today, I wouldn't have known that the world has changed so much..."

Hear this.

Taoist Xingya just shook his head.

Chen Yulou was amazed in his heart, and so was he.

The people in front of him were so young, seemingly no more than thirty years old, but the aura they exuded was majestic and astonishing, like a mountain.

In a trance.

Taoist Xingya suddenly felt that he might have taken the wrong path in his pursuit of spiritual practice in seclusion.

Working in isolation is like covering your eyes with a dark scarf.

Otherwise, in just a few decades, he would have known nothing about the emergence of such a talented young man in the world.

Even the other party has introduced himself.

He still had no impression.

He knew Xiangyin, a place surrounded by three rivers and four lakes, close to the Dongting Lake and bordering western Hunan. When he was young, he went to Longhu Mountain with his master to pay homage to the Heavenly Master of that generation. He once crossed the Dongting Lake by ferry and walked along the Yuan River through the city once.

But he had never heard of any great Taoist practitioner in Xiangyin.

In other words, there are many famous mountains in the territory.

As for Partridge Whistle, the name sounds like a nickname in the underworld, and the aura he carries is similar. There is a hint of murderous intent between his brows.

His eyes were fierce, with murderous intent hidden in their opening and closing.

But he was wearing Taoist robes and had a Taoist bun, just like a Taoist.

This made him a little confused.

Looking at the remaining few people, they are all leaders in the world, outstanding people, and not ordinary people.

Kunlun, in particular, is almost like the Six Dings and Six Jias in golden armor and black robes, under the command of the Great Emperor Zhenwu, as described in the Taoist legend.

"Real people are joking."

"Chen and his group came uninvited, which is already impolite."

Hear the hidden meaning in his words.

Chen Yulou also looked helpless.

This scene is so similar to the trip to Mount Zhongnan that day.

Master Guiyuan and Master Zhaohu both reacted like this when they saw them.

But how could they possibly have imagined it?

The people in front of me are all like hanging on the wall.

Let’s not talk about Chen Yulou, let’s just talk about Kunlun. He was abandoned in Yandang Mountain since he was a child. He was no different from a savage and survived on berries and prey.

Targeted by hunters and surrounded by bandits.

Surprisingly, we can always get along peacefully.

When he was at his wits' end, he would meet Chen Yulou, bring him back to Chenjiazhuang from the deep mountains and forests, and treat him as a brother and confidant.

Before the Pingshan Tomb is opened, he is destined to die in it.

Chen Yu traveled through time again and changed his fate with his own strength. Not only did he not repeat the path in the original work, but he has now become one of the few martial arts masters in the world.

He even began to turn to Buddhism again.

With time, it is only a matter of time before we overcome the challenge.

Even if Taoist Xingya and his companions were extremely talented and had extraordinary physiques, they could not be compared with these bunch of hangers-on. Even if they practiced in seclusion and accumulated a lot of experience, it would be no match for them swallowing a golden pill and crossing the sky bridge on the top of the Ancestral Dragon.

"All right."

"Don't say that."

"You all have come from afar, and entering my Jianfu Palace is fate."

A trace of sadness flashed across the clear eyes of the old Taoist walking on the cliff. Perhaps he thought that he had been sitting in the mountains for most of his life and was not as good as those young men. He could not hide his disappointment in his heart.

However, he was a highly accomplished cultivator after all, so this emotion was only fleeting.

My mood calmed down again.

He waved the dustpan in his hand and made a gesture of invitation.

"Please follow me to my residence in the back mountain and sit for a while."

"Okay, Senior, I dare not refuse your invitation."

Chen Yulou agreed immediately.

Jianfu Palace was first built in the 12th year of Kaiyuan in the Tang Dynasty. It was named Zhangren Temple at that time. It is more than a thousand years old. It was originally the place where Ning Fengzi practiced Taoism and lived in seclusion.

It was not until the Song Dynasty that the Jianfu Palace was celebrated.

However, due to wars, military disasters, and banditry throughout the ages, the ancient temple was almost destroyed. The hall they saw now was renovated on the original site during the Guangxu period.

But even so.

Most of the monuments are still well preserved.

Following the Taoist priest Xingya, the group walked around the front hall and soon the noise died down. The pilgrims who went up the mountain to burn incense and pray to the gods were only allowed to enter the hall from the front and back.

As for the back mountain.

It is where the monks in the temple live.

After passing two main halls, Taoist Xingya showed no intention of stopping and led everyone through a crescent-shaped door with black tiles and white walls.

A mysterious and pure air suddenly came over me.

Green pines and cypresses, waterfalls and magical springs.

A stone bridge stretches between two mountain peaks, with clouds and mist rolling beneath it, and faint flashes of light visible. On the other side of the stone bridge, an attic stands between the cliffs.

"This……"

"Oh my god, no wonder it's called the Immortal City, a paradise on earth."

"Such a strong spiritual energy. I'm afraid that one day of cultivation in this place will be equivalent to ten days of practice."

This was the first time for the group to come to such a cave.

It is countless times better than the caves in Zhongnan Mountain.

The abundance of spiritual energy floating between heaven and earth can be felt even by Kunlun and Yang Fang, who have just started practicing.

For a moment, everyone's face was filled with shock, and they looked around in amazement.

I just feel that this place is almost no different from the immortal palace described by storytellers in novels.

Different from their pure amazement.

Chen Yulou saw more.

In addition to the amazing spiritual energy between the cloud bridges, the most amazing thing was that he could sense a faint but extremely familiar aura.

It was the Xuande Cave Heaven that flashed by on that day on the Baxian Terrace.

and so……

It was no coincidence that Ning Fengzi chose to practice Taoism here.

Perhaps it’s because I found the door to the cave.

From this perspective, it is not surprising that Taoist Xingya was able to break through the fake elixir and was only one step away from refining the golden elixir.

The cave is hidden outside the cave.

Even if you haven't entered.

Just being able to get a little bit of the spiritual energy and practicing it is an unimaginable opportunity.

“What a long couplet.”

"This must be several hundred words, right?"

Just as he was looking at the clouds and mist, searching for traces of the cave, he suddenly heard an exclamation in his ears.

Chen Yulou subconsciously averted his gaze.

Following the sight of several people.

Only then did I see that on the stone walls on both sides of the cliff at the bridge head, one on the left and one on the right, there stood a towering pillar with an extremely shocking couplet engraved on it.

Tracing back to the Minfu area, Yu's footprints are connected to Hengxiang in the south, Qinlong in the north, Zangwei in the west, and Kuiwu in the east...

Since the Xuantan worship of Ningfeng: Han Biao Li Yi, Jin Zhu Fan Xian, Tang Yin Xue Chang, Song Zheng Zhang Yu...

A cursory sweep.

This couplet has a total of 394 characters.

Chen Yulou recited it silently in his mind, and felt that it was magnificent and clearly described the thousands of years of heritage of Qingcheng Mountain.

Just now, all his thoughts were on the paradise.

I had never realized that there was such an amazing ancient monument outside the Yunqiao Stone Corridor.

He seemed to be aware of the crowd's surprise.

Holding a dustpan in one hand and with the other hand behind his back, the old Taoist priest with long hair and white beard, wearing a green robe and a scarf, turned around and said with a faint smile.

"This is a unique feature of Qingcheng Mountain."

"It is also one of the famous sights of my Jianfu Palace."

Chen Yulou nodded.

No one knew who had written this couplet, but from ancient times to the present, he had never heard of any couplet with more words than this one. Moreover, the parallelism was neat and the meaning of the sentences was smooth, which was rare throughout history.

The most important thing is that each sentence and each scene is in line with the principle of Taoism and nature, and the charm is natural and perfect.

No wonder even Taoist Xingya couldn't hide his pride when he talked about it.

"The place ahead is where the old Taoist practices. Please follow me."

Didn't stop too much.

After a brief chat, Xingya led a few people across the cloud bridge and walked towards the ancient pavilion.

The attic is not very big.

Not even a name.

It seems to be completely incomparable with Laojun Pavilion on Qingcheng Mountain.

But its advantage is that it is secluded and away from the noise.

If herbalists or hunters from the foot of the mountain accidentally come here, they will probably suspect that this is the place where the immortals on the mountain live.

He took a few people into the building.

It was extremely simple. Apart from a stone bed, there was only a low table, a few cushions, and some of his collection of ancient books, Taoist scriptures, writing brushes, ink, paper, inkstone, and tea sets.

It is hard to imagine that this is the residence of the abbot of Jianfu Palace.

but……

If his identity was changed to that of a Great Immortal at the Half-Step Golden Core Realm, this place could be considered an immortal cave.

Didn't he just stare at Partridge Whistle and the old foreign brother?

Such a great place.

That is the Taoist sect that has been passed down for thousands of years. Otherwise, where can we find the second one?

It had long been occupied by their ancestors.

The ten major caves, the thirty-six minor caves, the seventy-two blessed places, all the places with names are without exception.

Do you really think that a mountain is famous not because of its height but because of the immortals there?

First of all, there must be famous mountains and rivers, so that they can attract great Taoists to live in seclusion there to practice and preach.

Taoist Xingya picked up the boiling water by himself.

He took out another box of wild tea.

Make a cup for each of you.

There are no signs of boys or disciples here. They are probably practicing Buddhism on weekdays and don't want to be disturbed.

But how many people can have this state of mind?

Even if it was Chen Yulou, if he was asked to give up his current comfortable life and suddenly return to a life like a savage, he would find it difficult to do so.

Do you really think you can make a living by traveling around the world and eating mist and drinking dew?

It's the mountain-moving tradition.

Although they claimed that they only wanted the Danzhu when they robbed tombs, for thousands of years, the tribesmen have been searching for the whereabouts of the Zhuchenzhu and have not engaged in any production. Do they really think that they can feed the entire tribe just by relying on the women growing a few acres of land in the village?

Only a two or three year old child would believe such words.

Just like Yang Fang.

It has been seven or eight years since I came down the mountain. I have been traveling around and looking for people to learn from.

Can you still jump around without money in your pocket?

Not to mention that practicing martial arts is a very expensive endeavor.

Who would have known that when this kid was not learning martial arts, he was either hunting for dragons and tombs or robbing the rich to help the poor.

Otherwise, I would have starved to death along the way, let alone traveling all over the country.

Thinking wildly.

Chen Yulou picked up the teacup and took a sip.

only……

As soon as the tea entered the stomach, it quickly turned into a hot current, flowing along the limbs and meridians, making the whole body transparent and the spiritual energy in the sea of qi increased a little.

"Spiritual tea?!"

The wild tea that Taoist Xingya mentioned actually contains such rich spiritual energy.

Even for him, it was the first time he encountered it.

Looking down, the tea leaves in the clear and transparent tea soup are green and tender, like the tongue of a bird.

"Old Immortal, this... is Qingcheng Queshe?"

He seemed to have thought of something and couldn't help but raised his eyebrows and asked.

Upon hearing this, Taoist Xingya was surprised.

"My fellow Taoist, you have good eyesight. This is indeed the sparrow tongue planted in Zhangren Peak."

Seeing his confirmation, Chen Yulou finally understood.

Qingcheng Mountain has been famous for its Taoist tea since ancient times. Lu Yu made a special record of Qingcheng Mountain tea in the Classic of Tea. In addition to Queshe, there are four other types: Pianjia, Bird's Beak, Mai Ke and Cicada Wing.

They are all the best loose tea.

Among them, sparrow tongue and cicada wings are the most popular.

It has even been regarded as a top-notch product by successive generations.

He had only seen it in books, but he didn't expect to see it again when he entered the temple today.

Listen to the words of the two.

The four people sitting around the fire at this moment understood very well that this seemingly ordinary so-called wild tea was actually a rare spiritual creature in the world.

I didn't dare to hesitate at that moment.

One by one, they picked up the teacup and sipped it carefully.

As the tea flows into the stomach.

The group soon noticed the changes in their bodies.

The lower the realm, the stronger the changes felt.

Kunlun and Yang Fang, in particular, felt at this moment that in their dantian, three inches below their abdomen, there seemed to be a furnace rising up, with fire flowing and aura contained.

"It seems that the two young friends have found an opportunity."

"Go upstairs, find a cushion, and enter a state of meditation. Who knows, you may be able to cross the Dragon Gate!"
