Hogwarts: Oops, I'm Voldemort

Chapter 222 Return from Time (page 12)

Cassandra kicked the door open, and the three of them walked in side by side.

What came into view was a circular room with a dozen identical black doors without markings or handles.

The doors are spaced apart from each other, as if embedded in the surrounding black walls.

"If you include the one that was kicked away just now, there are exactly twelve doors." Cedric said.

"Okay, forget about that door!" Kassandra replied angrily. The door she kicked away is still lying on the black marble floor, and candles with blue flames flicker on the wall. The weak candlelight made the floor look like a puddle of black water.

The door looked like a boat floating in the water.

Perhaps because there was one missing door, the circular hall did not rotate this time.

"I think the treasure should be hidden in the room." Fleur said.

In fact, she didn't need to say it. There was nothing in front of her except the door, and the treasures could only be in different rooms.

"We don't have much time, let's search separately." Cedric raised his wand and pistol and reminded, "I don't know what dangers I will encounter, so it's best to pick up the wand."

Kassandra didn't say anything, but she walked toward a door vigorously.

"Squeak-"

This time it was easy to push away.

As soon as she opened the door, a smell that had been trapped for many years hit her face. The smell of dampness and dust got into her nose, making Cassandra feel a little uncomfortable.

She didn't walk in rashly, but took a look inside first. It was pitch dark inside.

"Fluorescence."

She raised her wand, and when the light on the tip of the wand lit up, the room seemed to be filled with sparks at the same moment. Countless light points flickered in the darkness, like a whole starry sky.

"Crystal ball?"

Cassandra was stunned for a moment and immediately knew that this was the prophecy hall that Cyrus had told her about.

The attitudes of wizards towards prophecies are very extreme. Some people flock to them and believe them deeply, while others sneer at them. This is related to the uneven level of prophets in the magic world.

Most of the prophets in this world today are magic sticks who have gained fame and reputation. Perhaps their ancestors did have some glory, but until now, their ability to predict has been almost exhausted.

Cassandra didn't care much about the prophecy. She walked into the room, stepping on thick dust under her feet, making her originally white socks stained with dirt. But she didn't pay much attention, but looked around cautiously while walking inside.

The huge shelves are dozens of meters high, and even if you raise your head, you can't see the top. However, shelves like this are lined up in rows here, and they are countless, not to mention the number of prophecy balls.

She lit her wand and walked all the way inside. The dim doorway was getting farther and farther away from her, like a train moving away from the entrance of the tunnel.

Cassandra became more and more cautious, but unexpectedly, the Department of Mysteries seemed to have no trap at all.

But thinking about it, in such an important place, it would be terrible if something went wrong because of the level setting.

"Human signs revealed."

Kassandra cast a spell, and golden footprints began to extend from her feet, jumping into the darkness step by step. She followed the footsteps, and not long after, she found Harry Potter, who was tied up and unconscious in the maze-like Prophecy Hall.

"Harry Potter?"

Cassandra was stunned for a moment, with an expression of confusion and a bit of disgust on her face.

It was said to be a treasure, so why did Harry Potter suddenly appear?

"Whose treasure will be Harry Potter?" The shadow of Cyrus flashed through Cassandra's mind, and she couldn't help but shudder...

She shook her head vigorously to get this terrible thought out of her mind: "Even if it's Ginny Weasley or Hermione Granger, I think it's normal. How could it be Harry Potter!"

She admitted that Cyrus sometimes gave Harry special treatment, but that was because of the relationship between Harry and Voldemort. The two of them are indeed good friends, but they are not enough to be called treasures.

"If I give up on the second project, maybe the treasure will be mine." Cassandra thought, but she had a sudden idea and began to be curious about her own treasure.

If all the treasures were students, Cassandra couldn't think of anyone worth saving.

But she didn't think much about it, it was just a game.

"It's better to wake him up first."

Cassandra pointed her wand at Harry: "Clear as spring water."

A stream of cold water was summoned by her, and the small wand seemed to have turned into a water pipe. It emerged from the tip of the wand, poured on Harry's head, and flowed into his clothes.

The unconscious Harry shuddered and woke up immediately.

"Cassandra?" He looked surprised.

"What are you doing, don't want to see me?" Cassandra put away her wand coldly.

"No, I just-" Harry stretched out his head and looked around, "I just thought Professor Dumbledore was coming to save me."

"Are you his treasure?" Cassandra asked back, "That's quite reasonable, but do you know what my treasure and Cyrus's treasure are?"

Harry nodded. He first asked Cassandra to untie him, then shook the water off his body and lit a fire to keep warm: "Professor McGonagall asked everyone who was treated as a treasure to go to the office. .Your treasure is Hermione, and Cyrus’s treasure is Ginny.”

"Hermione Granger?"

This is really a treasure to make up for.

Cassandra thought to herself.

"So, where is she?"

"I don't know, I passed out very early." Harry shook his head and said, after warming himself by the fire for a while, he felt a lot more comfortable, "I thought the professor would find me first..."

"Cyrus and that Grindelwald got into a fight." Cassandra said while lowering her head to study the footprints. "Dumbledore sent us down first——"

"you?"

"And Digory and Delacour," Cassandra raised her head, "Let's go, I think there should be no one else in the prophecy hall."

The two of them walked out together. When leaving the Prophecy Hall, they happened to see Cedric carrying the unconscious Zhang Qiu out, and Harry almost suffocated.

"Hey, Harry!" Cedric greeted Harry happily, "I found my treasure!"

"Yeah..." Harry said with great discomfort. He kept looking at Zhang Qiu, who was being carried by Cedric, and couldn't look away at all.

"Where's the Veela?" Cassandra asked.

As soon as Cassandra finished speaking, Fleur emerged from a certain room and replied in a bad tone, "Here she is!"

Several people looked over and immediately saw Fleur holding Hermione with one hand and Ginny with the other as she walked out with difficulty.

"These two girls were lying together, so I took them out."
