Marvel's Spider-Man: Web of Destiny

Chapter 8 Iron Man’s “Home Visit”

after an hour.

Ding dong.

Doorbell rang.

Opening the door, a handsome middle-aged man in a suit appeared at the door.

"Hello, Mr. Parker," Tony Stark was the first to say hello with a smile. He looked very friendly, not as aloof as expected, nor as aggressive and sinister as the capitalists in Shadow Spider-Man's impression.

"Hello, Mr. Stark," Peter was stunned for a moment, then nodded, stepped aside, and invited Tony Stark to come in.

Tony Stark glanced at Peter in surprise.

He has been paying attention to Peter for more than a day or two. He noticed his existence probably when Peter gained powers and began to put on a homemade baby suit and start being the street hero Spider Boy.

Then it was easy to find the true identity behind Spider Boy's mask.

After collecting Peter's identity information and judging that what Peter did was just a superhero act by a teenager who admired superheroes and wanted to become a superhero, he didn't pay too much attention to it.

He even helped Peter erase some traces to prevent him from being targeted by some people and causing unnecessary trouble.

Therefore, although he did not pay special attention to it, he had always paid attention to collecting information about Peter.

Among the impressions he received about Peter from many pieces of information, there was no such thing as "calm".

In fact, Tony Stark describes Peter as: childish.

Not even immature.

"How are you doing recently?" Tony Stark asked confusedly after looking at Peter carefully.

"Uh, that's fine, Mr. Stark," Peter said, "My name is Peter, you can just call me by my name."

"Okay, Peter, my name is Tony," Tony Stark patted Peter on the shoulder, "Wow, what a solid guy."

"Mr. Stark, please come in and sit down and talk," Aunt May invited at the right time.

Peter also made a gesture of invitation again.

Tony Stark walked into the house, looked around the living room for a while, and sat on the sofa.

Aunt May went to make tea and Peter sat down next to Tony Stark.

"Mr. Stark"

"Call me Tony."

"Okay, Tony, then, why did you come to me?" Peter asked in a low voice.

Tony looked at Peter carefully: "It seems you have already made a guess."

Peter nodded slightly: "Sokovia Accords?"

He didn't ask silly questions like why this agreement was related to him or why Iron Man knew his identity.

In his previous speculation, as long as Iron Man came in person, all of this would have been based on him knowing his identity.

"Yes, not entirely," Tony looked at Peter with some surprise and whispered, "I hope you can sign the agreement, but this time, I mainly need your help."

"Need me" Peter was stunned. Did he really guess right? Because of Captain America's rebellion, Iron Man needed help to deal with them?

"Ahem," before Peter could ask the next words, Tony coughed lightly and raised his voice, "I have already approved the September fund, so, Peter, when can you be ready? We can Let’s talk about cooperation.”

"September Fund? Cooperation?" Aunt Mei walked out of the kitchen with tea and snacks prepared in advance.

"Uh, I'm sorry, Aunt May, I do." Peter hesitated, knowing that this was Iron Man's excuse to hide his identity from others.

Tony looked at Aunt May, stood up and took some things from her hand, and smiled: "Peter is a very good young man, and I look forward to working with him."

"Actually, I'm looking forward to cooperating with you, Mr. Stark," Peter said in a solemn tone, even changing his title.

From Aunt May's perspective, it was about the September Fund and funding. It was probably her nephew Peter who applied for a fund, and the fund provider was the Stark Group or something like that.

In fact, in Peter and Tony's case, Peter's words meant that he agreed to sign the "Sokovia Accords."

"Mr. Stark, can we discuss the cooperation content in detail?" Peter said.

Tony smiled slightly: "Of course, Mr. Parker."

"Aunt May." Peter looked at Aunt May.

Aunt Mei clenched her fists to cheer him up and mouthed: "Come on!"

"Ok!"

Peter and Tony got up and walked to Peter's room.

"What is this, retro technology?" As soon as he entered the room, Tony was attracted by a big-ass desktop computer on the table in the room.

Peter glanced at it. It was indeed a computer. He found a bunch of parts from the scrap recycling bin and assembled it himself. It was mainly used to debug the spider web launcher, so he made a lot of interfaces on the back of the computer to make it look like Somewhat bloated.

"Actually, it's quite retro." Peter felt a little embarrassed when his idol saw these things.

Tony snickered, but he could finally find some of the expressions he should have at his age from this pretentious little kid.

Yes, he just thought about it carefully and felt that Peter was just pretending to be serious.

After all, before coming today, according to his information, Peter was still the childish kid.

How can people suddenly grow up overnight?

Even if there is, it must be a major turning point in life.

But everything about Peter was calm and no different from before. Where did the "ripening" conditions come from?

"Although you seem to have admitted it, I still want to confirm that the person wandering the street in baby pajamas is you, right, Peter." Tony took out his phone and clicked on a video.

"Yes, it's me, but those are not baby pajamas, those are my battle clothes, just like your steel armor!"

"You call this a battle suit? Hahaha!" Tony slapped his legs and laughed.

Peter looked at him with some annoyance.

"Ahem, I didn't mean to laugh at you," Tony said seriously and apologized, "Haha, but I couldn't help it."

"..." Peter said helplessly, "Tony, I think we can forget about the baby sleeping, bah, the suit, and talk about the Sokovia Agreement and what you want me to help with. I think this is The real purpose of your coming.”

"Well, yes, the Sokovia Accords are." Tony told Peter the general content of the "Sokovia Accords". After all, this was the prerequisite for his joining.

Peter also wanted to know the full extent of the agreement.

Although he also believes that these people with superpowers need to have a certain degree of control, he will not be able to accept it if the control is too strong.

Moreover, influenced by the experience of Shadow Spider-Man, he does not have high hopes for the integrity of those in power.

He didn't want to become someone else's profit-making tool.
