Ultimately, after their guilt was confirmed, the four servants were quickly executed, but Elizabeth herself was not found guilty and was placed under house arrest in the city of Chahedis until her death.

Because there were many doubts during the trial of this case, there are many different opinions in later generations. The mainstream view now is that after Elizabeth lost her husband, her huge property was coveted and eventually this case was planned against her.

But most importantly, this case gave rise to countless folk tales in the 18th and 19th centuries, the most common theme of these works being the Countess bathing in the blood of her victims in order to maintain her beauty or youth.

The earliest source of this statement comes from the book "Tragic History" written by Laszlo Tulloch in 1729. Since then, legends such as "Blood Countess" and "Vampire Countess" have become deeply rooted in people's hearts and have been used in countless derivative works.

I was so engrossed in Black Myth today that I had no mood to write, so I just wrote a short chapter to show my appreciation.
