The world begins with shameless people

Chapter 554 Mickey vs Ian, Fiona vs Veronica

The Milkovich family.

Ian woke up, opened his eyes, and looked around blankly for a long time before he recognized the place. Then he stretched and sat up.

Sitting on the sofa in the living room, he smoked who knows how many cigarettes in the whole morning, making the living room full of smoke. When he heard the noise, he immediately turned his head.

As soon as he saw Ian, Mickey stood up excitedly and rushed to Ian, "Ian, are you okay?"

Ian's expression was calm, "I'm fine. I slept very comfortably."

Faced with Ian's calmness, Mickey, who had no experience in love and even had little experience in socializing with others, didn't know what to say.

Ian looked at Mickey calmly and waited for a few seconds, "Is there any hot water?"

Mickey nodded.

"I'm going to take a shower," Ian said, getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom.

Mickey stood beside the bed in a daze, watching Ian leave. He raised his hand and wiped his face fiercely, then he spoke again, "What do you want to eat for lunch? I'll go buy it."

Ian said without even turning his head, "Pizza, I suddenly want to eat pizza."

"Okay," Mickey answered decisively, as he could handle such a simple matter. Then he went to the living room to find the pizza shop's number and made a call.

Time flies.

After taking a shower, Ian sat opposite Mickey, still looking at him calmly.

Mickey felt uncomfortable being stared at, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"You're not the same as I remember you," Ian said quietly.

Mickey was stunned, "You too."

"I've gotten better," Ian said with certainty.

Mickey was speechless: “….”

"Is there any coffee?" Ian suddenly changed the subject and asked.

Mickey couldn't keep up with Ian's train of thought. He was stunned for a moment and nodded, "In the kitchen."

Ian stood up and walked to the kitchen, "Can you take me to get my luggage later?"

"Okay," Mickey said without hesitation.

Didn't have to wait too long.

The pizza was delivered.

Ian ate and drank beer very comfortably, as if this was his home.

Mickey felt really uncomfortable and worried when he saw Ian like this.

Worried and hesitant for a long time, Mickey couldn't help but asked, "Ian, are you still going to work at that club tonight?"

"Of course, that's my job," Ian responded.

"Don't go there, it's a mess and it's not good for you," Mickey said sadly.

Ian heard it and suddenly smiled at Mickey, "If I don't work there, will you support me?"

Mickey suddenly fell silent after hearing the words.

The fact is, Mickey is still not ready to come out as gay, but he still wants to be with Ian.

Seeing Mickey's reaction, Ian knew the answer and smiled again, "If you don't support me, I still have to go to work."

"....." Mickey gritted his teeth, one second, two seconds, and then he made up his mind, "I will support you. The money I earn is enough for both of us to live!"

If it were in the past, Ian would be very happy to hear this.

But, today is different from the past.

When Ian heard this, he shook his head and said, "You hesitated. I don't need you like this. When you stop hesitating and have the courage to be yourself, we can talk about this topic again."

Mickey: “…..”

Mickey really didn't know what to say, and didn't understand why Ian said that when he had already given it his all.

"Ian, I..." Mickey found his voice, although he didn't know what to say.

Ian smiled and shook his head. “It’s okay. No need to say anything. You are you and I am me. I don’t need anyone now. Don’t say anything.”

Mickey was speechless: “….”

2113 North Wallace Street.

After getting out of the car and saying goodbye to Mike, Fiona hurried into the house.

Carol was still cleaning up. When she saw Fiona, she didn't have any objection and just greeted her.

Fiona was in a bad mood because of her previous suspicion, "Hi, Carol."

After giving the response, Fiona turned her head and quickly looked around the first floor. "Jesus, everything has been stolen."

Carol got angry when this was mentioned. "Yeah! These bastards didn't spare anything. They even stole the sofa. Are they still human? These bastards should all die in the stinking ditch."

Listen to this.

Fiona couldn't help feeling mixed emotions in her heart, and her expression changed uncontrollably.

There is no other reason.

They have done this kind of thing... Besides that, they used to steal things.

Carol's scolding was equivalent to scolding them as well.

Then, she couldn't refute it.

So Fiona had to take a deep breath silently and change the subject, "Where's Veronica?"

"Upstairs. He's exhausted. He's probably asleep," Carol replied distressedly.

"Then I'll go upstairs and take a look. If he's asleep, I'll come down." After saying this, Fiona quickly went upstairs.

Veronica was lying on the bed. She was really sleepy and tired. She wanted to have a good sleep very much. Unfortunately, as soon as she closed her eyes, she could not help but feel like she was back in the temporary prison of the police station. She felt scared and even had difficulty breathing.

Therefore, at this moment, Veronica still had her eyes open, heard the noise downstairs, and knew that Fiona was coming.

Because she knew this, Veronica felt very complicated and was not sure whether she should talk to Fiona.

Fiona moved quickly. In a blink of an eye, she was at Veronica's door. She raised her hand and knocked on the door, and asked softly, "Veronica, are you asleep?"

Listening to Fiona's voice, Veronica was silent for a moment, and decided to listen to what Fiona had to say, so she responded, "Not yet, come in."

Fiona opened the door and walked in, seeing Veronica's haggard appearance. Although an hour had passed and Veronica had recovered a little, Fiona was still frightened, "Jesus, Veronica, you look so ugly!"

Veronica sneered, "I've been locked up for so long, how can I look good?"

"I've been locked up too..." Fiona habitually wanted to pull the blame onto herself, but when she realized it was inappropriate, she stopped in a hurry, "It doesn't matter, Wei, are you okay?"

"I'm back, I'll be fine," Veronica replied without any emotion, "Why are you here? Aren't you playing with Mike?"

This tone, this attitude...

Fiona was not one to be offended by such an act, but she still held back. "Wei, I'm sorry. I didn't know you could come out this morning. I planned to go to the police station at noon to wait for you."

"No one informed me that you were coming out. If I had known, I would definitely have gone to pick you up."

Speaking of which...

Veronica felt that if she continued to hold on, it would seem that she was wrong, so she let go and said, “Sorry, I’m not in a good state right now.”

Fiona shook her head and sat down on the bed, "It's okay, Wei, I've been there, I know how uncomfortable it is to be locked up... It'll be okay, I promise."

Veronica nodded, "I hope so."

The two chatted for a while, cursing the police, Tony, and damn Dylan.

Done.

Fiona felt that the time was right, and pretended to ask naturally, "Wei, your house was robbed... You don't think it has anything to do with us, do you?"
