Hogwarts: Atypical Slytherin

Chapter 133 Dumbledore

She returned to the dormitory, and the feeling of surviving the disaster still remained in her mind, making Clooney's head pound.

She didn't sleep long, so she sat by the window. There were fish swimming outside that she couldn't see clearly.

"So the Chamber of Secrets is real." She thought, "There is a basilisk walking around in the school - if you are seen by the basilisk, you will die, but I did not die. The first Mrs. Norris was petrified... .But if being seen by a basilisk will turn you to stone...then how could Peeves say that he saved my life..."

"There must be some triggering conditions that have not been discovered." She felt like her head was in a mess. "Will Professor Dumbledore know about this? Peeves knows, and so does Professor Binns - although he Insist that it is just a legend. Could Mr. Dumbledore not know about this?"

The only thing that was obvious was that, whether Dumbledore knew about it or not, she had to tell him: the basilisk was too dangerous to protect whoever encountered him next time, and not everyone was so lucky as to happen upon it everywhere. Peeves's wandering around.

She pursed her lips, then turned around and walked towards the principal's office.

But coincidentally, he also happened to be coming down the stairs. Professor McGonagall was next to him.

"Miss Albert?" McGonagall never thought that this well-behaved student would do such an upright night out. She certainly believed that she was excused. "Is there anything wrong with not sleeping so late? ?”

"Yes, Professor." She nodded to Professor McGonagall and turned her gaze back to Dumbledore.

Dumbledore was also looking at her with a strange expression. He doesn't seem happy to see her: of course! She doesn't mean that people have to be happy to see her! But there was a strange atmosphere on Dumbledore's face, as if seeing her made him a little surprised, a little confused, and a little... suspicious.

She felt particularly awkward. When those sea-blue eyes were no longer full of warmth and trust, they actually looked particularly cold. This left her speechless.

But soon, so fast that Claudine felt that the chill was her sudden illusion, Dumbledore's warm gaze came over again, and he said affectionately: "What's the matter? Claudius?"

"Sir..." She swallowed, suddenly realizing that this was not a good address, "I mean, Professor Dumbledore."

"There is a basilisk in the school," she said. "I think we need to ask someone to catch it first, otherwise it will be too dangerous."

"Oh, basilisk?" Dumbledore pushed his eyes, his expression became much more serious, "How did you know, Lawney?"

"Because I met him..." she said, "although nothing happened."

"You met a basilisk?!" Professor McGonagall's reaction was bigger. She pulled Clooney to her side, "Are you not hurt?"

She subconsciously looked at Dumbledore again, but Dumbledore just frowned and looked at her with his head tilted, as if he didn't show anything.

"No." She turned her head back, "I met Peeves and he saved my life."

"Oh my God...!" Professor McGonagall complained to Dumbledore, "I should have thought of that!!!"

"The secret room has been opened again!"

"Has the Chamber of Secrets ever been opened?" Clowney asked.

Professor McGonagall nodded to her and turned her inquiring eyes to Dumbledore.

"Ah, that's right," Dumbledore continued, "but the question is, who?"

He looked at her again with a blank and scrutinizing look.
