Hogwarts: Atypical Slytherin

Chapter 106 Harry’s Confinement

Although Clowney defended Lockhart's precarious reputation with the younger children in what was not a dispute, she still didn't look like the teacher's fan at all.

Lockhart couldn't catch her, and who, faced with the opportunity to associate with a famous and promising person with real talent and knowledge, would sit back and let her slip away?

"So, Harry, you seem to have a good relationship with her?" The radiant professor shone even in the dark, like his flashy wizard robes.

On Saturday night, Harry had to listen to Lockhart's boasts while helping him write the so-called "fan letters" without stopping. The cunning professor's constant praise and condescending advice were occasionally interspersed with various questions about Clooney's private life.

He said after a while: "Harry, celebrities must have the airs of a celebrity, and you can't just give your signature out casually."

After a while, he asked again: "I heard that Miss Albert and Severus have a very good relationship. Did they study the new usage and anesthetic effects of mandrake together?"

Harry couldn't even remember what he answered. He could only answer questions he didn't listen to in his head.

"Lockhart is really a fool." He thought bitterly. "I can't find anything worthy of respect in his behavior-at least for now."

Time passed by minute by minute, and the time spent with Lockhart seemed extremely long at this moment. Harry swore that he would rather go to the terrible Potions Master's private office and be sprayed with venom than spend a second longer next to this chattering loudspeaker: at least Snape had the target, and Loha Te's self-praising looks far from over.

Just as he was thinking this, and even happily commenting on whether he had been tortured crazy by Snape's language arts in the past years, another voice that was different from any of them sounded.

This voice sounds very vicious, and the content is horrifying: "Come, come here, let me tear you apart, tear you apart!"

"what?"

"What?!" Lockhart became even more excited when he received his response, "Are you saying that all those studies were caused by inquiry? You guessed it right, my boy! You are right! This is mine The secret to a book that consistently tops the best-seller list! How do you know I’ve been at the top of the best-seller list for six months in a row?”

"I mean! That voice!" Harry interrupted. He had no idea that 'what' had anything to do with 'research'. "Didn't you hear that?"

"What sound?" Lockhart asked confused.

But the voice disappeared.

"I mean--"

"Well, my boy! I think you're sleepy - Merlin! What time is it! We've been together for nearly four hours! I can't believe it - interesting people always spend time together. It’s so fleeting, isn’t it?”

"It's so nice to get along with you, Harry." He said, "You have a bright future, and so does Miss Albert. I wish we could spend more time together! If there is a chance, why can't we take her with us? Come here, let’s talk about the sky, how about a chat?”

"You know, you don't have such good luck every time you are imprisoned!"

"I'd rather go to Snape's office and dig out the spider's eyes." Harry replied in his mind, still perfunctorily agreeing with the famous teacher.

He tried to find where the sound came from, but heard nothing.
