The group gods who retired to fish in Genshin Impact
Chapter 1543 Although it has been a few days since the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, I still want t
Yesterday’s Ghost Festival special mentioned two protagonists, Hu Tao and Ningguang, but the second half only wrote about Hu Tao and didn’t mention Ningguang. I wonder if anyone is curious.
Even if no one is curious, I will still explain it. Don't ask me why. The reason is that I'm used to the water content and I can't continue writing without water.
Yesterday's protagonist. Actually, although it's Ningguang and Hu Tao, the real protagonist is only Hu Tao, partly to fill the hole from two years ago.
On the other hand, there is the Zhongyuan Festival. Although this festival is a traditional festival in my country, compared with other festivals including Qingming Festival, relatively few people care about this festival, and many people don’t even know much about it.
I feel that it is similar to Qingming Festival. Although in essence they are indeed similar, there are differences between the two festivals.
I won't go into details, but the most essential difference is that during the Qingming Festival, people worship ghosts, while during the Zhongyuan Festival, ghosts worship people.
Qingming Festival is the day when people burn paper to commemorate the dead around them. Generally speaking, the ghosts of people close to them usually stay underground at this time and will not come to the human world.
Although the Zhongyuan Festival is also a day when people hold hands to commemorate their deceased relatives, at this time the gates of hell open and ghosts will run from underground to the human world to look for their living relatives or descendants. This is the difference between the two.
The details are definitely not like this, I just want you to understand it faster and more conveniently.
However, compared to Qingming Festival, not many people pay attention to the Ghost Festival.
Maybe it’s okay in some areas where there is a custom of ancestor worship, or some more traditional families are also aware of this festival.
However, if the family is not very traditional and there is no custom of ancestor worship in the local area, the knowledge of this festival may be relatively small, and many people may not even know that there is such a festival.
It is not an exaggeration to say that some people may know about the Zhongyuan Festival, the legendary Ghost Festival, from watching some horror movies.
For example, Uncle Ying’s horror movies or some horror movies often mention Ghost Festival, and this festival also mentions the concept of Ghost Festival.
It is called Ghost Festival, but it should actually be called Relative Searching Day, because both humans and ghosts are busy looking for their relatives on this day.
People burn paper for their deceased relatives so that they will not suffer in the underworld, while ghosts burn paper to find their living relatives or descendants to visit them and relieve their worries.
This is the difference between Qingming Festival and Zhongyuan Festival.
The Ghost Festival special was actually a spur-of-the-moment idea. Although I wanted to write the main article, I was so busy lining up these past two days that I had no time at all. Plus, I've become so used to writing so many articles lately that I can't continue without writing them. So in the end, I was torn between lining up and updating, and chose to do both.
Together with other festivals such as the Ghost Festival and the Qingming Festival, they feel even closer to me.
So after deciding to write a festival special with the theme of the Ghost Festival, I began to think about how this festival special should be written.
The film takes the Qianyan Army as the main group, unfolds from their perspective, and tells stories that are in line with the core of our country's military.
It still unfolds some details and warmth in daily life from the perspective of ordinary people.
Or you can choose a character as the main perspective and start telling the content of this holiday special.
I thought about these for a long time, about 5 minutes, and then I went to fight on the line. When I came back after fighting on the line, I felt that my thoughts became a little more active, and then I suddenly remembered that I had dug a hole two years ago.
When I was writing Hu Tao's legendary quest, because there was not too much content, the chapter was not long at that time, only one chapter, which was about 3000 words. Compared with the length of other characters' legendary quests in the early stage, this was too short.
Then I said at that time that because the length of this article was too short, some people said that it was not satisfying to read. I said that I would make up for Walnut later and try to write more other articles.
And then later on, I forgot about this matter. Although I occasionally thought about it, I still forgot it after thinking about it.
For example, during the Qingming Festival last year, I was thinking about how to write about Walnut, but as I was thinking, I got distracted and forgot about it. In the end, I think I wrote about something else, or something? Anyway, I didn't write about Walnut.
Then, until the day of the Ghost Festival this year, although it was just a few days ago, I suddenly thought of Hu Tao, and I was struggling with what perspective to write from.
After thinking of Walnut, I remembered the pit I dug two years ago, and then I prepared to start a special feature on the Ghost Festival from Walnut’s perspective, but I thought about it for a long time how to unfold it, and whether it should be started with a more cheerful atmosphere.
I was also struggling over whether to start from the character's own story and write an expanded story. After repeated thinking, I finally chose to use the character's own story as the theme and then expand a story from it.
We all know that most of the characters in Genshin Impact are actually quite skilled, and they basically have some stories behind them.
Especially in Liyue, five-star characters basically have swords, both big swords and small swords.
But in this book, the knife problems of many characters have been solved, and only a few characters still have some knives on them. Then, in order to uphold our consistent goal of saving the knives.
I also decided to use the part of Walnut's background story about her grandfather's death as the core, and then expand it into a new story.
I don't know how much you know about Walnut's background story, but anyone who has read Walnut's background story should be impressed by the story of Walnut and her grandfather.
When she was young, her grandfather, who she depended on for life and was very close to, passed away. After holding the funeral for her grandfather with great sadness, Hu Tao packed her luggage overnight and went to Wuwangpo to live for several days, just to see her grandfather's ghost.
As a result, the ghost who stayed behind at Wuwangpo told Hu Tao directly that her grandfather had let go of all his worries and entered reincarnation, which made Hu Tao indifferent to life and death after being sad.
He took over the responsibility of running the Wangsheng Hall from the time he was a few years old until the time in the plot. In the meantime, there was also the old man, a poor rich man who added to the financial burden of the Wangsheng Hall.
You can imagine how hard Walnut works.
Although we know from the background story that Hu Tao's grandfather was still alive when Zhongli joined the Hall of Rebirth, but when you think about it, Hu Tao's life is even harder. At such a young age, she not only had to support her family, but also her grandfather.
If the ability was a little bit worse, the hall for rebirth would have gone bankrupt by now.
Then after deciding on the protagonist and the core of the story, I started writing. However, I felt that I couldn't just tell the story from Walnut's perspective, as that would be a bit monotonous.
So based on the content of this book, I added Ningguang in, but because this is a special edition, the timeline cannot follow the main storyline.
Therefore, this story happened after the end of the Liyue main storyline, and it is unknown before that period of time. Xiaoying is still just a student, and has not come to the Shadow Shop, nor has she triggered her past life memories.
The relationship between Ningguang and Xiaoying is like the relationship between Hu Tao and her grandfather. So considering that the setting of the original novel and this book is so similar, I chose two characters with the same psychological journey.
But during the writing process, the story was always told from Hu Walnut's perspective, and Hu Walnut was the protagonist.
Ningguang thought about bringing it up, but after thinking about it, there was nothing to mention. After all, there wouldn't be much point in bringing it up. Xiaoying was resurrected in the main storyline, and the two of them were now sisters, so there was no need to mention it specifically.
Then, in addition to Ningguang, I actually thought about Shen He's perspective, and was considering whether to add Shen He.
As we all know, as a character in a 12-plus game, Shen He has more than just 12-plus content.
He was thrown into a cave by his own father to fend for himself, and fought against the devil's resentment for three days and three nights.
Later, she escaped from the mortal world and became an immortal. In a novel, she could be the protagonist, but in the game, although Shen He is a powerful disciple of an immortal, her story is indeed a bit tragic.
After all, no matter what kind of child he is, even if the conflict with his family is so serious that he has broken off all ties with his family, at least he still has a good relationship with his family when he is 3 years old.
Unless the parents at home are really beasts, they can make a 3-year-old child dissatisfied with the family.
After Shen He experienced the death of his mother, he was abandoned by his father in ignorance, and then fought with a demon in a cave for three days and three nights. No matter how you think about it, it doesn't seem like he can be mentally healthy.
The red rope locks up the emotions of identity and may also protect deep mental health to some extent. Even if one is born with a fierce fate, one cannot be completely without human emotions.
After going through so many things, if I don't lock in Shen He's feelings, then maybe I really have an evil fate.
Let Shen He turn evil directly.
But this is just a guess. With Shen He's personality, he might not turn evil even without the red string. At most, he would just be a little more vicious than others.
Or it could be more direct than in the original plot, for example, in the original plot, directly pressing someone's head to the ground and knocking it three times.
This sentence was just said, but without the help of the red rope, Shen He might not have said it, but would have directly grabbed the man's head and knocked it three times on the ground.
All of these are uncertain, and considering Shen He, we can also do something about the Ghost Festival. For example, we can follow the story of Hu Tao, and then add Shen He's perspective, and bring back the souls of Shen He's parents and send them to their dreams.
It is good to satisfy the redemption of two roles at once, but why didn't they do so in the end? One of the reasons is that there is too little information about Shen He's parents.
Secondly, in the current plot of her life, there is not much display of her past family life.
The only information revealed is that Shen He's mother died of illness when she was a child, and her father became obsessed and eventually became possessed, blaming everything on Shen He. In addition, she had the fate of being alone and robbed, which means she would be doomed to be alone in the real world.
To put it bluntly, this kind of fate will bring bad luck to people around you, especially relatives. It is almost a fate that will cause the whole family to die. In serious cases, it may also affect friends.
Then Shen He's father thought that it was all Shen He's fault, and under the influence of his own obsession and the remnants of the demon, he threw Shen He into the cave full of the demon's resentment.
Although this is also inseparable from the legendary forbidden technique of exchanging one life for another found by Shen He's father, as well as the influence of the remnant of the demon disguised as a god next to him.
But to be honest, as a family of sorcerers, don't you have any idea whether one life can be exchanged for another in this world?
Even if you are affected and become obsessed and unable to get out of it, you won't lose your professional knowledge, right?
Even if other people become obsessed with something, they still have a lot of professional knowledge to help themselves reach a higher level. But when it comes to you, you become obsessed with something and directly lose all your professional knowledge.
It’s really awesome.
Then the plot moves on to here. The follow-up is what was mentioned in the previous plot of The Goddess Splitting the Crown. Shen He's father hanged himself a few years later due to regret and exhaustion.
