In the early morning, I sat in front of the computer and typed three words: Conclusion, then fell silent looking at the empty outline.

I have imagined countless times how I would feel on the day this article is finished. Would I be sitting on the computer, going crazy with joy, or would I be so sad that I burst into tears?

The result was neither of the two. I felt mixed emotions and a sense of loss.

After more than four hundred days and nights, I finally completed this story and accompanied everyone in the book through their lives.

Let me talk about the title of the book first. To be honest, I am a sucker at naming things.

But luckily I met a good editor.

Initially, the editor named my work "Beautiful Spring Light". To be honest, I personally like this name very much and it fits the content of the article very well... Later, when I signed the contract, the editor changed it again. I guess it was because he was afraid that it might not be eye-catching enough.

Let’s talk about the original intention of writing this article.

In fact, when I looked back at the content after finishing it, it was far from the first outline I submitted to the editor.

At first, I just wanted to write a simple article about rebirth, but in the process of writing, I began to think seriously about why I should be reborn? What is the meaning of rebirth?

I love my heroine very much, and I feel very sorry for her.

Many people cannot understand why I would create such a tragic character as the protagonist and not give her any golden fingers. Is it just for the sake of abuse and misery?

The heroine in my works does not refer to a specific person, but a complex composed of many women.

Happy people are all alike; each unhappy person is unhappy in his own way.

She embodies the misfortunes of many people and also has certain shortcomings that you hate.

She is not a perfect person, and of course, I don't expect her to be perfect.

I sympathize with her misfortune, tolerate her shortcomings, and forgive her mistakes.

I watched her fall again and again, with her head broken and bleeding, then she gritted her teeth, got up, and continued to move forward.

I also watched her fall into desperate situations time and time again, but she never gave up on herself, and tried her best to save herself and survive.

Finally, I saw her emerge from her cocoon as a butterfly, be truly reborn, realize her own value, and have her own happiness.

Seeing this, do you think this she is still just her?

Many readers find this article very cruel and tiring to read. I can only say that I am sorry that I cannot create the kind of excitement you want.

Because this article itself is a growth history mixed with blood and tears.

And growth is never something that only makes people feel happy and comfortable.

There is no chance to start over in life, so what is the meaning of rebirth literature? Is it just to satisfy a momentary fantasy?

One more thing to add is that many people say that this article does not have a strong female protagonist at all.

The definition of a heroine is itself very subjective and there is no unified standard. A thousand people have a thousand opinions, which can easily cause controversy.

As for the heroine's feeling towards him, it's good enough if she doesn't hate him, let alone love him, which is totally impossible.
