Live fortune telling: Encounter a wanted criminal at the beginning

Chapter 478: Imitate my ancestors and cut my flesh to feed the eagles!

On the barrage:

[Uh, this is really called fate, right? I just woke up and saw this scene. If the abbot is not possessed by the devil, who will be? 】

[Ah, so, it was because of this that Abbot Wenjue became obsessed with becoming a Buddha, and finally became a demon? But even if he is possessed by a demon, it won't become...well, it will become like this, right?

By the way, let me take the liberty to ask, is Abbot Wenjue now a human or a ghost? 】

【Is it a ghost? You see, neither of his feet touch the ground, and how can anyone like him still be alive? 】

[Well, judging from what I see now, Abbot Wenjue is really not a bad person, so why did he become like that later? Did something else happen next? 】

[For example...the dead Qin Baojuan is back again? 】

【…】

Water friends were filled with emotion.

Even the boy looked at the strange figure at this moment, Abbot Wenjue.

There seemed to be a hint of pity in his eyes.

Because of those unreasonable pilgrims, he forced himself to become obsessed with becoming a Buddha, which eventually led to him becoming a demon and becoming what he is now.

Speaking of which, it is really difficult to calm down.

He was originally the abbot, and he could be famous all his life.

"!!!" Abbot Wen Jue was still staring at the playback, feeling shocked and angry.

There was even a hint of anxiety.

He doesn't want the replay to continue!

He didn't want the scene behind to be replayed!

It's a pity that what he doesn't want can only be that he doesn't want to.

Playback continues:

When Abbot Wenjue saw the Buddha's golden back stained red with blood, he immediately fell back into a nightmare!

He started to go crazy, holding his head and shaking his head wildly, trying to get himself out of that nightmare.

He also recited the Pure Heart Sutra.

After reciting for an unknown amount of time, Abbot Wenjue felt that his mouth was completely dry and his throat was a little hoarse and uncomfortable. Only then did the restlessness in his heart gradually calm down.

He finally came out of the nightmare memories.

But the blood on Buddha Jin's body is not a dream, it is real!

Abbot Wenjue didn't know how the Buddha's gold body could be stained with blood, but this was a big taboo!

Thinking of this, Abbot Wenjue quickly got up and wiped the Buddha's golden body.

But something strange is coming.

The blood on Buddha Gold’s body cannot be wiped off!

No matter how he wiped it, the dazzling blood just couldn't be wiped off!

In fact, the more he wiped it, the redder the blood became!

Seeing this strange scene, even Abbot Wenjue couldn't help but feel frightened.

But after all, he is a monk and an abbot, so he still has two brushes.

He began to recite sutras to the blood on the Buddha's body, trying to save it.

Unfortunately, it has no effect at all!

As a last resort, Abbot Wenjue had no choice but to give up and think about coming back to find a solution after understanding what happened.

However, after learning what happened, Abbot Wenjue stayed where he was!

Qin Baojuan is dead!

He died in the Mahavira Hall, crashing into Buddha Gold!

"How could this happen? How could this happen?"

Abbot Wenjue shook his head in astonishment, looked at the blood on Buddha Jin's body and murmured: "Why did it become like this? Why? Obviously, it has always been fine. What went wrong?"

"Donor Qin, Donor Qin would rather die here than bring Baoguang Temple into trouble. Why on earth is this?!"

As he murmured, Wenjue Abbot's mood began to change.

He gradually became excited and his eyes slowly turned red: "Buddha, Buddha! Buddha, tell me, tell me!"

"The disciple asks himself that he has never violated the rules of the temple, and he has never used power and wealth in his treatment of pilgrims. But why did Baoguang Temple become like this as soon as it was handed over to the disciples?"

"Everyone comes to pray to you, but you refuse to pay attention to them. If you ignore them, their wishes will not be fulfilled. If their wishes are not fulfilled, fewer and fewer pilgrims will come to Baoguang Temple!"

"Buddha, this disciple is not asking for the large number of pilgrims, nor is it asking for the prosperity of the incense in the temple. I just don't want the reputation of Baoguang Temple, which Master has left in the hands of his disciples, to be ruined!"

"Buddha, I boldly implore you, please just pay attention to those pilgrims!"

As he spoke, Abbot Wenjue knelt down towards the golden body of Buddha.

His eyes were completely scarlet, with bloodshot eyes covering every corner.

After kneeling down, he begged the Buddha's golden body again, becoming more and more excited.

Reason is being lost bit by bit.

In the end, looking at the motionless and expressionless golden body of the Buddha, Abbot Wenjue was completely disappointed.

Buddha refused to agree!

Since the Buddha refuses to agree, then he, then he will become the Buddha himself!

He wants to become a Buddha!

He must become a Buddha!

At this moment, Abbot Wenjue had an obsession in his heart, the obsession to become a Buddha!

The screen changed again.

Already arrived several months later.

In the past few months, Abbot Wenjue has tried countless methods, trying to become a true Buddha through hard practice like in the dream.

It is a pity that there are thousands of people practicing Buddhism in the world, but not one of them has truly become a Buddha.

At least, he had never heard of anyone who actually became a Buddha.

Gradually, despair appeared in Abbot Wenjue's eyes.

But even in despair, after thinking that the number of pilgrims coming to Baoguang Temple was dwindling, he still cheered up and continued to search for the way to become a Buddha.

finally--

When Abbot Wenjue's despair reached its peak and he was about to give up and become decadent, he suddenly remembered an allusion!

allusion!

The allusion of Buddha Sakyamuni becoming a Buddha - cutting his flesh and feeding it to the eagles!

According to legend, before Sakyamuni became a Buddha, he went through a period of ascetic cultivation. One day while meditating in the forest, he encountered an eagle chasing a dove.

The eagle wants to eat the dove.

But when the dove saw Sakyamuni, it flew into Sakyamuni's sleeve in an attempt to escape.

Of course Gautama Buddha understood the pigeon's desire to survive.

So, Gautama Buddha said to the eagle: "Please let this dove go, God will bring good health."

But how could the eagle agree?

After all, pigeons are its dinner!

If it doesn't eat the pigeon, it will starve to death.

So, the Eagle refused.

The eagle said to Sakyamuni: "God has the virtue of a good life, but if I release this dove, I will starve to death. Then where can the virtue of a good life come from?"

After hearing this, Sakyamuni thought it was right, so he thought about it and came up with a way:

He brought a scale, weighed the pigeon, and then cut off pieces of meat from himself that were equal to the weight of the pigeon.

After cutting it off, he replaced the dove with his own piece of meat and fed his piece to the eagle.

In this way, the eagle will not starve to death and the dove will be saved.

After that, Sakyamuni achieved enlightenment and became the Buddha!

Thinking of this, Abbot Wenjue's eyes burst out with a very bright light, and he made a decision!

He wants to follow the example of his ancestors and cut his flesh to feed the eagles!
