Lord: Harvest two talented teenagers at the beginning

Chapter 994: Teaching the Apprentice to be Deceived for the Second Time

The next morning, Weilin took Na out of the town and entered the Mibeiheda Swamp.

According to the map, as expected, the two lost their way.

Standing at the edge of the mangrove forest, Weilin looked at the map in disbelief and saw a mountain on it.

"Damn liar, you better pray I don't run into you again."

When Na heard what the teacher said, he subconsciously shrank his head.

This was the first time he had seen the teacher angry in all these years. Even when he had gotten into trouble, he had never seen the teacher so angry.

The last time he was deceived by a fake map was last time, and even after so many years, he still remembers it clearly.

"Teacher, what should we do next?"

Weilin looked at the map in his hand, tore it into pieces, and threw it into the mud beside him. He looked around and said to Na, "Wait here first. I'll go catch two giant swamp crocodiles."

"Okay, teacher."

Entering the swamp, Weilin came alone to the lair of a giant swamp crocodile.

Hearing the noise, the seven giant swamp crocodiles that were eating raised their heads and looked at the uninvited guest in front of them with a confused look on their faces.

"How dare you look at me like that? You deserve a beating."

Weilin made up an excuse and rushed into the nest and beat up the seven giant swamp crocodiles.

As he needed a means of transportation, he did not kill them, so as not to arouse the bestiality of these swamp crocodiles.

The anger in their hearts dissipated a lot, and the seven giant swamp crocodiles were beaten and hid in the corner of the nest, not daring to look the two-horned beast in the eye.

Weilin pointed at the two stronger giant swamp crocodiles and said coldly, "You, and you, come here."

When the two giant swamp crocodiles heard the humans' words, they slowly approached on their short legs.

“Come with me, lead us out of this swamp, and I will let your whole family go.”

The larger swamp crocodiles buried their heads in the swamp, which meant submission.

Seeing this, another giant swamp crocodile also buried its head in the mud.

Weilin jumped onto the back of a larger swamp crocodile and directed it to leave its nest and walk in the direction from which it came.

The smaller swamp crocodile followed behind, walking in the mud.

On the way, Weilin left a mangrove branch and slowly scraped off the mud on his feet.

When we returned to the temporary camp, Na had already set up the iron pot and cooked the broth.

Leaving the two swamp crocodiles aside, Weilin came to the campfire, took the broth handed to him by Na, and started drinking it.

Weilin looked at the flames, and the more he thought about it, the angrier he became. He looked up at his apprentice and said, "Well, I have something to tell you."

"Teacher, tell me."

"If you have the chance to go back to that town in the future, don't let that damn liar go."

"is teacher."

Although I don't know why the teacher said this, as a disciple, I agreed first.

After receiving a positive answer from his apprentice, Weilin's inner depression gradually dissipated and he stopped thinking about it.

The next morning, Weilin and Na drove the giant swamp crocodile into the mangrove forest, looking for a way out of the swamp.

After wandering around for half a month, the two successfully left the Mibeiheda Swamp.

At the edge of the swamp, Na, under Weilin's instructions, untied the rope on the swamp crocodile and released it.

The two giant swamp crocodiles looked back every three steps, with deep reluctance in their eyes, and they were very reluctant to give up their long-term meal tickets.

Whenever day and night changed, the powerful two-legged beast would go out hunting and prepare food for them. As for their task, they only had to carry the two two-legged beasts as they walked in the swamp.

"Teacher, why don't we keep those two swamp crocodiles here?" Na suggested, looking at the swamp crocodiles that were reluctant to leave.

Upon hearing this, Weilin refused without hesitation: "No."

"Ok."

Na didn't ask why, believing that the teacher must have his own reasons for doing so.

After the two giant swamp crocodiles disappeared into the mud, Weilin patted Na's shoulder and said, "Let's go."

Seeing this, Na tightened his bag and quickly followed.

Arriving at a town, Na couldn't take his eyes off the various buildings and novel things around him. This was a scene he had never seen in the snowy countries.

Seeing this, Weilin slowed down his pace to allow Na to take in these new sights.

Through daily greetings from the surrounding residents, Weilin got some of the information he wanted.

This place is called, a small border town in the north of Baruch Province in the Ita Kingdom, and the territory of a Baron named Kota Goens.

The mainstream belief here is also a snow and ice deity named the Ice Wolf God.

"Teacher, where are we staying today?"

"Sleeping on the street." Weilin responded casually.

"Okay, teacher." Na answered without hesitation.

Upon hearing this, Weilin covered his face and said helplessly, "Does everything I say mean it's right? You should have your own opinions in the future, okay?"

"Okay, teacher, I understand."

Seeing Na's serious look, Weilin thought that this kid didn't take his words to heart and he would have to teach him slowly during the journey.

After all, it was my own fault that I was in this state now. If I had known earlier, I should have made a few mistakes on purpose to break the image of myself as profound in this kid's mind.

"What are you going to do after I leave?"

Na didn't even think about it and answered without any hesitation: "I will go wherever the teacher goes."

"Forget it, just pretend I didn't say anything."

As night fell, they found a hotel and stayed there.

At night, moonlight shone into the room through the window. Weilin sat at the wooden table and stared at his apprentice, asking him to plan a travel route for the Kingdom of Ita.

Looking at Na who was unable to make a decision, Weilin said nothing and just watched quietly.

We must start cultivating this kid's subjectivity in major events now and there can be no further delay.

Unconsciously, Weilin had forgotten that this was an illusion, and devoted himself to teaching this young man of ordinary origin.

Weilin yawned, glanced at the sky, and asked, "It's been three hours. Have you decided where to go?"

Na stared at the rough map of the Ita Kingdom on the parchment. Hearing the teacher's urging, he made up his mind and directly abandoned the dozens of plans in his mind and planned casually.

After a few minutes, Na put down the parchment and looked up at the teacher.

Looking at the route on the parchment, Weilin couldn't help but twitch his lips, but he still encouraged: "Very good, just follow this route."

"We will rest in this town for two days and set off on the third day."

"is teacher."

"Okay, let's go and rest."

"is teacher."

"By the way, I won't tell you what to prepare for this trip. If you don't know what to prepare, go ask the locals. Got it?"

"is teacher."

"Call me another name."

"Teacher, I understand."

"Forget it, go and get some rest."

"kindness."

After driving Na away, Weilin closed the door, threw himself on the bed and began to sleep soundly.
