HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 979 Extra: A large screen appears in the sky (16)

Principal room.

Dumbledore took off his glasses and looked at Severus, who had just left and come back, with a very complicated look.

"So, are you still going to meet him?"

They have already got what they wanted, so it doesn't seem to matter whether they meet or not.

Severus thought otherwise.

He didn't believe that someone who casually threw away the weight that could control them only had one weight in his hand.

The next day, the professors gathered in the principal's office.

The principal's office has changed a lot compared to before. The desk is gone. The original sofa has become two long sofas and a single sofa, which are arranged diagonally to form a semicircle. In the middle is an enlarged round table, and the table is filled with delicious food.

Sprout and McGonagall sat on the couch, enjoying freshly baked cookies, occasionally passing a plate to Severus who was sitting alone on the armchair in deep thought.

Flitwick sat between the two witches so that they could stop him from saying anything inappropriate at any time.

But this obviously didn't work for the goblin professor.

He picked up the biscuit with a fork while observing Dumbledore and Grindelwald, whose atmosphere was different from the distant one yesterday.

Grindelwald and Dumbledore occupied another couch and had breakfast together for the first time in a long time.

Actually, there was a reason why everyone gathered in the principal's office.

This morning, the Hogwarts faculty and staff led by Dumbledore went to the auditorium early to wait, but they waited until the students finished breakfast but did not see any of the dark forces appear. Dumbledore guessed that it was because Severus and Cavendish were going to meet, so he simply packed up everyone and took them back to the headmaster's office to have breakfast first before talking about anything else.

After breakfast, the shady guy showed up as expected.

Flitwick held a snack in his left hand and a drink in his right hand, ready to watch the movie.

As usual, Sprout picked up her quill and her little notebook. Mag was equipped the same way today, with a brand new notebook in one hand and a quill in the other, and both were ready to start writing.

Severus, who was curled up in the armchair in a daze, raised his eyelids and looked at the screen lazily, with terrifying red bloodshot spreading in the whites of his eyes.

Dumbledore looked at Severus several times, as if he wanted to say something, but he didn't. He opened and closed his mouth but couldn't say a word. Grindelwald, who wanted to speak, was suppressed by him.

Everyone was prepared, but the shady dealings were still shady dealings, nothing but darkness.

The atmosphere was a little awkward.

Dumbledore pushed his glasses up on his nose, as if he understood something.

"Maybe we have to wait for someone else."

As for who it was, he didn't say.

Grindelwald and Severus knew about it, but one was concerned about Dumbledore and the other didn't want to talk, so no one explained to Flitwick and the other two who were full of questions.

Half an hour later, after all the flowers had wilted, the few people finally heard a knock on the door.

Flitwick moved the fastest, jogging over and opening the door from the inside, then froze in place: "S-S-Severus! Coming! Coming!"

He called Severus incoherently, calling over Sprout and McGonagall, who were extremely curious.

Finally, the three people fell into deathly silence as they looked at Cavendish standing alive at the door.

Dumbledore came to rescue them.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Cavendish, they're just a little surprised to see you here."

The young man switched the cane to his left hand, smiled slightly, and performed the greeting perfectly.

"In fact, I was also surprised, but I am still very happy that the professors opened the door for me..."
