HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 91 Magic Riot (Part )

In the early morning, Elise came to the auditorium early as usual to wait for Artes.

She sat on the long Slytherin table, tapping her fingers unconsciously on the table.

His eyes swept across the seat next to him, and his thoughts couldn't help but drift to Artes who hadn't arrived yet.

During this period, since Mr. moved into the cellar, he gradually stopped eating lunch and dinner in the auditorium.

She could only see him during class. Her intuition told her that something was changing, but she didn't notice it.

"What changes?"

Aces's voice came from behind her, and Elise realized that she had actually said what she had just thought.

"What changes?"

Aces came to sit next to Elise, turned his head and asked.

Elise nodded respectfully towards Asseth, "Good day, sir."

Aces waved his hand, indicating for her to answer the question just now.

Elise opened her mouth, not knowing what to say to him.

Asseth didn't rush and waited quietly.

"Actually, I don't know, sir, I just don't feel right."

Aces raised his eyebrows, feeling?

As a descendant of elves, Elise's powerful intuition has always been the gift of elves, so her intuition is probably accurate.

"Who are you feeling about."

"Sir and Professor Snape."

Is that so?

That should be the thing he tried to intervene in some time ago.

Aces lowered his eyelids, his long eyelashes hiding the rolling emotions in his eyes.

When he raised his eyes again, there was no trace of anything on his face.

"Forget it if you can't think of it. How are you practicing the Patronus Charm?"

Hearing Artes ask about the Patronus Charm, Elise nervously squeezed her wand and answered in a low voice.

"Not yet, sir, I still can't summon the patron saint."

"Don't worry, this spell is not that easy to learn. Didn't Carter learn it too?"

After hearing Asses' words, Elise's mood became even lower.

"Sir, Carter successfully summoned the patron saint."

"Hmm? Summoned? When did it happen? How come I didn't know."

Asseth looked at Elise in surprise.

"Of course you don't know, because I haven't seen you, sir, for a long time."

Suddenly there were footsteps behind the two of them, and then Carter's faint voice.

Elise, who is in a different grade, can also see Asseth in class.

Carter and Artes were not in the same grade, so he couldn't see Artes's people at other times except during breakfast time.

Asseth turned back, Carter's resentful eyes made him feel a little guilty.

"I've been busy recently. I'll be fine after this period of time."

He laughed and dealt with Elise and Carter nonchalantly.

The two of them obviously didn't believe his perfunctory remarks, but they didn't hold on to him either.

Carter sat down next to Artes and reported in a low voice the results of his observations in Slytherin during this period.

That’s right, observation.

Aces gave Carter a task after school started.

As quietly as possible, select families and students in Slytherin who are talented, capable and able to conquer.

As a member of the pure-blood aristocracy, Carter knows the little snakes who are also aristocrats fairly well, and he has gained a lot from his observations these days.

Aces didn't say anything after listening to his report, and just asked him to continue observing.

Carter was a little surprised by Asseth's approach, but he still complied.

Aces noticed his expression and knew what he was wondering about, but he didn't explain it to him.

He didn't plan to do anything now, he was just observing to prepare for the future.

After finishing the conversation, the few of them had breakfast.

After breakfast, Asseth frowned and looked at the skylight. There was no familiar owl flying there.

He pursed his lips a little anxiously, his eyes locked on the skylight, and his fists could not help but clenched.

what happened?

He clearly said that he would report every day.

Frowning and waiting for a while, until the little wizard was no longer in the auditorium, Asseth took Elise and left for class.

In the herbal medicine classroom, Asseth looked at the sky in a daze.

Professor Sprout noticed this scene, walked over to the distracted Asseth, and reminded him gently.

"Mr. Cavendish, it's time you covered it with earth."

Aces came back to his senses and looked down at the herbs in his hand.

"Sorry, Professor Sprout, I'll just cover it with soil."

Professor Sprout was a very gentle and kind witch. He didn't care about Artes' distraction. He nodded gently to him and left.

In the herbal medicine class that followed, Asseth kept his spirits up and persisted until the end of the get out of class.

Aces couldn't concentrate during the morning class.

He was always concerned about the safety of Anna and the Duke.

After finally making it to the end of the morning class, Asseth came to the Owlery alone and mailed the letter he had prepared.

Standing by the window sill, Asseth stared at the owl's retreating back, feeling worried.

After the owl disappeared, Asseth did not leave immediately. Instead, he blew the wind on the window sill for a while until he calmed down, then turned back to the cellar.

Pushing the door open and walking into the cellar, Asseth looked around but couldn't find the person he was looking for.

So he skillfully came to the door of the potion room, raised his hand and prepared to call the potion master to eat.

At this time, the sound of an owl flapping its wings came.

Aces turned back suddenly, and a familiar owl flew towards him.

In the potions room, Snape was still finishing the potions.

A powerful force of magic suddenly hit the door of the potion room, and the potion in the crucible was swept away by the magic and was directly scrapped.

Without enough time to care about the destroyed potion, Snape quickly picked up his wand and rushed out.

Potions outside.

As soon as Snape came out, he saw Artes losing control.

He knelt on the ground, his head lowered, his expression unclear, and a letter clutched tightly in his hand hanging down by his side.

With him at the center, powerful magic swept through the cellar like a tornado.

The alchemy props arranged in the cellar are constantly being activated and destroyed.

The cellar was a mess.

Snape was blocked by powerful magic. The sharp magic did not distinguish between friend and foe, and scraped across his exposed skin unscrupulously, and his black clothes were gradually soaked.

After waiting for a while, Asses showed no intention of regaining his senses.

Snape could only grit his teeth, raise his wand, cast an armor spell on himself, and then walk towards the center of the magic explosion.

Brutal magic surrounded Snape, raging against the Iron Armor Curse, and soon the Iron Armor Curse couldn't hold on and dissipated.

Reluctantly, Snape raised his hand again and cast an armor spell on himself, but due to the raging magic around him, the armor spell was not considered successful.

But unexpectedly, the magic around him seemed to have weakened a lot.

Or rather avoiding him, Snape looked at the destroyed alchemy tools and came to this conclusion.

Taking advantage of the weakening of magic power, Snape quickened his pace and came to Artes' side.

Standing in front of the almost unconscious Artes, Snape lowered his head and looked at the scene in front of him, a little at a loss.

He didn't know what caused Artes to lose control, and he didn't know what to do to bring Artes back to his senses.

But he couldn't help but know the magic around him.

After hesitating for a moment, Snape knelt down and whispered his name in Asseth's ear.

Seeing that his brows were furrowed and he seemed to be struggling, Snape simply raised his hand and landed on Ass's head. The soft touch made him couldn't help but rub it.
