HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 875: Death of Voldemort

The moonlight gradually dimmed, and Athis slowly fell down. When his feet touched the ground, he felt an unprecedented emptiness in his body.

He paused, then walked towards Draco calmly. With every step he took, his aura and murderous intent grew stronger, locking onto Voldemort.

Voldemort knew he had lost, but he didn't think Aces had won.

"You can't hold on any longer, right?"

It seemed that because the black water disappeared, Voldemort's face turned back into a snake's. He pushed away the Death Eater who came to support him, looked at Athis's still gentle face, and suddenly smiled.

"Sure enough, the first time I saw you, I knew there was something wrong with your soul. You and I are the same person, equally without choice, equally crazy, equally cautious. Just accompany me to sink together, hahahaha."

Dumbledore and Grindelwald suddenly raised their heads and looked at Athis. It was hard to tell whether the emotions contained in those two pairs of once proud but now old eyes were more of vigilance or sorrow.

Professor McGonagall and the others were even more direct. Professor Sprout was full of worry, and Professor Flitwick gritted his teeth and asked, "Aces, what's wrong with your soul?"

"Brother!" Draco's voice was trembling.

The wizard behind him looked terrified. He knew that he shouldn't ask about their identities, but he still asked, "Master, are you okay?"

Even the basilisk Ella hissed non-stop, its tail sweeping back and forth anxiously.

Aces looked around at everyone's expressions. He saw some wizards gloating, he also saw the worry in Hermione's eyes, the fear revealed when Cedric looked up, and the Weasley twins jumping up and down anxiously.

He even saw Harry and Ron subconsciously wanting to go up and ask.

Finally, he sighed softly, his voice helpless, "You also believe what Voldemort said."

"It doesn't matter. You can deny it, but your soul won't. I'm waiting for you. Sooner or later, you will follow in my footsteps. But now, I want to ask for some interest first."

Almost at the moment Voldemort finished speaking, Voldemort waved his wand, releasing a strange red light as bright red as blood. The red light flew into the air and sprayed out, and tens of thousands of red lights flew towards the people below.

Dumbledore and Grindelwald were standing in the front row of the students. When they saw the red light coming, they acted in unison without saying a word, and the red and blue flames once again enveloped the entire place.

Most of the attacks were blocked by their combined enhanced fire shield, and the students behind them were well protected by them. Even Voldemort's desperate counterattack did not do any good.

Ases was still suffering from the aftereffects of releasing a large amount of magic power and the annihilation of his soul. The whole world seemed to be separated by an invisible membrane, and he was a beat slow to react.

In a hurry, he only had time to raise his hand to block the nearby red light and protect Draco and the family wizards beside him.

The professors' first reaction was to protect the students around them.

Those unlucky wizards who were far away from the professors and not close to Athis could only raise their wands to block it. There were not many red lights left. As long as they worked together, it would not be a problem to block it, but they were all focused on protecting themselves. Not only was no one willing to join forces, but they also racked their brains to use others as shields while protecting themselves, just to be safer.

Cedric was standing among these people. He blocked a spell and was about to help other wizards when he suddenly felt a pulling force from behind, causing him to stagger.

Cedric knew that now was not the time to argue, so he decisively shook off the person behind him. However, he was still a step too late. He missed the best opportunity to block the spell. Before he could even raise his hand, a red light flashed into his body, and his eyes instantly lost their luster.

The situations of other people were similar to his. Some were used as shields by others, while others simply failed to block it or were affected and failed to block it.

The same red light swept into their bodies.

Voldemort seemed to have used up all his strength for this one strike.

He laughed heart-wrenchingly, and his whole body became weak. His body spontaneously combusted without any fire, and the gray flames engulfed him in an instant. His black robe was burned to ashes, and he himself turned into ashes on the ground in just a few seconds.

It will be scattered when the wind blows.

At the same time, Cedric, who was unfortunately hit, screamed in pain, and then the other people who were hit also screamed.

Dumbledore and Grindelwald dispersed the flames, and without any obstruction, everyone looked over and discovered that Cedric and those people had blood-red scars all over their bodies at some point, like a snarling spider web that imprisoned them tightly.

"Merlin! It's Cedric!"

Professor Sprout ran over and carefully supported Cedric, and the other Hufflepuff students also gathered around.

Harry and Hermione looked at each other. Hermione told Ron to go see Cedric, while she and Harry walked over to the other wizards who had been hit.

No matter what, these are the people they brought with them, so they still have to save face.

Dumbledore and Grindelwald did not move. They stared at the Death Eaters, werewolves and giants who were in a panic after Voldemort's death.

"Stand there, don't run, you are not something that cannot be burned."

Grindelwald threatened coldly.

Looking at the murderous light in his eyes and the flames that occasionally spewed out of his wand, no one doubted that he was lying.

At this time, a giant eight-eyed spider came out curiously, turned over Voldemort's ashes with its spider legs. Its spider eyes suddenly lit up, and it waved its spider legs to kill its companions.

The other eight-eyed giant spiders also understood something and rushed up in a hive.

The eight-eyed giant spiders began to fight each other. The old leader died, and they wanted to choose a new leader. Dumbledore looked at their flying spider legs, shook his head at Grindelwald who wanted to take action, and stopped him.

Soon, the largest eight-eyed giant spider won and became the new leader.

The newly appointed leader of the eight-eyed giant spiders gave the signal to leave, and they quickly retreated back to the forbidden forest, dragging their broken spider legs.

“Just let them go like this?” Grindelwald asked unwillingly.

Dumbledore said calmly: "It is night now, and we are old and dim-sighted, so we might let a few escape. We can go back into the Forbidden Forest tomorrow. The Forbidden Forest... should also be cleaned up."

"Merlin! What happened to them?"

There was a cry of surprise from the other side.

Dumbledore and Grindelwald looked over and saw that several wizards who seemed to have enjoyed themselves a lot were the first to give up. They fell down with their bodies tilted, holding their chests with their hands while breathing weakly. In extreme pain, their eyeballs bulged out as if their eyeballs would pop out in the next second.

Athis also came over and squatted beside Professor Sprout. He lightly grabbed Cedric's wrist and was about to cast a spell when Cedric's body softened and fell down.

Professor Sprout scrambled to grab him and put him on the ground.
