HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 864: War Begins

The clock struck eleven.

The last day is coming, and tonight is destined to be a sleepless night.

The once bustling Diagon Alley suddenly caught fire, and there were roars like wild beasts that resounded through the sky. The wizards who were far away from the fire stared silently at the place where they once lived. The exhaustion after the life-and-death battle made them unable to muster the energy to care about these material things.

Then they looked towards a group of wizards dressed in their finery.

These were the sudden rescuers, and judging by their attire and the patterns on their bodies, they should be members of the Guard Division.

After a long time, a relatively energetic wizard came out and spoke for everyone.

"What...what should we do now?"

Several leading wizards from the Guard Department looked at each other and reached a consensus.

Most of these wizards did not have the courage to face Voldemort, they just needed to spend the night in a safe place.

After the conversation, most wizards accepted the arrangement and left in an orderly manner following the people from the Guard Department.

They have families, relatives and children, and cannot afford to suffer any hardship.

If things are not bad enough to fight, they would rather save themselves.

There were still some wizards left who wanted to take revenge on Voldemort and the Death Eaters. The leader of the Guard Department divided them into teams and followed the traces left by Voldemort.

Nemesis Manor.

The werewolf's retreat did not make Gavin relax. A faint sense of crisis lingered in his heart, and he always felt that a more powerful enemy was about to come.

"Have someone take out all the weapons that have just been put into storage, and act quickly!"

Gavin chose to trust his instincts.

A group of people moved quickly.

They moved in an orderly manner, not like wizards who were used to fighting alone, but more like mercenaries who followed orders.

In fact it is.

They are wizard mercenaries trained privately by the Cavendish family. They usually carry out missions with the fighting nation and will not come back. Just in case, Ases has transferred all of them back during this period.

The weapon Gavin was talking about was the RPG-27 rocket launcher that had just been bought from the fighting nation. The Russians said it was easy to use. If this had been used just now, I guess none of the werewolves would have been able to leave.

Not long after being equipped with weapons, Bella arrived with the corpses that had almost recovered after being baptized by blood.

Bella's instinct made her walk last, and the black liquid spread from her feet.

Gavin saw through the telescope that something was wrong with these things. He was too lazy to even shout a warning. He raised his hand, and more than 20 rocket launchers behind him raised up in unison and then fired.

Witnessed by a wizard who had never seen the world, the corpse walking in front was instantly torn into pieces, leaving no trace.

recover?

That's impossible. Under fire suppression, everything is false.

Gavin finally calmed down. Calculating the time, the battle on the other side was about to begin. He licked his lips and angrily ordered behind him: "Everyone, cheer up! Quickly fight and make a quick decision. Don't embarrass the young master."

"Yes!"

The loud and high-spirited responses soared into the sky, startling the other wizards.

They looked at these big men in doubt and uncertainty, with sweat of insecurity on their backs, fearing that they would be taken away by these big guys if they were not careful.

On the other side, the silence of Hogwarts was also broken.

The rustling sound of footsteps drowned out the whistling wind, entangled in a mournful music, and mourned in advance for the upcoming war.

Little bits of bright green light lit up all around, forming an encirclement. If someone looked closely, they would find that these light spots were all the bloodthirsty eyes of the werewolves.

Their failure at Nemesis Manor disappointed Voldemort greatly. To remedy the situation, the werewolf leader asked Voldemort to allow him to serve as a vanguard and attack Hogwarts.

Voldemort licked the blood that splashed on his lips, and his pale snake face looked extremely strange.

Behind him gathered many Death Eaters in black robes, eight-eyed giant spiders, werewolves, dragons with bound souls like zombies, and giants beating their chests and roaring.

It can be said that except for the Dementors and the Inferi that attacked Nemesis Manor, all the forces under Voldemort's command were deployed in full force.

This time, he was determined to take over Hogwarts. Even if he couldn't, he had to complete the second plan - shedding the shell.

Voldemort looked at the upper floors of Hogwarts Castle, his scarlet eyes filled with terrifying murderous intent and evil. Dumbledore, you'd better die, otherwise...

The cold and murderous aura around him was even stronger.

Because Lucius defected, Bella died, and Snape was away, Dolohov and Yaxley stood on Voldemort's left and right. Seeing that the team stopped here and Voldemort seemed to be still angry, the two looked at each other and wanted the other to ask.

There was a glance exchange, but no one was decided. Suddenly, the two of them missed the days when Bella was around. With Bella around, they had no chance of getting close to Voldemort at all. This was truly a blessing from heaven.

This is also why many people pleaded for mercy when Voldemort executed Bella.

It didn't work though, Bella still died in the end, and they still had to face the Death Eaters.

"What time is it?" Voldemort spoke coldly without waiting for the two to shirk responsibility again.

Dohorov and Yaxley were startled. They didn't dare to see his expression and said respectfully, "It's eleven fifty-seven, master."

"Three minutes later, attack."

Voldemort finished speaking and glanced at everyone coldly, "The Boy-Who-Lived can only die at my hands. Do you understand?"

His voice was not loud, but everyone heard it clearly.

The Death Eaters bowed their heads without objection, "Yes, Master."

The giants roared a few times, and their voices gradually became smaller under Voldemort's cold gaze. Finally, they whimpered like young animals, and the leading giant expressed his submission to Voldemort.

The eight-eyed giant spiders didn't have so many thoughts. They waved their spider legs and didn't care what Voldemort said. They didn't even know the savior.

The werewolf leader growled in submission, and the rest of the werewolves followed closely behind.

Voldemort was satisfied and withdrew his gaze. He raised his hand, and the dragon seemed to be attracted and lowered its head, respectfully giving Voldemort the chair. Deep flames lit up in its pupils. Voldemort lowered his head to check and found that the soul inside was still stable. He did not look at it any more and waited quietly for midnight to arrive.

Eleven fifty-eight.

Snape returned to the cellar from Malfoy Manor with a bad look on his face. As soon as he appeared, he hurried out in the direction of the headmaster's office.

At the same time, the hall of Hogwarts Castle was brightly lit. Harry, Hermione and Ron returned with a group of wizards, including Aurors who had escaped, allies who had temporarily reached a cooperation, and the leader of the centaurs.

Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, and Professor Sprout stood behind them, silently supporting them. Most of the students present also had determined and vaguely angry expressions.

Draco quietly returned to Hogwarts and stood in the corner, stroking the basilisk on his wrist, watching coldly as Harry tried to inspire people. He was surrounded by a group of invisible wizards, with all kinds of magical animals on their shoulders and around them. They looked at Draco with respect and admiration, but no one dared to look at Draco's wrist.

Eleven fifty-nine.

Ases found traces of a battle in a wasteland and followed the traces to a cliff by the sea, where two figures stood facing each other, as if in opposition.

Out of caution, Ases did not get close, but kept a safe distance, using a mirror to observe the two people, and was careful not to let the reflection of the mirror attract their attention.

The man on the left side of the cliff has not changed his clothes. He is the ruthless man who destroyed the ground network node before.

The other person was a stranger to Ases. Judging from his figure, he was thinner and shorter than the ruthless man opposite him, but the strong demonic pressure in the air showed that this person's strength was not weaker than the one opposite him, and might even be stronger than the one opposite him.

Even without getting close, Ases could feel the heavy pressure and shaving pain coming from the right side, but there was no such effect on the left side.

The zero o'clock bell rang.

The ruthless man on the left suddenly shook and appeared behind the other person strangely. His magic power burst out and broke the shackles of the magic pressure.

Ases knew that he was at a disadvantage in the confrontation and would lose if he didn't take action.

Almost at the same time, the magic circle and spell protecting Hogwarts failed. Voldemort opened his eyes, his eyeballs echoing the red of blood. He patted the dragon under him, and the dragon stood up.

Everyone's eyes were fixed on the top of the dragon, looking up at Voldemort, who was standing on the top of the dragon with a human body.

"attack."
