HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 782 The same purpose (page 1)

The glimmer of morning light shone into the room.

Stimulated by the light source, the eyelashes of the sleeping man on the bed trembled, and he lazily opened his eyes.

Aces turned his back to the sun, waved his hand and looked at the time.

It's six o'clock in the morning, still early.

He continued to sleep.

I slept until 6:30, then got up and took a shower.

Gavin also woke up downstairs.

After washing up, and seeing that the time had not yet come, I checked the charm on the door of Harry's room, returned to the balcony of the room, waited until seven o'clock, and knocked on the door of the next door on time.

"I'm coming."

There was a reply from inside.

Harry, with his messy hair on his head, opened the door sleepily and saw Gavin. He was embarrassed to play with his messy hair.

"I'll be fine soon."

"Don't be in a hurry. You can take your time. There are clothes ready in the closet."

Gavin closed the door and waited at the door.

Someone was waiting outside. Harry moved quickly, and within two minutes he was fully dressed and reopened the door.

The clothes were prepared by Gavin. They were completely different from usual. They were a slim-fitting white shirt and black pants. He tugged at the hem of his clothes as he was not used to it.

"I'm fine, let's go."

"Okay, Mr. Potter."

Gavin was satisfied that Harry wore the clothes he chose honestly and did not destroy the overall harmony of the manor. He was more polite to Harry and took him to the restaurant.

Aces was sitting on the sofa in the living room, reading today's Daily Prophet.

Draco was sitting next to him, leaning on the sofa crookedly, without opening his eyes, and his whole body was somewhere between sleeping and waking.

Aces finished reading today's daily report and picked up Draco's collar with one hand, "Didn't you sleep well last night?"

"good."

Draco didn't struggle, closed his eyes and went back to sleep, not mentioning the excitement that kept him tossing and turning last night.

"good?"

Artes repeated, and then he let go of his hand unexpectedly, and Draco, who was relying on Artes's hand, suddenly fell onto the sofa.

I woke up abruptly.

The platinum peacock's feathers exploded and it jumped up suddenly.

"Arces Cavendish!"

Aces smoothed the wrinkles in his clothes slowly, "Keep your voice down, I can hear you."

"You deliberately!"

Draco was furious.

He jumped over and wanted to pinch Asseth, but Asses blocked it with his backhand, forcing him to sit back to his original position.

"Sit tight and don't make trouble."

Draco was even more angry.

But he couldn't beat him again and again, couldn't scold him again and again, and there was nothing he could do against Asseth. In the end, he could only huddle on the sofa and sulk.

It was at this time that Gavin and Harry walked downstairs. They looked at the angry Draco and then at the calm Arthur.

Although I didn't understand what happened, I still pretended not to see it.

Arthur put down the Daily Prophet, "Good morning, Mr. Potter, I hope you had a good rest last night."

"Very good, Professor." Harry ignored his pale face and dark circles under his eyes and followed Arthur's words.

Asseth glanced at the dark circles under his eyes, without delving into the authenticity of his words, "Go have breakfast, and I'll take you back after you're done."

Harry nodded quickly.

Draco pretended not to hear anything and continued to be angry.

Aces leaned close to his ear and lowered his voice: "Are you still angry? Do you want Potter to see you so sleepy that you can't open your eyes?"

So it was because the savior came down that his brother smashed him awake?

The conflict was transferred and Draco glared at Harry. Harry didn't know why and looked back hesitantly.

This time he stung a hornet's nest. Draco stood up and walked towards Harry aggressively.

"What are you looking at? Do you think I will be impressed by you after what happened last night?"

Harry frowned, "I didn't."

"You didn't?" Draco obviously didn't believe it.

Asseth looked at Gavin. Gavin received the signal and came up to smooth things over.

"Young Master, it's almost seven o'clock. The Young Master has something to do later, shall we have breakfast first?"

Draco wanted to say something else, but he was half-coaxed and half-persuaded by Arthur to take him to the restaurant and sit down.

Harry watched the two of them laughing and laughing. The angry one burst out laughing soon after, and the emotions in his eyes were difficult to distinguish.

It wasn't until Gavin came over and touched his shoulder that he came back to his senses and followed Gavin into the restaurant.

After breakfast, Artes sent the two of them back to Hogwarts and turned to Malfoy Manor.

Snape had nothing to do during this period and had a regular schedule. When Artes came, he had just finished breakfast and was reading a book.

"Why so early? Have you had breakfast?"

Snape waved his wand to look at the time and transformed Artes into a soft sofa.

Aces sat down bonelessly, leaning against the sofa lazily and squinting his eyes comfortably.

"After eating, Draco and Mr. Potter have just been sent back to Hogwarts. They came here to report on yesterday's trip. Don't you like it?"

He answered Snape's questions one by one, and at the end, his tone couldn't help but become a little sticky.

His eyes were bright, anticipating Snape's answer.

Snape paused while turning the book, ignored Artes' last words, and asked, "Draco and Potter come to the manor together?"

"Mr. Potter discovered something was wrong with Voldemort. Dumbledore deliberately didn't believe him and forced him to come to me. Draco was just leading the way."

Aces explained what happened last night in a few words and continued to look forward to Snape's answer.

Snape threw away the book completely and snorted.

"He is indeed a savior. He is full of energy. Maybe he should create a department in the Ministry of Magic specifically to vent his energy that has nowhere to be released."

Before waiting for Snape's positive response, Artes sat upright.

"He shouldn't be the one who should vent his energy."

Snape pretended not to understand, "Did Dumbledore know they were coming out?"

There was really nothing he could do to deal with the current Snape. Artes was discouraged and retreated to the sofa in aggrieved manner, answering Snape's questions one by one.

"He knew. I guess he sent the two of them all the way to the gate of the manor before going back."

Snape asked with a sullen face: "What does he want to do again? And you, you just let them in like this?"

Aces lowered his eyes sadly, and his voice was also weak, showing a hint of depression.

"This matter... If you guessed it correctly, I have the same purpose as him, and I have no reason to reject him."

After hearing the explanation, Snape's lingering dissatisfaction finally dissipated, and he said angrily: "I thought you knew that Dumbledore is not a good partner?"

"It's not cooperation, we just happen to have the same purpose. He wants you to come back, and so do I."

Of course, there is more than just this purpose, but that purpose is not suitable to be mentioned now.

Aces raised his eyes, and there was a thrilling dark color in his eyes, which disappeared in the blink of an eye, leaving only the grievance of not being able to be close to his lover.

Snape felt soft-hearted, and kept scolding Voldemort and Halper in his mind for the mess they had done, and his tone became softer.
