HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 74 The vacation is over

"You guys, be careful when you play."

Aces shook his head helplessly and let go of the golden snitch in his hand.

The little golden snitch flew away in an instant, away from the big devil, and flew back towards Draco and Carter.

Carter in the distance watched the golden snitch flying towards him as if he was running for his life. The corners of his mouth twitched, and he wanted to laugh but didn't dare.

Merlin, he really came to the Malfoy house today at the right time, otherwise how could he have seen so many interesting things.

He, Carter, would actually see the words panic on a little golden snitch in his lifetime, hahahahahaha.

Draco on the side looked at Carter as if he were a fool.

Although this big brother is very funny, he is a bit silly, why is he always giggling.

Asseth looked at Carter's twisted expression speechlessly.

"Why are you so lively today?"

Carter suppressed his smile and replied, "Maybe it's because you're happy today?"

happy? I hope you can still laugh next time.

Aces raised his eyebrows and said with a hint of joking:

"Then let me tell you something even happier?"

His interest was aroused by Asseth's hesitation, and Carter hurriedly asked.

"What's the happy thing?"

Aces raised the corners of his mouth and showed a sly smile.

"I just saw our Head of House. He just arrived at Malfoy Manor."

Um? Dean?

Catching the key words, Carter's expression suddenly changed.

"If I heard correctly, our Head of House? Professor Snape?"

Aces nodded slowly, watching Carter's smile collapse with satisfaction, then turned to look at Draco beside Carter, and asked:

"Draco, do you know Professor Snape?"

Draco nodded without thinking.

"I know him. He comes to our house sometimes."

"So do you like him?"

Draco didn't nod immediately this time. He hesitated for a moment before nodding hesitantly.

"Dad asked me to like him. He said Mr. Snape was very powerful and asked me to listen to him. And so did you, Artes."

This time it was Carter's turn to look at Draco like an idiot.

Why does this kid talk about everything and reveal everything about his father?

Aces lowered his eyes and looked at Draco, then got close and patted his head.

"Don't say anything else next time."

Draco nodded in understanding.

He has a good impression of Artes, and his father also said that Artes is great, so he must be right to listen to him.

Seeing Draco agree, Ace waved his hand and checked the time.

It was getting late and it was time for him and Carter to leave.

Aces turned to look at Carter, who grimaced, but still came up and held Draco's hand.

The three of them walked towards the main building inside the manor.

Logically speaking, they need to tell the host before leaving, but now Lucius is entertaining guests.

So when Asseth came to the living room, he was hesitating whether to go to the study to say goodbye.

Before he could figure out the result, Lucius walked down, followed by Snape in black robes.

Okay, no need to worry about it now.

Aces looked at Lucius first and nodded slightly towards him.

"Just in time, Lucius."

"Thank you for your hospitality today, but it's getting late. I think we should go back. I hope our next meeting will still be pleasant."

Lucius smiled back.

"Of course, I believe that our next meeting will be a pleasant one."

Hearing this, Snape glanced at Lucius thoughtfully. Did he not know much about Asseth?

The corner of Asseth's mouth curled up, that was not necessarily the case.

But he didn't say much, and instead turned to look at Snape with a smile.

The smile on his face was more genuine than when he faced Lucius before.

"Professor, it's getting late, should we go back first?"

Snape glanced at him and hummed lightly.

Seeing this, Carter quickly followed Artes and said goodbye to Snape.

"Professor, goodbye."

"I'll see you at the beginning of the semester, Professor."

Snape nodded at them expressionlessly.

After the two agreed, they turned around and left Malfoy Manor.

After Ass and Carter were completely invisible, Lucius looked at his friend beside him teasingly, feeling quite emotional.

"I didn't expect that you, the headmaster of Slytherin, would be so successful and the students would listen to you so much."

Snape glanced at Lucius, not wanting to talk to him.

"I'm leaving too."

After leaving these words coldly, Snape rolled up his black robe and left Malfoy Manor.

Lucius and Draco were left staring at each other.

On the way back, Carter changed his mood from when he came. He was like a bee working hard to collect honey, buzzing, and kept mumbling Draco's interesting words in Ass's ear.

Asses walked around while dealing with the crazy Carter, humming from time to time.

Carter's madness continued until he returned to Cavendish Manor.

As soon as he stepped into the manor, he immediately gave up harming Asseth and instead went to harm Elise.

Asseth looked at his carefree back and doubted his own vision for the first time.

By the way, a moment of silence for Elise, who has had a hard time dealing with this annoying bee.

Aces shook his head and walked towards the manor.

-

Pleasant time always passes quickly, and the short vacation left passes by in a blink of an eye, and the day of school begins again in the blink of an eye.

Aces took Carter and Elise to platform nine and three-quarters again.

The platform was still as lively as when they entered school, packed with young wizards who had just entered school and parents sending their children to school.

The three of them avoided the crowd and arrived at Slytherin's box. They found a box near the front and walked in.

Before entering, Asseth habitually cast a confusion spell at the door.

It wasn't until they finished that they realized that no one would come into their box.

It went smoothly.

Aces held his forehead and walked directly into the box without looking at Carter's expressions. He took out a book and sat down by the window.

The two of them sat down opposite Artes and took out a book to read.

During the reading period, no one on the train came to disturb their reading, so they enjoyed themselves very much.

When the train stopped, the three of them put down their books and stood up and followed the crowd out of the train.

Get out of the train and out of the platform.

Only then did Aces and the others discover that there were many horseless carriages parked outside the platform.

Carter is already in the fourth grade. He has ridden in the carriage several times and is more familiar with the carriage than Aces and Elise.

So he took the lead in finding an unoccupied carriage, opened the curtain, and motioned for Asseth and the others to get on.

But Asseth did not get on the carriage immediately. Instead, he walked around the front of the carriage and observed something.

He felt the fluctuation of magic power in front of the carriage.
