HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 735: An early day (additional update on the 1rd day)

Early the next morning, the morning light faded, and the endless dark clouds broke through the sky, shooting out dazzling light and covering the earth with a hazy golden veil.

Cavendish Manor also woke up, and the house elves began to diligently prepare a delicious breakfast for the master of the manor this morning.

The sun shone through the window and shone on Susanna's face. She impatiently threw a pillow over, blocked the light leaking window, and then continued to sleep.

Half an hour later, the pillow fell off and the sun shone on the bed again. She touched the bed but couldn't find the pillow. She scratched her head irritably and opened her eyes.

Today was definitely the earliest day Susanna woke up. She got up at dawn, which was something she had never dared to think about before.

Yawning, Susanna climbed up from the bed with difficulty, reaching out and groping to get out of the bed.

She was not used to getting up early and was very sleepy. At this moment, her eyes had not been fully opened and she could not see the road clearly. She kicked the hard foot of the bed and her brain suddenly woke up.

"Holy shit! It hurts."

She hugged her injured foot, and the golden rooster jumped back and forth in the room.

After washing up early and going to have breakfast, Asses passed by and heard the sound, so he kindly came over and knocked on the door.

"What's wrong? Do you need help?"

Susanna threw herself onto the soft bed, bared her teeth, and said dully: "It's okay, I just bumped my foot. You go down first, I'll be fine soon."

Asses left convinced.

There was no sound outside the door. Susanna gritted her teeth and endured it for a while. After her toes stopped hurting so much, she got up and jumped up and down to wash herself.

Downstairs, Asseth and Joel, who were ready to go, were sitting face to face on the sofa waiting for Susanna to have breakfast. There were two gifts on the table next to them. The owners of the gifts looked at each other with a sure light in their eyes.

Susanna fiddled with it for a long time, picked out clothes and put on makeup, and walked downstairs.

Aces and Joel stood up at the same time and walked to the restaurant with Susanna who had just come down.

"When will Anna arrive?"

Susanna kept thinking. When she saw the fragrant breakfast on the table, she finally became more energetic. She walked over and picked up a piece of toast without adding jam, and put it in her mouth directly.

Joel glared at her, "Have a good breakfast, Anna won't be here soon."

"Okay, dear Mr. Butler, you have the final say." Susanna saluted in a decent manner, then took the cheese in her mouth and spread the jam.

On the other side, Voldemort and Herbo found the materials needed to exchange souls and returned to Malfoy Manor in the early morning light. When the Death Eaters saw their master, they cheered up and greeted them even though they were separated by a layer of black robes. Voldemort and Herbo return.

Voldemort waved them away and raised his feet to see Harry's condition.

Haierbo stretched out his snake tail to stop him.

"Still short of materials for the magic circle?"

The two of them went out just for the materials for the magic circle. Voldemort naturally thought that there was still a problem and stopped following Haierbo's obstruction.

"What else is missing?"

Haierbo rolled his eyes and followed Voldemort's words: "There is indeed a problem. Those materials need to be processed immediately. Do you expect me to use my tail to process it for you?"

He swung his tail and stirred up dust.

Voldemort was thoughtful, turned around and walked in the other direction, and also used the Mark of the Dark to notify the Potions Master, an expert in handling medicinal herbs.

Halbo spat out the letter and followed Voldemort's direction to the underground cell, where he saw the fake Harry huddled in the corner.

"It turns out that I'm here to save people. In that case, it's a good time to try the theoretical continuous soul exchange."

The snake's pupils shrank into a thin line, staring at the fake Harry with malicious teasing. A red light flashed, and the snakes in the cell seemed to be summoned, melting into blood one by one, and flowing into the fake Harry's body.

"Don't be exposed too early, my test subject, live a good life."

The characteristic hissing sound of snakes dissipated into the air.

The three of them went straight to the station after breakfast.

There were not many people at the station in the morning, only cleaning staff and a small number of passengers.

Most of them were sleepy, either yawning and cleaning or sitting on benches, waiting for the train to arrive.

Among this group of people who couldn't even open their eyes, the energetic Artes, Susanna and Joel stood out.

Especially Assis, who was wearing a slim-fitting black dark-patterned suit and a white shirt with a slightly open collar, revealing a small section of his collarbone. He was holding a bunch of light purple iris in his arms, looking intently at the empty track and the sunshine. On his face, he managed to attract the few awake eyes.

The train approached slowly, and Anna saw Asseth standing in the crowd at a glance. She quickly stood up and walked to the window, staring at her son whom she had not seen for a long time through a layer of gray glass.

It was always difficult to control her emotions during pregnancy, and the joy of surviving the disaster came to her heart. She suddenly covered her mouth, leaving only a pair of shining eyes exposed.

With a blink of an eye, tears slipped down.

"Fortunately, it's okay."

She suppressed her cry and raised her hand to touch Asseth who was looking over from a distance. Her fingertips slid back and forth, as if she wanted to touch his face.

"My child, I'm glad you're okay."

William stood behind her, put his arm around her shoulders, and patted her comfortingly.

"Okay, son, isn't this good? Stop crying. He will worry about you later. Besides, crying too much is not good for your health. You are still pregnant now."

Anna turned back and glared at him, out of anger, and pushed the hand on her shoulder away with a slap: "Don't talk to me. If it weren't for you, I would have seen Asseth the day before yesterday."

She tried to control her voice and keep it calm, but it was still choked and nasal.

There was no way William could be angry with her, so he could only raise his hands in resignation: "Okay, I won't say anything, just wipe your tears first, the train is about to stop."

The train roared, as if to cater to his words, Anna quickly took out a handkerchief and wiped it on both sides of her cheeks, lest she couldn't wipe it clean, she also took out a small mirror and wiped it against it.

Looking at his wife whose attention was diverted for a second, William couldn't help but curled his lips, his eyes full of tenderness.

Through the not-so-clean car window, the three of them saw Anna's tears and movements.

Asseth's calm face changed slightly, and he couldn't help but look at William with a bit of condemnation in his eyes. Joel was similar to him, but the condemnation in his eyes was heavier.

Susanna was the most direct. She was so angry that she grabbed her waist and pointed at William next to Anna in front of Artes and scolded him because he didn't cry with her and was watching with his hands raised.

Aces and Joel looked at each other, unable to understand this thought, and remained silent.
