HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 672 Review Meeting (Part )

The wind and snow outside gradually subsided, and the time came to eight o'clock in the evening. Aces and others rested their spirits in the room, and followed the staff sent by the Potions Association to guide them to a thick and imposing door.

"Mr. Cavendish, please forgive me. You are the only person applying for review. They may need to move to the position of the attending personnel."

The staff of the Potion Association stopped and stopped Gavin and others from moving forward, and the waiting staff stepped forward in response.

Aces gave Gavin a look. Gavin, who was a little nervous at first, immediately calmed down and led the others to leave with the staff.

Gavin's cooperation satisfied the staff sent by the Potion Association to entertain Asseth and wait for you. He stepped forward and opened the door for Asseth.

"Mr. Cavendish, the chairman and the elders are waiting for you inside. We also welcome you to the International Potions Association. I wish you all the best."

Aces politely thanked him for his blessing and walked into the conference hall that was open to him.

This is a huge conference hall full of historical traces, and red traces can be seen everywhere. It is completely different from the magnificent Czarist style outside, but more like a country that was defeated by the despicable desires of mankind.

The people inside heard the sound of the door opening and looked over early to examine Asseth who walked in.

Asser accepted their scrutiny calmly and walked to the center of the conference hall.

That's where he is today.

Behind him are the auditors seated, and in front are the chairman and elders.

Bradley raised his eyes and looked carefully at this young man who blatantly violated the rules of the International Potions Association.

The traces left by the years on this old man's face are obvious. A slight frown will cause a series of wrinkles, making him look particularly serious.

"Mr. Cavendish, the meeting hasn't started yet, how about we talk first?"

The old man's voice echoed through the conference hall.

Aces is incompetent.

Bradley didn't find any obvious guilt on Asseth's face. He trusted the news from individual elders a little more and deliberately lowered his voice.

"I am one hundred and eight years old, so I have the shamelessness to call you Asseth, cough, Asses, you and the family behind you really have no intention of taking the credit of others. Are you approved for this review?"

Although the voice was lowered, the old voice still reached everyone's ears clearly.

Asseth raised his head and looked at this fair and strict old man, and said solemnly: "Yes, I promise that I and the family behind me will have no selfish intentions, and all the honors I receive will belong to the true owner."

"well said!"

Bradley slammed the table hard, and the loud sound made the elder beside him tremble.

But the words that made them tremble were yet to come.

Bradley looked around the whole process and said without any doubt: "Then the content of this meeting will be changed to vote whether to agree to temporarily retain the review process, and honors will be awarded based on the results of the review."

The elders and the members below who were always preparing to vote were shocked. The two nearest vice-chairmen quickly grabbed Chairman Bradley.

"Chairman, wait a minute, we haven't finished asking other questions yet. Please wait until we finish asking before deciding whether to change the content of the meeting."

"I voted to reject it, Chairman. This is breaking the rules. What will happen next? Do we have to set a precedent like this every time?"

The two vice-chairmen, one on the left and the other on the right, kept persuading Bradley in his ears, but fearing that one of them might fail, Bradley announced the voting results out of thin air.

Aces quietly watched them pulling to the limit, and suddenly noticed a malicious gaze. He followed the feeling and saw an elder on the far left who was dressed incompatibly with the rest of the elders' table.

Seeing Asseth looking over, the elder from India grinned maliciously, dug his hands into his clothes, and took out a black bottle.

"Yes, Chairman, who knows whether what he said is true or false? Maybe we can let him use our specialty Veritaserum to ensure the authenticity of these words."

The vice chairman who spoke first turned dark and ignored Bradley who was about to break away, and turned his head and yelled angrily.

"Damn it, how dare you use those treacherous medicines to embarrass yourself?"

The other vice-chairman's face turned even more ugly, and he slapped the table fiercely: "You are a scum in the potions world. You play with those broken potions every day. Get out of the Potions Association immediately!"

Bradley happily broke free from his confinement, stood up and announced loudly: "This vote is over. No matter what the result is, I will bear all the consequences. Let's vote now."

The two vice-chairmen whose home was stolen: "!"

But now that the words have been spoken, they have no choice but to cast their votes in the voting, one for agreeing and the other for disagreeing.

Then they tacitly vented their anger on the Indian elders who interrupted their persuasion.

New and old grudges, the three of them had already taken out their magic wands before the votes were cast.

So Bradley, who had counted half of the votes, had to let Asses count the votes himself, and he acted as a peacemaker to stop the three.

Just as Asseth was about to count the votes, he saw Bradley, who was going to break up the fight, neatly took out his wand and cast a freezing spell on each of them to freeze the three people into ice sculptures.

Very well, finishing the fight first can be considered as breaking up the fight, as long as it doesn't start a fight.

Asseth finished counting the votes with a stiff smile and told Bradley the results.

The result is passed.

Bradley didn't look surprised. He pushed away the three ice sculptures that were in the way, took out the medal he had prepared and walked down in person, handing it to Asseth.

"I don't know your relationship with the owner of the medal, but seeing that after you were elected as a member of the International Federation of Wizards, you were willing to rush over in a snowstorm to attend the potion review meeting for him, I will give this medal to you, and you will Handed over to its true owner."

The old man's voice has always been loud, but now his voice is unexpectedly quiet, but it still carries the determination and unquestionability that has survived the years.

Aces solemnly accepted the exquisite medal, "Yes, I am very willing to complete this task."

The meeting ended too quickly, and Aces was a little out of sorts until he walked out of the conference hall door.

But the heavy, angular medal in his palm made him clearly realize that this was not a dream.

He had received the honor that belonged to the Potions Master, and would be able to hand it over to the Potions Master immediately.

After all, he did not let that expectation fall through.

Aces breathed a sigh of relief, and his whole body became relaxed, no longer feeling the tightness he felt before.

Gavin and others sat at the seats closest to the door and waited at the door as soon as the meeting ended.

Seeing Asseth coming out, they rushed forward to greet him, praising him, applauding him, and the admiration in their eyes almost bursting out of their pores.

Artes was so praised that he couldn't help but laugh. Just as he was about to stop him, Bradley, who had just come out, came over with a smile.

"What are you trying to stop them from doing? Isn't that right? Asses, you should be thick-skinned, otherwise you will be like that guy who can't apply for research funds and is too embarrassed to go and push for them."

Bradley pointed at a sad-looking man, laughing and pointing.
