HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 65 The mysterious professor

After standing at the gate of the manor for a while, Asseth turned back.

As soon as she walked into the living room, Anna appeared out of nowhere and stared at Asseth.

"Did you say bad things about me?"

Aces followed Carter's example and shrugged.

"If you're afraid of teaching that fact it's a bad word."

Anna's eyes widened, and she suddenly felt that it would be better for Artes to stay at Hogwarts.

The child has grown crooked and can be given away.

Anna thought angrily.

But Asseth knew that Anna wasn't angry.

And he seemed to be particularly naughty today. After Snape, Anna became the victim.

He asked curiously.

"Mom, I'm very curious about what that professor did to make you remember him for so many years."

“To this day, it’s uncomfortable to see the professor.”

Aces was really curious. Ever since he was a child, Anna would not tell him the reason, always saying that he was still young.

At first, he thought the professor had done something evil.

But later, it seemed that Anna's attitude didn't seem like she was afraid of the professor, but more like a mouse getting scared when it sees a cat.

This made Asseth even more curious as to what made the big-hearted Anna act like this.

Anna froze in place, as if recalling some bad memory, her brows were furrowed, and her expression was a bit hard to describe.

She glared at Asseth angrily.

"You can ask your dad this question."

What about my dad?

Aces was even more curious now.

In the evening, after everyone had finished their meal, Asses was waiting for the Duke's arrival in the study.

As soon as the Duke entered, he saw Asseth inside. He was a little confused, but he still walked in.

He sat down on the chair and looked at Asseth who was full of curiosity and asked in confusion.

"Aces? What do you want to see me for?"

Aces considered it for a moment and then spoke tentatively.

"Mom asked me to ask you questions, so I came here."

"Just ask."

The Duke did not yet realize the importance of the matter.

He picked up the tea and wine from the table and planned to have a rare heart-to-heart talk with his son.

"What did the professor that my mother was afraid of do that made her remember it for so many years?"

The Duke almost spat out the tea he took in, but he managed to maintain his composure and swallowed it.

"What did you say?"

"What professor?"

Aces was puzzled;

"You don't know? Mom said I could ask you."

The Duke coughed and avoided Asseth's expectant eyes.

"It's nothing special."

"Just little things, little things."

He tried to fool around.

Aces narrowed his eyes slightly when he saw the Duke's reaction.

What happened, the Duke and Anna never mentioned.

Seeing that the Duke couldn't get the answer, Assei bowed to the Duke and left.

On the way back to the bedroom, Asseth scratched his head and felt uncomfortable about this secret.

When I returned to the bedroom, I saw the letter on the table. I remembered something and called the house elf.

"Nina, call an owl for me."

Nina moved very quickly, but in just a moment, the white owl came to Asseth.

Aces fed it some snacks to calm it down, and then started writing a letter at the desk.

He wrote a lot of polite words eloquently, interspersed with two requests to meet.

perfect.

Finally, the recipient, Gellert Grindelwald.

Fold the written letter and place it on the owl's feet.

Open the window and the owl spreads its wings and flies away.

Looking at the dark night sky, Artes prayed silently that Grindelwald would stop clinging to Dumbledore, otherwise it would be more difficult for him to see Grindelwald.

Nurmengard

Two old men were doing their daily extreme push.

Suddenly, Grindelwald felt something and no longer wanted to retain Dumbledore, who was about to leave.

"Well, I'll see you next time, Albus, I'll miss you."

Dumbledore's eyes didn't mean anything, but he was still concerned about the content of the letter sent by Snape just now. He didn't stay any longer, summoned the phoenix and left.

After seeing Dumbledore leave, Grindelwald came to the window.

The owl cleverly stopped by the window sill without being noticed by Dumbledore.

After seeing Grindelwald, he came down and showed the letter on his feet.

Grindelwald took out the letter and opened it.

After reading it, I put the letter down unhappily.

He began to worry about how to get rid of Dumbledore.

His Albus is so smart, it's not easy to fool him, Grindelwald thought proudly and troubled.

The next day, before Grindelwald could think of a solution, he received news from Dumbledore.

He has something to do these days, so he won't come over.

Grindelwald held the letter in his hand.

Meditation, when did he have the ability to have his wishes come true?

Dumbledore on the other side faced the black-faced Potions Master and chose to surrender.

"Severus, I promise I won't disappear for so long. Look, my teeth-healthy potion?"

Dumbledore smiled at the Potions Master.

Snape's face was expressionless and impassive.

"Impossible, this month's teeth-healthy potion is gone."

Dumbledore looked sad, his teeth.

Seeing that the Potions Master was determined not to give him the potion, Dumbledore could only admit defeat and sit in the Headmaster's office dejectedly.

Snape couldn't bear to see him like this and taunted him.

"Why, old bee can't live without dessert?"

Dumbledore took Snape's venom well.

"Severus, don't be like this. I remember you also like to eat syrup towers."

Snape's eyes were blank for a moment, and Gujing said without wavering,

"You're wrong, I don't like it anymore."

Dumbledore looked at his face, sighed and spoke.

"You still can't get out? Severus."

Snape remained silent, not wanting to answer the question.

Seeing this, Dumbledore stopped asking questions and turned to the news brought by Karkaroff.

"Severus, have you felt anything before?"

Snape lifted up his sleeves, revealing the black symbol.

"It's been getting clearer all the time, so I didn't pay too much attention to it before, so I don't know if it suddenly became much clearer some time ago."

Dumbledore pushed up his glasses and leaned closer to take a closer look at the symbol on Snape's hand.

"Well, his strength is returning."

Snape interrupted impatiently.

"I'm not stupid enough not to know that his strength is returning. Now I want to know how much time we have."

Dumbledore understood Snape's mood and quickly spoke to calm the Potions Master's irritable mood.

"Don't worry, Severus. From what I've seen, it will take him a long time to regain his strength."

Hearing Dumbledore's answer, Snape felt a little relieved.

But he still looked unfazed.

Dumbledore stroked his beard and spoke suddenly.

"Severus, how is that boy Cavendish?"
