HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 58 Investment on the Train

Enter the Hogwarts Express.

Fred and George walked through carriage after carriage, finally stopping at the door of Slytherin's carriage.

They hesitated at the door of the carriage for a while, and finally walked in as if they were dead.

Two lions breaking into a little snake's territory is undoubtedly a sheep entering a tiger's mouth.

As soon as they entered, they received everyone's attention.

"Look what I found, two stupid lions."

"How did you get into our carriage?"

A few senior snakes came out for some air and gathered around after seeing the out of place figures of Fred and George.

Fred pulled George back two steps to avoid their encirclement.

Then he looked nervously at the little snakes around him and clenched the cloth bag in his hand.

"We are here to find Asseth."

"We are friends."

Hearing this, the little snakes around them didn't bother to look at them and smiled in amusement.

A small number of well-informed little snakes realized something and quietly backed away from participating in the matter.

"Just you? Red-haired Weasley?"

"I heard that you can hardly afford to eat."

Scattered laughter came from all around.

The little snakes obviously didn't want to let these two lions break into their territory.

"I advise you not to target them. They were really close to that person before."

Suddenly, a calm voice came from the side.

The speaker was Du Wa, a fourth grader. He stopped flipping through the book and raised his eyes to scan the little snakes around him with cold eyes.

He had indeed stumbled across the two lions with Cavendish before.

After hearing his words, most of the little snakes hesitated and retreated.

Their families have made it known not to offend Cavendish's heir.

"Hmph, you're lucky."

After leaving these words, the little snakes dispersed in a hurry.

Fred and George breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed their grip on their hands.

They all looked at Du Wa and were about to say thank you when they heard Du Wa's voice.

"There's no need to say thank you, it's just a small effort."

Dua didn't look at them, but seemed to guess their movements.

"You're going to find Cavendish? They're in the front carriage."

"Thank you."

The twins looked at each other and thanked each other in unison.

Dua paused while turning the book and nodded slightly.

The little snakes were fairly well-informed, and no little snake intercepted Fred and George along the way, and they reached the frontmost carriage smoothly.

Just as he stood still, before they could knock on the door, the door opened from the inside.

When Carter opened the door, he saw two red-haired lions and almost wondered if he was in the wrong car.

He looked at Fred and George cautiously and asked.

"What's the matter with you?"

"We are here to find Asseth."

George opened his mouth to explain, looking over Carter's shoulder and looking at Arthur who was reading inside.

When Asseth heard the sound, he put down his book and looked up.

"Let them in, Carter."

Hearing Asseth speak, Carter immediately turned aside to let them in.

Fred and George quickly squeezed into the car. Although there were no snakes to trouble them, the walkway outside made them feel very unsafe.

As soon as the twins came in, they couldn't help but start to complain, and they kept talking with their little mouths.

"Merlin, Asseth, you almost never see us again."

"Just a little bit."

Fred made a gesture, 100 million dots.

Hearing this, Asseth put down the book.

"what happened?"

The twins hurriedly told what had just happened.

While telling stories, I didn’t forget to say hello to Elise by the window.

Carter, who was in the audience, almost laughed out loud after hearing this.

"You two lions are not afraid of death when you come to our Slytherin carriage."

"Aren't we here to send galleons to Asseth?"

"We've never had an opportunity before."

George and Fred weakly shook the bags in their hands.

Carter took a quick look and knew that the Galleons inside didn't even have his monthly pocket money, but he didn't say anything.

Fred solemnly handed the bag in his hand to Asseth.

"This is the galleons we earned from buying the notebooks. The total is forty-three galleons."

“We only kept a third for ourselves as legwork expenses.”

Aces took the bag from Fred's hand, weighed it, took a hundred gold galleons from his arms, put it in, and then handed the bag back to Fred.

Fred's eyes widened and he was speechless as he looked at the bag in his hand.

George behind him couldn't take his eyes away from the bag in Fred's hand.

"Aces? What does this mean?"

Faced with the twins' doubts, Asses remained calm.

"You don't have to be burdened. These gold galleons are an investment for you because I think you have a lot of potential."

investment?

Fred and George looked at each other.

After hearing this, Elise, who was beside Artes, raised her head and looked at Fred and George seriously, and secretly made up her mind to be more considerate towards them in the future.

Carter, who was watching on the sidelines, curled his lips. Mr. was perfunctory and not serious. Who would believe this?

Fred and George obviously thought so too.

Fred's hand held the bag tightly and loosely, then loosened and tightened again, and finally stuffed the bag into Ases.

"Um...Athes, we can't have these Galleons."

Asseth looked around the carriage. Elise was the only one in the carriage who believed what he said, feeling a little helpless.

What he said was true, why didn't anyone believe it?

He handed over the bag again.

"I'm not lying to you, I really think highly of you."

"You have a flexible mind, have a bottom line when doing things, and keep your promises."

“I know I can find ways to share the burden at home.”

"Fun but measured, not as reckless as Gryffindor."

Assel paused, looking a little horrified.

Because the two lions in front of him were crying and reaching out to hug him.

Merlin, why does the lion want to hug when he is excited?

The twins didn't know Asses' inner collapse, they were being moved.

This is the first time someone understands them and doesn't think they are causing trouble.

It was so touching that he even praised them.

Not even their mother praised them that much.

Aces stood up in a hurry to avoid the twins' attack.

"Next time, all Galleons will be taken back."

It has to be said that Asses knows the two lions very well.

Hearing the seriousness in Asseth's tone, the two lions immediately put away their sinful little hands and sat upright.

"So this is an investment. If you feel embarrassed, you can return it to me later."

Fred held the cloth bag in his hand and nodded fiercely, promising that they would not make Ass regret it in the future.

After seeing the twins accept it, Asseth sat down again.

Fred and George took the galleons and were a little embarrassed to say goodbye, but they were really not suitable for the snake's den, and they were a little restless for a while.

Asses saw their discomfort and did not hold them back. He turned around and ordered Elise to send them back.

In case another little snake scares them, it is just a good way to let the little snakes know that the twins are his friends and cannot be touched casually.
