HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 561 Zafar loves learning

While talking, they came to the deepest part of the Unicorn Valley. Snape looked up and saw a small wooden house surrounded by flowers and grass.

There is a small pool at the door of the cabin, connected to the stream. There is a slightly raised terrain in the middle, and the clear stream flows down, forming a small waterfall.

The splashing water creates a dense mist, which nourishes the plants growing nearby. The plants are so moist that they become lush and green, raising their heads high and competing for the sunshine.

Butterflies and bees of strange colors surround them, working diligently to add the final touch of color to this vibrant scene.

"I had a feeling a while ago that a distinguished guest would come to my door, and today I've been waiting for it."

The tall unicorn, who exuded the kindness and gentleness of his elders, stood beside the wooden house, looking at Cynthia and Snape calmly and lovingly.

"Since our distinguished guests have come from afar, if you don't mind, why don't you come in and have a glass of water?"

Snape looked at Zafar carefully.

It has been several years since I last saw Zafar. Time has diluted many traces and left many traces, but Zafar remains the same as before, unchanged.

Is this the unicorn elder who has lived for who knows how many years?

Zafar was older and saw no difference between Snape and Cynthia next to him. They were both looking at the cubs.

Unicorn reproduction is difficult, and every cub is precious.

So Zafar has a high tolerance for cubs.

Seeing that Snape seemed to be looking at it curiously, he let it look at it and even turned it in a circle.

So that Snape could see more clearly.

"Don't you remember me? Severus, I'm Zafar. We met outside. I isolated the blessing in your hand for you."

Snape came back to his senses, and somehow faced Zafar's elder-like enthusiasm, and said stiffly: "I remember that I was thinking about other things just now. I'm sorry."

Zafar ignored Snape's behavior and tone and continued to invite him and Cynthia in to drink water.

Cynthia had been waiting impatiently. As soon as she heard that Zafar's greeting included it, she immediately ran over and bumped into Zafar hard.

"Father! I thought you had forgotten me!"

Zafar steadily received Cynthia's powerful impact and nuzzled Cynthia's head good-naturedly.

"How could my eldest father forget you?"

Cynthia chuckled and said, "It's not like a cub was born in the clan. The eldest father always doesn't come to see me or help me. I'm tired of taking care of them all by myself."

After complaining for a while, it turned to call Snape, "Severus, come quickly."

Snape followed the two unicorns into the cabin. To his surprise, there were two decent solid wood chairs and a table with some open books on them.

His expression was not concealed, and Zafar and Cynthia immediately noticed his surprise.

Cynthia raised her head proudly.

"Those are Great Father's books. Great Father said that as a beast with ideals, one must constantly learn new knowledge and accumulate experience."

Zafar nodded, "Severus, I heard that you are a professor at Hogwarts, so I think you should understand that knowledge will never betray you."

Snape nodded, "Of course."

Zafar was very happy that he finally had a studious guest here. He quickly cleaned the table and put three cups on it.

"This is the water from the creek outside. It is clean and very sweet. They like to drink it when they come to my place. You try it first. After you try it, I will ask you a few potion questions."

Potion...problem?

Snape didn't expect that there were unicorns who were so dedicated to learning that they were so much better than those students who sat in the classroom with their brains flying around and frequently making mistakes in the simplest places. He was a little speechless for a moment.

Sensing Snape's shock, Zafar pushed the cup over in amusement.

"I like to study, and naturally I also like to read books. It's just that reading books is not enough for some problems. Occasionally, I need a teacher's guidance."

Snape kept in mind the purpose of coming here and did not want to refuse Zafar. He was about to nod. His eyes touched Cynthia's desperate wink and his movements paused.

"I'm just a little potions professor, not a guide."

Zafar glanced at the troubled Cynthia gently and said, "Although I am older, this is my first time learning potions, and you know more about potions than me. Even if I really recognize you as a teacher, it is normal. "

Its voice was calm and not uncomfortable at all, and it was obvious that it was a true idea.

Snape picked up the cup and took a sip. Just as Zafar said, the water was very sweet.

After he finished drinking, Zafar asked a few difficult questions that could not be understood by just reading.

Remembering that he was here to seek help, the Potions Master was very patient. He broke down the questions that Zafar didn't understand and explained them in detail, and his tone was very calm.

If the young wizards at Hogwarts saw how patient the Potions Professor looked, they would probably wonder if their Potions Professor was controlled by the Imperius Curse.

After Snape finished explaining, Zafar straightened out his thoughts, came to the table with satisfaction, lowered his head, and his horn lit up with silver light and lit on the table.

An open book flew up from the table and hung in front of Zafar, turning the pages with a hum.

"If it were before, I couldn't guarantee whether it could be unlocked, but it's different now. I saw a method in a book that might be able to unlock that layer of restrictions."

Snape was slightly startled, he hadn't thought about how to say it yet, how did Zafar know.

"You... know the purpose of my coming?"

"The people who can come to me are usually things that only I can do. The only thing I can do is related to you. That should be the only thing I can do."

Zafar looked at the book and concentrated on answering Snape's questions patiently.

Cynthia winked at Snape proudly, "My eldest father is so smart, he can guess right every time."

Zafar glanced at it helplessly, "You are not young anymore, why do you still like to play these tricks?"

After saying that, it looked at Snape again.

"You are sure to untie it. There will be no room for regret after this time."

Snape took off his silver alchemy ring and looked at Zafar seriously, "I'm sure."

"Okay, one thing I want to state in advance is that if the other party is unwilling to accept it, then this time it will be a complete failure and will not be solved in the future. Are you sure about this?"

"determine."

"Another point--"

Before Zafar could finish his words, he was interrupted by anxious Cynthia.

"Oh, Father, didn't you say there is only one point? We can't find Asseth. He must be waiting for us to rescue him. Let's hurry up, okay?"

Zafar stomped his hoof angrily.

"You little girl are impatient all day long and can't stop at all. How many times have I told you to be patient. You are the leader of the clan. If you don't have patience, how can they be willing to believe you?"

Cynthia had been lectured a lot and was not afraid of Zafar at all. She tilted her head and leaned in to act coquettishly.

"Isn't it just me, eldest father, and Severus? They won't know. Besides, Artes is still waiting for us. What if he is in danger?"
