HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 538 Principal’s Lover

"Dumbledore is suspected of being a night lover?"

Draco nearly spit out the milk he just drank. After swallowing it with difficulty, he pointed to the newspaper on the table in disbelief and asked Elise next to him.

"Whoever wrote this report is crazy!"

His exclamation seemed to be the first syllable of a piece of music, and all kinds of strange exclamations came one after another.

"Merlin's big nose, our principal has a lover? Principal Dumbledore has a lover!?"

"How is that possible! Male or female? How old are they? Where do they live and what do they do?"

The little lion that jumped up was incredible.

The calmer Ravenclaw next to him pushed up his non-existent glasses.

"There is a question. Our principal has a lover. How could we not know about it? He seems to be away from Hogwarts recently."

The little eagles looked at each other, and the evidence they found overturned their own words.

A little badger who had mixed up with the eaglets raised his hand tremblingly, attracting the attention of others.

"Actually, it's strange that none of our professors have partners, right? After all, they are so old."

The other eaglets thought about it and thought it made sense.

The little badger was encouraged to continue expressing his thoughts.

"You see, Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, Professor Sprout, Professor Snape, and other professors all seem to be the same person. So, all the professors at Hogwarts are single?"

Everyone was shocked.

It seems...that's really the case?

Suddenly, the gaze he cast on the professor's desk changed.

Isn't this a proper lonely old man?

Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick stopped for a moment while applying jam. They felt that there was something wrong with the way the students below looked at them, but they couldn't put their finger on it.

Snape, who was concentrating on reading the Daily Prophet, did not notice their chat. He only vaguely heard Draco's question and nodded silently, agreeing with what he said.

It's a bit crazy, but it might be true.

The potion master who knew Grindelwald compared the vague back of Grindelwald in the daily newspaper with the back of Grindelwald in his memory, and came to a conclusion.

Well, it's absolutely true.

Draco below didn't know if he felt Snape's approval, but he looked over and made eye contact with Snape who put down the daily newspaper.

Draco was startled, smiled warmly at Snape, and looked away.

"I suddenly remembered something, Elise, do you remember Ass's cousin?"

Draco's eyes widened with excitement, as if he had discovered a new world.

"I bet a hundred gold galleons that this report is definitely closely related to her."

Elise took the daily newspaper and fell into silence when she looked at the photos at a tricky angle, which looked like they were not photos that ordinary people could take.

This... seems to have been taken by Suzanne herself.

After all, not everyone can follow Dumbledore without being discovered and take pictures.

This little episode dispelled the lingering drowsiness hanging over the auditorium.

Everyone headed to the classroom in high spirits, chatting along the way.

The theme mostly revolves around Dumbledore and his mysterious lover who only has a back view.

A small number of them are concerned about the emotional life of their deans or professors, and wish they could find someone to spend their next life with right now.

The innocent and young little wizard is at the age when his hormones explode, and he is particularly interested in such things.

After mentally laughing at Dumbledore for not being able to avoid being photographed, Snape stood up and left the auditorium.

Avoiding the crowded road, he slowly returned to the cellar, replied a letter to Asseth, and then walked slowly from the cellar to the Potions classroom.

The Potions classroom was a little more lively than usual. The voices of people chatting and talking emerged from the crack in the door. Words such as lover, professor, and partner were mixed in, and there seemed to be sentences lamenting that the professor was single and guessing the reason.

Snape didn't care about other people's opinions, but that didn't mean he could tolerate hearing such gossip during class.

He grimaced and pushed open the wooden door of the Potions classroom. The wooden door creaked, and the eerie sound instantly attracted everyone's attention.

It was common knowledge that the Potions Master was in a bad mood recently, so the little wizards calmed down in a sensible manner.

Snape glanced at them coldly.

"There will be no next time you discuss professors behind their backs, otherwise I will have to ask you to leave my classroom."

The little wizards remained silent, even the platinum young master who had been arrogant and domineering during this period also kept his mouth shut.

Snape was satisfied with his deterrence and closed the door with his backhand.

"Although I don't mean to repeat this paragraph again, unfortunately, I have to warn you that next June, you will take a very important exam, and I don't want any of you to fail, even if it is... It’s not even close to passing.”

The Potions Master's gaze calmly passed over Harry and landed on Neville behind him.

"I know that many of you do not have enough ability to carry out the next study. Therefore, all I ask of you is to persevere through this year."

"In one year, the magic potion will be able to get rid of you, and I don't need to teach you any more. In one year, you should be able to persevere."

Snape's voice was almost soft.

Neville trembled under his gaze, almost burying his head under the table.

He tried his best, but he was really indifferent to potions and there was nothing he could do.

The despairing Neville buried his head and endured the Potions Master's gaze.

"Okay, let's go to class. Today you need to prepare a magic potion to calm anxious mood - the demulcent."

When it came to the demulcent, Snape's tone was a little softer, and then he waved his wand, and the materials and methods required to prepare the demulcent appeared on the blackboard.

After explaining the precautions, Snape opened the cabinet where the potion materials were placed.

"You can start now. I will check your results in an hour and a half."

The little wizards followed the instructions and began to select materials.

Snape didn't treat himself badly at all. He made a comfortable and soft sofa and sat down to read.

Except for checking in on Neville from time to time, all his attention was on the book.

Hermione was making rapid progress and had prepared the potion ten minutes before the end of get out of class, while Ron and Harry next to her were still busy stirring the cauldron.

Ignoring Ron's look for help, Hermione walked up and handed the prepared potion to Snape.

Snape glanced up at her from the book. After seeing the color and completion of the potion, he raised his chin at her and motioned for her to put the potion away and leave.

Hermione walked towards the wooden box where the potions were placed, and as she left, she accidentally saw the title of the book in Snape's hand.
