HP: Embrace the Darkness
Chapter 443: Day 1 of Resurrection
The morning stars are sparse and the sun is rising.
Consciousness returned to the body, and the pain, like broken bones and broken souls, spread again as he regained consciousness. Aces opened his eyes lazily, adapting well to this pain.
He stared blankly at the ceiling for a while, and the memory of last night slowly came back to him.
Voldemort was resurrected, and the news of the resurrection came out. The warnings and facts made Voldemort avoid the enemy, stabilize his heart of seeking refuge with his family, try out the answers he wanted, and successfully win over Rowena. Everything was according to plan.
Then it hurts, a lot.
And he hugged Sif, no, it was Sif who hugged him... Well... Rowena should have been there at that time, but it didn't matter. What happened next?
The memory is blank up to this point.
Aces looked through the memories in his brain over and over again, but couldn't find that small memory.
"The brain's protective mechanism? Fainted?"
He analyzed the reason for losing his memory last night and couldn't help but think of the vague warmth he felt last night.
This kind of warmth does not exist in the memory but is engraved in the body, and it still has a sweet feeling.
He suddenly thought of something and pushed himself up.
His eyes immediately caught Snape sleeping on the sofa, and he instantly understood where the nostalgic warmth came from.
Artes carefully sat down on Snape's left side, unfolded his black robe to embrace the two people, raised his left hand to tidy up the hair that was dangling playfully, and then pulled the person into his arms.
Although the pain all over my body is not as overwhelming as last night, there is still some lingering pain.
The pain was lighter than last night, and it was okay to accept it, but it affected Artes's judgment - he used too much force, and Snape almost hit the sofa, but he blocked it with his hands.
After such a big move, Snape didn't even wake up, which made Artes feel strange.
After helping the man, he looked closely at his face.
The potion master's eyes were obviously black and blue, and his breathing was even. It looked like he had stayed up for most of the night and fell asleep at dawn.
Asseth hugged the man into his arms distressedly, laughing at himself that he couldn't bear this, so how could he bear it then.
The sofa is not big, and two grown men can't turn over on it, so they can only lie sideways.
Artes left most of the space for Snape, letting him lie down comfortably, while he hung half of his body out, supporting his head and waiting for him to wake up.
Snape didn't know how long he slept.
When I regained consciousness, the breath close to my ears was extremely hot. Half of my body was pressed against the stove, making it steamy. The other side of my body was pressed against the back of the sofa, which was cold in comparison.
"Aces?"
Aces had been staring at Snape, and he knew it as soon as he woke up.
"It's me, Sev."
Snape was stunned for two seconds. It had been too long since he had stayed up all night, and now he suddenly felt a little unbearable.
"what time is it?"
"At half past eight, go to bed, it's none of our business."
Aces sat up slightly and stretched out his fingers to gently massage Snape's temples.
He accidentally learned this massage technique from Susanna. He tried it himself and felt good about it.
Snape's body stiffened for a moment, and then he wanted to hide away, but the sofa was only such a big place, and he was sleeping in it, so there was no place to hide.
After wasting this little time, the massage technique started to work, and the sleepiness that had not completely dissipated gathered again, even more violently than before.
Snape held his eyelids up with difficulty, struggling in the oncoming sleepiness, raised his hands and turned his body sideways, and moved a little further inside.
"Come to sleep."
Aces followed his words and moved closer, his hands moving constantly, with gentle movements and moderate strength.
The humanoid pillow is here.
Snape took off the strength to support his body and pressed down on Asseth. His eyelids did not show any intention of struggling and simply closed them.
Aces half hugged him and continued massaging with one hand.
After a while, he closed his eyes too.
On the first day after Voldemort's resurrection, Artes and Snape stole a free morning in the safe house and slept comfortably until they woke up naturally.
On the other side, the interrogation has just ended.
Rowena, as Snape, went to see little Barty being caught last night, delivered Veritaserum, and tried his best to fulfill his duties as a potions professor.
After being busy for most of the night, sending students to St. Mungo's and comforting the fearful and panicked students, Dumbledore was unable to explore whether there was anything wrong with "Snape" being so active today. He simply attributed him to being angry and taking advantage of others. Barty vents his anger on the cavalcade.
Dumbledore poured all the Veritaserum into little Barty's mouth and dug out what he wanted with sharp words.
Taking into account the presence of "Snape", Dumbledore brushed off little Barty's escape from Cavendish Manor without asking too much detail.
Even if I didn't ask too much, little Barty himself revealed a lot of complaints about Cavendish Manor.
Dumbledore was forced to listen to Barty Jr.'s abuse of Joel and others for more than ten minutes.
Another hour passed, and Dumbledore dug out everything Barty knew.
Little Barty retreated successfully, his head hanging down as he was dragged down by the Aurors headed by Moody.
"Severus, how is Professor Cavendish? Is he injured? Is he okay?"
After finishing everything, Dumbledore finally had time to care about the alchemy professor who disappeared as soon as he came back.
Whatever "Snape" could say, she herself was lying, so she recalled Artes' situation, hiding most of it, and picked out a few unimportant words.
Dumbledore didn't know whether he believed it or not, so he nodded and asked no more questions.
"That boy Cedric kept talking for a long time at St. Mungo's last night. He said he wanted to confirm with his own eyes the safety of Professor Cavendish. You can tell him this."
"Snape" was about to agree when he suddenly remembered that he was an impostor. The real owner should be together now, and he couldn't make decisions for them.
"Severus?"
Not hearing "Snape", Dumbledore gave him a strange look.
"Snape" had no choice but to agree.
Dumbledore still felt something was wrong
Whenever it came to Artes, Snape's temper was always not very good. He refused everything he could, and he refused everything he couldn't. His tone and words were as ugly as possible, and he showed no emotion at all.
The Potions Master seems to be particularly talkative today?
Dumbledore asked tentatively: "Severus, would you like to accompany me to visit Professor Cavendish?"
"Snape" regretted taking on this trouble.
She quietly took a deep breath and thought about it in her mind. If she was with her lover, she would definitely not want outsiders to disturb her.
"Snape" suddenly darkened his face.
" He does not need it."
Dumbledore touched his beard and didn't mind Snape's attitude at all. Instead, he felt that Snape like this was normal and nodded happily.
"In that case, forget it."
