HP: Embrace the Darkness
Chapter 372 Chaos Begins
The location of Fudge's box was excellent, and he could basically overlook the entire scene. Snape had discovered this just now when he habitually observed the surroundings.
Sitting below on the right are the three Potters and the Weasley family.
Now under the charm of the Veela, the stupid Potter had completely lost his mind and was trying to climb over the box in an attempt to fall into the arms of the Veela.
Snape sneered lowly, his face full of gloating and malice at seeing the savior make a fool of himself.
Following Snape's gaze, Artes also saw Harry and Ron losing their temper.
"Stupid, huh?"
The double agent was very keen, and coupled with his familiarity with Asseth's gaze, he noticed it as soon as he looked over.
In Artes's heart, Harry was nothing compared to Snape, so he naturally would not refute Snape's words now.
So he smiled and nodded, "Indeed."
Satisfied with the approval, the Potions Master turned his head and continued to watch Harry make a fool of himself, patting back the hand that was stretched out from him.
The Veela performance was coming to an end, and the people who had lost control gradually regained their senses.
Harry was awakened by Hermione's voice.
When he was awake, his feet were already halfway out of the box, and he was only just a little bit able to climb over. Ron next to him was in a similar situation.
The Veelas left one after another, and there were some sighs and dissatisfied curses in the stadium.
But none of this will stop the next team’s mascot from entering.
The next one is the Irish team’s mascot, a leprechaun who scatters gold coins in the sky.
The little green leprechaun flew around in the air, grabbed a handful of gold coins from his pocket and sprinkled them down. It seemed like a golden rain fell on the entire stadium.
There was much less cheering this time.
Most people know that the gold coins produced by leprechauns disappear after a few hours.
However, there are also a small number of people who don't know. They are ecstatic when they see the gold coins. They frantically pick up the gold coins on the ground and stuff them into themselves, and compete with the people around them.
When Arthur saw that Ron was one of them, he picked up the gold coins and stuffed them into his pocket. He also grabbed a handful and stuffed them into Harry's hand next to him.
Snape saw it too.
"It seems that their poor knowledge did not tell them that these gold coins would disappear."
Assass nodded and agreed with Snape's words as usual.
After the little leprechauns rained gold coins, they circled a few more times before slowly flying back.
Coming out next is the Quidditch team.
Aces is not very concerned about the game. He is thinking about the chaos that will happen at some point.
He regretted not stopping Snape from coming here. Although Voldemort had not been fully resurrected, his annoying minions would release the Mark of the Dark.
If Snape is unhappy, there will be one more reason for Voldemort's death.
The little notebook in my heart silently held grudges, and the two souls still in the pure white space trembled all over. They always felt a chill on their necks, as if they were about to be disconnected in the next second.
They looked at each other with sadness.
The game was in full swing, and the German Minister of Magic had already moved to the front, staring intently at the situation on the field, mumbling and cheering for the team he was optimistic about.
Snape, like Aces, didn't pay attention to the game. He only looked up when cheers broke out.
As time went by, the two teams became more and more aggressive, with someone injured almost every ten minutes.
Snape snorted coldly, making no secret of his displeasure at this barbaric sport.
Artes was somewhat lucky that Snape didn't like the excitement and chose a corner with him by his side. Otherwise, in a place where Quidditch's emotions were completely aroused, conflicts would most likely break out.
Ireland was victorious.
They beat Bulgaria by ten points.
The Irish supporters cheered loudly, while the Bulgarian supporters looked angrily as others cheered.
In the stadium, cheers belonging to Ireland could be heard endlessly.
When their excitement subsided, Fudge stood up and declared Ireland's victory.
The cheers that had just calmed down broke out again.
"Ireland! Ireland!"
"Ireland! Ireland!"
The cheers drowned out all sounds, and no one noticed the screams mixed in.
No one knows where the chaos began or when it spread.
But it spread extremely quickly.
The cheers soon turned into a chaotic cacophony of footsteps and screams and curses.
Fudge's box was high and far away. He was so absorbed in talking and shaking hands with the two teams that he didn't notice the chaos below.
The door of the gymnasium was rushed open by the crowd, and everyone was running like a honeycomb, squeezing towards the door.
Soon, a third of the people in the gym ran out, and it was then that Fudge realized something was wrong.
But it was too late.
People are very good at following trends.
The gymnasium was no longer as lively as before. Nearly half of the crowd ran out of the door, and the remaining people were also crazily squeezing in that direction.
The sky is filled with black mist.
A sinister symbol gradually takes shape.
The box door was slammed open, and the person who came was Gavin from the Raven Team.
Ignoring the surprised looks from others, Gavin quickly came to Asseth's side, bent down and whispered.
"Master, here we come."
Aces frowned, the time was wrong, it was different from what he saw.
"Take a few people to see it."
Gavin nodded and ignored everyone and left the box.
Everyone was staring at Asseth, but Fudge was the first to hold back.
"Master Cavendish——"
Before he could finish his words, he was interrupted by Lucius getting up.
The logo took shape, floating unbridled in the air, announcing its presence.
The one who reacted the most was not Lucius who stood up, nor Snape who tensed his body, but Fudge, whose expression turned gloomy and terrifying almost instantly.
He couldn't care less about the team now and started shouting outside.
Leave it to the Aurors to catch the person who put out the sign.
After a while, there was only a sparse crowd left in the stadium, and the screams subsided.
Artes closed his eyes, but his hand rested comfortingly on Snape's arm, covering the spot where the mark was left.
"It's okay, it's not him."
After receiving the message from Artes, Snape's ready-to-go arms slowly relaxed.
In the box, Fudge's anxiety was visible to the naked eye, and the atmosphere in the box was also dull.
The two Bulgarian officials frowned, "What happened?"
What they blurted out was English.
Fudge couldn't believe what language he heard. He had just struggled to understand what they were saying, and it turned out that they spoke English.
"You speak English? So you did it on purpose."
The two Bulgarian officials looked at each other and nodded.
