HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 367 The Quidditch World Cup is about to begin

When Asseth looked in the mirror, Susanna seemed to have encountered some problem, frowning and thinking hard.

Finally, she remembered something.

"Aces, wait for me."

Like a gust of wind, she flew outside, leaving Asseth and the mirror looking at each other.

After a while, she turned back and handed an item to Asseth's hand.

"Quick, take it with you and give it a try."

Aces looked down and saw a pair of monocles with a silver chain hanging on them.

He was not in the habit of wearing this, nor had he ever worn it before. With Susanna's help, he struggled for a while before he managed to put it on.

As soon as he put it on, Suzanne smiled so hard that her eyes went blind and she clapped her hands with joy.

"Right, it feels right."

Now Asseth is wearing a black suit, with his shirt buttoned to the top and his collar fixed by a silver chain collar pin. The coat of the same color is naturally open, revealing the stars of the suit jacket underneath.

Various accessories are perfectly embellished on it, echoing each other, and the monocle on the bridge of the nose directly enhances the person's aura.

He is stern and serious yet casual, and he is wanton but also has a coldness that prevents strangers from getting close to him.

This is the effect Suzanne wanted.

so perfect.

It would be even more perfect if the buttons were opened a few more times.

Susanna stepped forward and arranged the clothes on Asseth's body, unbuttoning a few buttons to reveal her collarbone.

"That's it! Asses, I guarantee you can charm half of the people on the court that day."

Aces fiddled with the chain on the side of his face and said calmly: "I don't need it."

What's the use of charming so many people, not to mention it's not sure if Sif will go to the Quidditch World Cup.

He would only wear this outfit if he was sure he was going, otherwise he would show it to someone.

If Sif doesn't want to go, it's not impossible to go to Spider End Alley.

Thinking about it this way, it seems that it would be better to wear it in private, but wouldn't it be too deliberate?

Ace thought for a moment, and finally decided to do what he had just thought. If Snape didn't go to the Quidditch World Cup, he would go to Spider-End Alley.

Time passed quietly.

Not long ago, Asseth was running back and forth between Cavendish Manor and Spider End Lane.

Later, he found it troublesome and left all the trivial matters at hand to Joel.

Joel was busy for several days and did not come back. He observed for a few days and then moved to Spider End Alley as a matter of course.

Not to mention at night, you can't find anyone else during the day either.

It wasn't until one day later that he was invited by Lucius, and he had to walk out of Spider-End Alley and go to Malfoy Manor.

"Long time no see, Aces."

Lucius was waiting in the hall and saw Asseth standing up to greet him warmly.

Aces had the same enthusiastic smile on his face, "Oh Lucius, the alchemy robe on you looks really good."

He was worried about how to trick Snape, but he didn't expect Lucius to send it to him.

There were not many people who could send invitations, unless they were going to watch the game. If it was a formal invitation, then Snape would only have the Malfoy family around him.

Lucius was caught off guard by Artes' enthusiasm, but he quickly reacted and took Artes to the study with a smile on his face.

The main reason for inviting Aces over was for the Quidditch World Cup in a few days.

There was a lot of traffic during those days, and all of them were people with prominent status, which was very suitable for the relationship between Draco and Artes to come into their sight.

Aces didn't have any objections. He originally wanted to use Fudge and the German Minister of Magic to publicize the relationship between Draco and him that day.

The two hit it off immediately and discussed everything that could happen to ensure that nothing went wrong.

While chatting, Lucius suddenly remembered the speculation he made a few days ago. Instead of making random guesses, he might as well ask the person involved.

"Aces, you borrowed my seal some time ago..."

Lucius didn't say the rest. He believed that Asseth could understand what he meant.

Arthur did not intend to expose their relationship to others without Snape's consent.

The last time was to warn Dumbledore, but even so, he only revealed his unilateral thoughts.

Aces smiled, with a bit of ridicule in his smile, "Lucius, you can't do it. Why are you so ill-informed and don't know about such great good things?"

Lucius was stunned for a moment, "What good thing?"

"I won't go into too much detail. I can only tell you that sometimes necessary investment can bring great returns."

Apart from these vague words, Asseth said nothing, but it was precisely because of his attitude that Lucius concluded two things.

The first thing was that the rumor was true, and the developer of the new potion was, as he suspected, his friend Snape.

The second thing is that the relationship between Artes and Snape is more beneficial than friendship.

Isn't this pie in the sky?

Lucius was completely dizzy.

He and Snape had maintained a relationship for so many years, and they could not be called friends too much.

Artes personally confirmed the truth of the rumors, and his relationship with Snape was not as good as his relationship with Snape. So once Snape became famous and his net worth skyrocketed, how could the Malfoy family not benefit from it?

But the key is that he has to give something first.

After just a few seconds of thinking, Lucius' thoughts were already focused on the benefits he would get in the future, and he didn't even care about the price he paid.

Thinking of this, he suddenly felt grateful for the invitation he had sent out a few days ago based on speculation.

This is a good opportunity.

Seeing that Lucius had convinced him thoroughly, Asseth said nothing more, took a leisurely sip of tea, and proposed to leave.

Some words are too much and too little.

It just so happened that he had just got the news that Snape had accepted the invitation, and now it was time to leave.

After leaving Malfoy Manor, Artes went back to Cavendish Manor and took out the suit of clothes to prepare.

Now everything is ready, just waiting for the Quidditch World Cup to start.

It was a sunny day when the Quidditch World Cup started. Susanna was more active than anyone else in taking part in the fun. She took Nina to the camp very early in the morning and started working on it.

Aces was not in a hurry. He waited until the sun came out at noon, then took his time and led the twelve ravens to their camp.

Behind him was a group of strong men who looked like they were not easy to mess with. Asseth couldn't keep a low profile at all.

As soon as he arrived at the wilderness where the tent was placed, he was noticed by the wizard responsible for reception from the Ministry of Magic, and he hurriedly came over to greet him.

These wizards were wearing very strange clothes. It could be seen that they were trying their best to imitate Muggle clothing, but they were trying too hard.

All kinds of different clothes were piled on his body regardless of whether they matched or not. Aces could even see a male wizard wandering around in an apron.

Declining the suggestions of several wizards from the Ministry of Magic to lead the way, Asseth and a group of people quietly waited at the door for Nina to come out to greet Nina.
