HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 364 3 invitation

Every time after brewing the potion, Asses was the one who cleaned up the mess for the potion master. As time went by, he became more and more skilled at doing this.

With his eyes closed, he could place materials and bottles in the places Snape was accustomed to.

Even if the place was changed, it did not affect Artes' performance. In just ten minutes, he had the potion room clean and tidy.

Not only did he sort it out, he would also check it over, replace the materials that Snape had used up, and replace the broken ones with new ones.

After doing all this, Nina, who came to deliver breakfast, also arrived.

As soon as she saw Asseth, Nina rushed towards him with red eyes and a cry in her voice.

"Master Asseth!"

She pounced very quickly, and the breakfast in her hand was crumbling in an instant. Aces quickly caught it with magic power and put it on the table of the dining room kitchen.

"What's wrong with you? Nina, why are you so nervous about me?" Asseth asked with a smile.

Nina sobbed and took out the wooden man that she carefully picked up from her arms, "Nina - Nina thought something was wrong with you, Master..."

Seeing this wooden man, Asseth suddenly realized why Nina was abnormal, and immediately laughed.

"This is just an alchemy tool. How could something happen to me in my own home?"

"Yes...really?"

Nina had not yet recovered from her grief and joy. She spoke intermittently, and was caught by Snape who came downstairs.

"I didn't expect that Master Cavendish would be interested in bullying a house elf."

The smile on Asseth's face froze when he saw Snape, "I... bully... Nina?"

Snape raised his eyebrows and raised his chin to point at Nina, who still couldn't stop sobbing.

Ace looked around at the current situation.

The house elf, who was less than half his height, was holding a wooden man in his arms. Tears were streaming down his face and his eyes were red from crying. It was indeed similar to bullying someone.

But he really didn't mean it.

Nina squeaked twice and couldn't help but defended Ass, "The young master did not bully Nina. It was Nina who was too stupid and did not understand what the young master meant."

Snape snorted noncommittally and dropped the subject, "Where's breakfast?"

"Nina, go get it!" Nina, eager to make up for her mistake, immediately ran to the kitchen.

Halfway through the run, she suddenly remembered what she overheard when she met Joel in the manor, and looked back at Asseth.

"Master Asseth, Butler Joel seems to have something to do with you."

After breakfast, Asses leaned on the sofa, struggling between going back and staying.

He had arranged a lot of things before he couldn't sleep. Logically speaking, he should be very free now, but why did Joel come to him? Is there anything he had overlooked?

Snape sat comfortably on the sofa, flipping through the books in his hands, and taking a sip of hot tea from time to time.

Nina specially prepared it for him and put it within reach of him, so he could get it anytime he wanted to drink it.

Next to the tea was a delicate holiday pudding.

After preparing so many meals for Snape, Nina more or less got a taste of Snape's preferences.

"Sev, do you want me to go back?" Really confused, Asseth chose to consult the potion master.

However, his eyes were full of expectation, and he obviously had an answer in his heart that he wanted to hear from Snape.

Snape's eyes flickered, and then he slowly turned over the next page without raising his head.

"I assume you know this is not your estate."

Of course Asseth knew that this was not his home, and he could not stay forever, but he wanted to give it a try to see if he could hear Snape's plea to stay.

However, it seems that I can’t hear it today. Aces thought with regret, then put back on the black robe from last night.

"Then I'll leave first?"

Snape's eyes never left the book, and he just nodded to indicate that he heard.

Aces is gone.

This dilapidated and dark building returned to its usual deserted appearance, which was what Snape was used to.

Solitude and silence.

Snape put down his book and looked toward the door.

The book he was staring at just now was turned back to the first page by the breeze blowing from the window.

As you flip through it, you can see that except for the first page, which has various lines drawn on it, the other pages are blank.

The Potions Master has a habit of leaving insights, comments or improvement methods in books, and the blank pages all show that he was absent-minded just now.

Cavendish Manor

Aces returned to the room and changed his clothes. As soon as he walked out of the door, he ran into Susanna wandering around aimlessly.

"Cousin?"

Hearing this sound, Susanna turned around and ran away as if she had seen a ghost.

"Stop."

Susanna stopped as a result of a conditioned reflex, shrank her head back in fear, and sneered, "Ass... my dear nephew!"

She raised her head and met Asseth's smart eyes. Her voice stopped for a moment and suddenly became louder.

"It's me, what's the problem? Why did you run away when you saw me and do something wrong?" Asseth half-smiled.

Susanna's eyes flashed, and she said solemnly: "You are wrong. I just remembered that Uncle Joel had something to do with me."

Aces smiled and didn't say whether he believed it or not.

But he happened to be looking for Joel, so he sent Susanna to Joel.

"Grandpa Joel, what do you want from me?"

Joel did not answer Asseth's words immediately, but looked at Susanna first, anger jumping on his brows.

In the morning, Susanna dragged him and ran too fast. He stumbled along the way and almost lost his life.

In the end, she left him behind and ran away.

One after another, shouldn't he settle accounts with this guy? How dare you appear in front of him?

When Asseth saw this, he ignored Susanna's look for help and added fuel to the fire without any conscience.

"My cousin said you had something to do with her, so we came here together. Is there any problem here?"

Lying is an additional crime.

Joel's eyes were even colder.

Susanna glared at Asseth anxiously, not expecting that he would stab her in the back. Fortunately, she protected him again and again. It seemed that their friendship was still misplaced.

Of course, Asseth was not that naive. He came here specifically to sue Susanna. He just wanted to scare her. Now that his purpose was achieved, it was time to divert Joel's attention.

"Grandpa Joel, didn't you say you have something to do with me?"

Joel glared at Susanna for the last time and looked at Asseth kindly, "There is something wrong. Three invitations have been sent to me. I need to ask the young master for your opinion."

"What invitation? Whose invitation?"

"The Quidditch World Cup is sent by the two British and German Ministers of Magic and the head of the Malfoy family. Do you want to go? Master Arthur."

Quidditch World Cup.

Minister of Magic, Lucius

The Death Eater symbol appears, the savior...

There were scattered fragments in Ass's eyes. He lowered his eyes calmly, thinking about what he could do here and what he could get.
