HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 26 The Night Tour of the Lion and the Snake

Asseth seemed to be aware of it, and silently drew out his wand. Just as he was about to turn around, he saw two red heads out of the corner of his eye.

An idea flashed in his mind, and his eyes lit up. Someone who could help him was here.

These two brothers are curious and quick-thinking.

Just a few days after school started, I was caught twice traveling at night, but I was not caught again after the two times.

They often share their nocturnal life with other little lions in the auditorium, such as administrators and professors who avoid night patrols.

He put away his wand and turned around. Before he could speak, he was held by people on the left and right.

Fred shrugged regretfully at George through Asseth and said:

"Oh, it seems our cunning little snake has discovered us."

Then the two looked at each other and said in unison:

"However, we still caught him."

"Sneak attack successful!"

Caught in the middle, Artes moved uncomfortably. He was still not used to being too close to others.

He quietly avoided the hands of the two, and then asked casually:

"Fred? George?"

"When did you come? Didn't you see anything?"

There was a hint of nervousness in Asseth's tone.

Seeing how nervous Artes was, Fred and George immediately became curious. They stepped forward to hold Artes back and asked:

"Hey, Asseth, did you do something bad?"

"Are we friends? Tell us quickly."

"Don't worry, we won't tell your dean."

"That dark old bat."

The two of them said it like they were relaying each other.

Aces frowned, but still did not avoid them again.

He looked up at the two brothers and corrected him seriously:

"You should call him Professor Snape."

The twins were unimpressed.

Seeing this, Asseth could only threaten them.

"Don't call Professor Snape the old bat. You have to learn to respect him, otherwise I won't tell you anything."

Fred and George looked at each other.

Merlin, has Artes been drugged?

I do not know?

What now?

Agree. It’s nothing anyway.

The two of them both nodded to express that they would respect Snape, and then looked at Artes with burning eyes, as if they would keep looking at him as long as he didn't give them an explanation.

Aces shook his head pretending to be helpless.

"I didn't do anything bad, I just heard about a strange place."

"It was a strange secret room."

"Wow, that sounds interesting." The two brothers were obviously interested in this.

“It is said that on the eighth floor, if you walk back and forth three times against the wall opposite the tapestry, a strange door will appear.

"what is inside?"

"I don't know what's inside?"

"I haven't been in there yet."

"I just went to test whether it was true, but I found that simply walking three times was not enough."

The two brothers became more and more interested as they listened, eager to go over and see it now, but Asseth quickly stopped them.

Carter is still inside now, but Carter can't be allowed to run into them.

"Not now. I saw someone there just now. If I go now, this place will be exposed."

"It wouldn't be a secret anymore. It wouldn't be interesting."

Fred and George nodded in agreement. This was indeed boring, so they stopped at the same time.

Then the two of them looked at Assis up and down, and said in harmony:

"In this case"

"Then we'll have to invite you to our great and fun night out."

"The Night Tour of the Lion and the Snake."

"That's an interesting idea."

"It's also a great endeavor."

Aces had no objection. He originally wanted to rely on them to find the room, and traveling at night was not impossible.

Seeing that Asses agreed, the two high-fived excitedly.

"Look, we're going on a night out with the Slytherin students."

"Slytherin students can actually go out at night!"

The shocked look between the two made Assese feel helpless. Are they really reliable?

After all, Asses managed to persuade the excited two people back to the lounge and agreed on a time to meet in the evening.

When Asseth returned to the dormitory, he entered the box. He had to find two protective alchemy works, but he was still worried about the twins.

Although they were temporarily appeased and did not go to the secret room to check immediately, he didn't know whether they would go to the secret room on a whim or whether they would be unlucky enough to run into Carter.

After searching for a long time, Asseth found two good alchemy necklaces, which could resist some evil spells and were enough for the twins to use.

In the evening, Asseth packed his things and prepared to take the necklace to the twins.

Suddenly, Asseth was startled for a moment, a strange light flashed in his eyes, and then he saw a picture.

It's Carter.

how come? No wonder.

Asseth suppressed the doubts in his heart, turned around and took another thing before leaving the lounge.

The twins were bored and hid in the corner at the end of the corridor in the Slytherin lounge waiting.

They pounced on Asseth as soon as he appeared.

"You finally came,"

"We thought you were going to let us go."

The twins kept complaining in Ass's ears, and Asses gave them the necklace in his hand.

"One for each person. We don't know what's inside, so we need some protection."

The twins were not polite and took the necklace and hung it directly around their necks.

"Okay? Let's go quickly."

"We can't wait!"

"Right now, let's cast the Disillusionment Curse first."

Aces took out his wand and first cast two Disillusionment Curses on them, and then cast one on himself.

Fred and George looked at Asseth in shock.

"Oh my god, how can there be such a useful spell?"

"If we learn."

"Then we don't have to worry about getting caught."

Asses had no choice but to interrupt them.

"We should go."

Two lions and one snake shuttled through the dim corridor, and soon they came to the tapestry on the eighth floor.

The twins couldn't wait to stand on the wall and walked back and forth three times.

Unfortunately, the walls remained unchanged.

The twins tried for a long time without success and looked at Asseth suspiciously.

"Is there really a secret room here?"

"You really didn't lie to us?"

When Asseth was about to fool them, he suddenly felt something, and he restrained himself from showing any other expression.

He paused, as if thinking about how to explain.

"I don't know either. I heard this from others. Besides, what's the benefit of lying to you?"

The twins looked at each other, and there was no need for Ass to lie to them.

"Did we not do the right thing?"

"Little snake, what else do you know?"

The two red heads both looked at Asseth.
