HP: Embrace the Darkness
Chapter 196 Quarrel in the Principal’s Office
Aces has never lacked mobility.
After setting the goal that night, he immediately began to modify the plan.
He had not planned to be too involved in Dumbledore's plan before, he only wanted to save his life at a critical moment.
So I stayed away from the incident.
But not now. When Snape's life was involved, he couldn't stay out of it.
We can only enter this vortex step by step.
The next day, he trapped himself in his room, writing on a pile of parchment. There were discarded parchments in his hands and on the floor of the room, scattered all over the floor.
But there are so many parchments covered with traces of alterations and big crosses.
Aces lowered his head in despair. He once again entered a dead end, just like when he made the Horcrux.
Unlike Dumbledore, what Snape had to do was to walk almost on a knife's edge, and his life could not be saved if he was not careful.
So he must be cautious and make sure nothing goes wrong.
However, after Tutu had rewritten so much, he discovered a fact:
He simply didn't know Snape well enough.
He doesn't know his past, his thoughts, and even his reasons for being a spy.
On the messy desk, the man lowered his head and stared at the parchment in front of him, tapping the quill on the parchment.
Realizing that he didn't know enough about Snape, Artes' plan became simple again.
Just like this piece of parchment, there are not many messy plans, only a simple sentence:
Destroy the Horcruxes and kill Voldemort.
But are things really that simple?
Thinking of the prophecy of the diary that ravaged Hogwarts, compared to the current Hogwarts that is also affected by Horcruxes.
I also thought of Grindelwald who tried countless times but finally failed and gave up.
Aces suddenly became unconfident.
His hand holding the quill became harder and harder, and with a click, the quill broke.
Tu
Aces dropped the quill that was broken into two sections with an expressionless expression.
His verification actually gave him the answer, but he was unwilling to do so.
Picking up a new quill, Artes thought for a moment and wrote a letter to Grindelwald in Nurmengard.
He needs Grindelwald's knowledge of the prophecy.
He didn't care before, so it didn't matter what he was hiding, but now it's different.
He wanted Snape to live.
Asai stared at the distant owl, his eyes dark and dangerous.
If Gellert continued to hide it from him, he didn't mind making Dumbledore pay a certain price.
As long as the person was alive, he never guaranteed that Dumbledore would be intact.
Knowing that there was nothing he could do for the time being, Asseth forcibly brought his mind back to class.
Before he went to meet Grindelwald, he had one more thing to do.
He came to Hogwarts before to protect Dumbledore, but now his identity at Hogwarts has become a constraint.
He needed to break free from this bondage.
After class in the morning, Asses handed several letters prepared in class to Nina and asked her to deliver them.
The rest is just waiting for a reply.
While waiting, Asses came to the cellar again.
Miss Medusa looked at him strangely, "Why are you here? The dean didn't look for you."
"I'm looking for him."
Aces spoke concisely and to the point.
"that……"
Miss Medusa looked at Asseth hesitantly, her tails tangled together, "Well... I don't recommend you to see the dean."
Aces frowned upon hearing this, "Why?"
"I...forget it, you go in."
Asseth looked at Miss Medusa inquiringly, feeling suddenly uneasy.
Miss Medusa avoided his gaze, lowered her head and couldn't help but think of Snape who went out and came back that night, looking obviously not right.
……
Time goes back to that night
After Snape returned to the cellar, he sat on the sofa and stared at the Boggart's box.
He didn't understand why Asseth's Boggart was him. He was not afraid of him, but afraid of his death.
And he even lost his temper like this.
Time gradually passed in Snape's absence. After thinking to no avail, he remembered another thing.
He had already put life and death aside, but what about Asseth?
He was so rude even when he saw his death. So if he really dies one day, then...
Snape closed his eyes impatiently, his mind still full of messy thoughts.
If it was Asseth who was in trouble...
As if he couldn't accept this, his eyes opened suddenly, and a trace of worry flashed through his deep pupils.
No, we can't let him get involved anymore.
Snape stood up suddenly and strode towards the headmaster's office.
The black robe quickly shuttled through Hogwarts.
Arriving at the door of the principal's office, Snape sullenly spat out: Lemon Olaf.
The gatekeeper opened his eyes and reluctantly opened the door.
The headmaster's room was dark, and Snape waved his wand to light all the lights.
Dumbledore, who was sleeping peacefully upstairs, was stabbed by the light and got up cursing.
"Who! Don't you know that the elderly need enough sleep?"
"I want to see who it is...Oh Severus, it's you."
Dumbledore stood on the stairs, looking at Snape who was silent.
"Severus, what's wrong with you?"
The old man's inquiring gaze fell on Snape without concealment.
Snape said expressionlessly, "I have something to ask you."
Dumbledore tightened his purple nightgown and said warily:
"If you have to talk about something late at night, let me tell you first. Although I can understand that you have been single for so long, I still will not accept you."
Does this damn old bee know what he's talking about?
Snape's face became darker and darker as Dumbledore spoke, and in the end the look he looked at Dumbledore was no different than a poisoned dagger.
Dumbledore seemed not to feel his anger and continued to chatter.
"Severus, I'm not talking about you. It's really not a problem that you have been single for so long. If you are willing, I can ask Pomfrey to give you-"
"enough!"
Snape finally couldn't bear it anymore and interrupted the old man's ramblings.
"Is your brain blocked by those sweet desserts?"
"Or is it that our great headmaster has started a side business and become one of those Muggle people who tries to arrange marriages for others."
Dumbledore blinked, "Sounds like a good side job?"
Snape sneered, "I really didn't expect that our principal would actually want to do this. It seems that after the closure of Hogwarts, your later life will be settled."
Dumbledore walked down the stairs slowly and shook his head when he heard this, "I have already decided what to do in my later life, so this may not be feasible."
"Oh? How come I didn't know that our principal also planned his later life? Why, do you think arranging for others is not enough, so you plan to arrange a marriage for yourself?"
Snape showed no mercy and mocked the old man.
