HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 19 Confinement in the Cellar (Part )

Thinking of something, Snape suppressed the excitement in his eyes.

Professor McGonagall came to him today to tell him something about Artes joining the Transfiguration Club.

Aces's excellence undoubtedly made him stand out in front of Professor McGonagall.

And now he discovered that in addition to his excellent transformation talent, Aces also had an excellent potion talent, plus the magic talent shown in the previous duel.

A true genius, and a genius with a strong background.

At present, it seems that Aces is not setting his sights high, but Snape cannot guarantee that Aces can maintain his position under such circumstances.

He was a Slytherin student, maybe he had to do something. Snape thought.

After gathering his thoughts and putting down the bottle in his hand, Snape was about to tell Arthas to handle the materials when he heard Artese's inquiry.

"Professor, I heard that you are very good at Defense Against the Dark Arts. Can I learn practical combat from you?"

Snape narrowed his eyes. He was still wondering if Artes would float?

Floating now?

"Haha, if I remember correctly, you haven't even taken the first Defense Against the Dark Arts class yet, right?"

"Not even theoretical knowledge. What gives our Mr. Cavendish the confidence to ask his Potions Master to teach him Defense Against the Dark Arts."

Asses didn't come up with this idea out of the blue. He had previously discovered that he lacked practical experience.

To protect the most powerful wizards, it takes more than just being able to improve the spells.

But the Duke and Anna didn't have time, and Grindelwald was too strong. He didn't have a wand before, so he couldn't resist at all, so he had to give up.

After he arrived at Hogwarts, he had been thinking about which professor to teach him in practical combat, and finally he chose his own dean.

"Professor, you can check my theoretical knowledge."

Snape asked a few questions with a dark face, and Artes answered them all smoothly.

But Snape still didn't want to teach.

"Mr. Cavendish, you are only a first-year student. This is not what you should learn now. And the magic power of a young wizard is not enough to learn actual combat."

After hearing this, Asseth reached out his hand without hesitation.

"Professor, my magic is no weaker than that of a seventh grader. You can see for yourself."

Snape made no move.

It is very risky to let other wizards' magic power enter the body for inspection. The magic power in the body that does not belong to one's own can easily kill him.

Isn't this stupid troll defenseless against others?

Moreover, the magic power in the body will exclude other magic powers from entering. If it is not controlled well, both parties will be injured.

Seeing that Snape made no move, Artes passed his hand forward.

"professor?"

Snape was so annoyed with this damn stupid troll that he took Artes' hand and the magic flowed directly into Artes.

Snape was prepared to be injured and to save the little troll.

However, the result surprised him. His magic power flowed smoothly throughout Ases' body without any hindrance.

The magic power circulated in Asseth's body, confirming that the magic power in Asseth's body was no longer weaker than that of an average adult wizard.

Letting go, Snape's eyes were complicated and difficult to distinguish. Did he really trust him that much? Why do you trust him so much?

The fact that his magic power can flow unimpeded in Asseth's body is enough to show how much Asses trusts him.

This trust is heavier than the light trusting eyes.

Aces didn't think much about it. After his hand was released, he looked at Snape expectantly.

Snape avoided Artes's sight. It was really ridiculous that he, a master of Legilimency, would take the initiative to avoid sight.

Forget it, just teach him, it’s not bad to protect your own strength more.

"Seven o'clock on weekends."

"Now go and deal with the materials over there. I hope Mr. Cavendish remembers that he is here for detention."

Seeing Snape agree, Ass couldn't restrain the surprise on his face.

He originally thought he would have to grind it a few more times. Unexpectedly, it was successful the first time.

"Okay, Professor." Arthur replied happily.

He neatly handled the slugs on the table.

Working with materials was a simple matter for him.

Aces was thinking while processing the materials.

It seems that the materials for the little animals in class were all processed by the professor after arresting them and confining them, but the quality was pretty good and the professor should have checked them later.

He dealt with it very quickly, and in a short time, the slug was taken care of. Asseth stood up, stretched and walked towards the door.

Just now, Snape went out after confirming that his handling was okay. It seems to be correcting papers.

Sitting on his desk, looking at the nonsense paper, Snape scratched a T on the parchment. Why did he have to grade this damn paper.

To dare to hand in a paper like this is simply polluting his eyes. I looked at the house and saw that it was indeed the Gryffindor troll.

There were several in a row, and they either made no sense or were extremely similar. Snape was so angry that he smiled, "Okay, very good."

He wouldn't be Snape if he didn't deduct all their points.

When Asseth came out, he happened to see Snape's twisted smile, and for a moment he didn't know whether to go out or go back.

"Come here." Snape glanced at Artes.

Artes didn't dare to offend the current Snape, so he obediently went over and sat down.

Snape divided some papers in his hand and put them in front of Artes, "You will correct these. You should know this potion, right?"

Aces took a look at the paper. He did know this potion, but he couldn't change the paper!

Looking at the pile of papers, I silently calculated the time in my mind. If I revised it alone, the professor would probably revise it very late.

I resigned myself to taking a few papers that Snape had graded before, and roughly confirmed Snape's correction standards.

Then he picked up the quill and started correcting the paper according to Snape's standards.

I have to say that Snape's standards were really not high. Although the score he gave was not high, they really didn't hit the mark. Some papers were outrageous and he didn't even look at them.

After Asseth finished correcting this small part of the paper, the confinement time was over, but he did not leave. Instead, he took the paper again and continued to correct it.

"Is Mr. Cavendish about to break school rules in front of his dean?"

"Or is he arrogant enough to ignore the curfew?"

Faced with Snape's ridicule, Artes smiled gently and good-naturedly.

"Professor, you can call me Aces."

"I think it's not against school rules to be left behind by a professor to help during curfew time, right?"

"When did I say I needed your help?" Snape raised an eyebrow.

"I want to help the professor. I wonder if the professor can give me this opportunity?" Artes followed Snape's words.

Snape looked at Artes and nodded reservedly.
