HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 17 Transfiguration Lesson

"Why don't you write down what you just said? Or do you think you are smart enough and don't need to record it? Huh?"

The venom hissed out, frightening the little wizards' recording hands to tremble.

I have to say that Snape was very oppressive during class. During the entire class, no one dared to whisper, including the little snakes.

The sense of oppression reached its peak during the hands-on process of making potions.

The little wizards worked in pairs and hurriedly followed the steps to make the potion. However, the unfamiliar materials and unfamiliar potion steps made the little wizards feel awkward.

Faced with the young wizards who made mistakes, Snape reprimanded them mercilessly for their stupidity.

Fortunately for the little snakes, most of them successfully completed the production without being sprayed with venom.

But the little badger was in dire straits. The little badgers were already frightened by Snape, and Snape was always hanging around them. As a result, the little badgers, which were going well at first, also failed a lot.

The failed little badger becomes more nervous after being sprayed with venom, and then fails again after being nervous, which is trapped in an endless loop.

Aces was paired with Elise. His experience in processing materials in alchemy helped him very well, and he completed the potion production with almost no effort.

The smooth production process was also awarded five points by Snape.

Looking at the pitiful looks of the little badgers and Snape's face, which was so black that it could drip water, Artes silently gave a reminder to the little badgers around him.

There is nothing he can do if he is far away and he can only seek happiness on his own.

At Ass's prompts, the little badgers around them completed their work one after another, and they looked at him gratefully.

Where did this good person come from?

Snape glanced at Artes and had no objection.

"Ten points for Slytherin, for Mr. Cavendish's zeal."

At the end of the class, the little badgers looked like flowers that had been damaged by wind and rain, looking like they were surviving a disaster.

When collecting homework after class, Snape noticed the perfect quality of Aces' hands.

"Have you ever touched potions before?"

"No, sir."

"But I have studied alchemy, and I feel that the two have some similarities. And when making potions, I seem to be able to feel the magic power of the potions."

Can you feel the magic power fluctuations?

Snape looked at Asseth with interest for the first time. Even though Asses had shown strong dueling abilities before, he was just on alert.

But now is not the time to delve into it.

"Seven o'clock tonight, lockdown time. I hope Mr. Cavendish is a punctual man and his professor doesn't like to wait."

With these words behind him, Snape picked up his homework and left.

Arthur's next class was Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class.

Because he had a few words with Snape, the place was almost full when he arrived at the Transfiguration Classroom.

Aces arrived at the Transfiguration Classroom just as class was about to begin.

When several little snakes saw Asseth, they all stretched out their hands to greet him, and they made room for him.

They were filled with admiration for Aces' strong strength and his behavior of adding twenty-five points to Slytherin just after school started.

In addition, he is the invisible chief, so many little snakes have reserved seats for Asseth.

Aces didn't choose and sat down at the nearest seat.

As soon as I sat down, it was time for class.

The next moment, the tabby cat on the podium jumped forward and turned into Professor McGonagall wearing a green wizard robe.

After landing, Professor McGonagall looked down the stage.

"Very good, there are no late students, I hope you will continue to do so."

"Class begins now."

"Transfiguration is the most complex and dangerous spell you have in your classes at Hogwarts. I warn you that anyone who tries to cause trouble in my class will be asked to leave and never come back again."

Professor McGonagall said sternly to the young wizards. She doesn't want her students to get hurt because of negligence or naughtiness.

The little wizards nodded in agreement.

After Professor McGonagall saw that the little wizard had memorized it, she began to give a formal lecture.

She started from the basics of transfiguration, breaking down the theory of transfiguration in the book to explain to the young wizards, while explaining the theory while interspersing the dangers of transfiguration.

Afraid of the ignorant little wizard's reckless attempt.

Professor McGonagall talked for a long time and checked the notes of the little wizards to make sure there were no problems before letting the little wizards try it.

She waved her wand and placed matches in front of each little wizard.

"Now, let's try to see if we can turn the match into a silver needle."

After listening to Professor McGonagall's words, the little wizards who were originally listless under the baptism of theory instantly became energetic. This was their favorite part.

One by one, they took out their wands and were eager to try them.

However, the results of the attempts were not satisfactory. No one could successfully turn the match into a needle, and there was no change at all.

The little snakes around them all looked at Aces after trying to no avail.

Aces took out his wand and lightly touched the match. The match began to elongate and deform. Finally, it turned into an exquisite hollow carved silver needle.

The little snakes around exclaimed, and the exclamations attracted the attention of Professor McGonagall. She came over and looked at Artes's work in surprise.

"Very perfect and delicate Transfiguration, five points for Slytherin."

The little wizards who were still working hard looked at Artes with envy. The little snakes around him were approaching the water tower. Seeing that Professor McGonagall had no objection, they began to ask for tips.

Turning matches into needles is not a difficult transformation in itself, but the impatience of the little wizards affected their performance.

Aces corrected the mentality of several little snakes, and after a while, they were barely able to turn a match into a simple needle.

All that's left is to practice a lot. Their magic control is too poor and their mentality is not stable enough. There is nothing that Ass can do.

After teaching the little snake beside him, Artes had nothing to do. Seeing that Professor McGonagall had no time to pay attention to him for the time being, he began to try the subsequent transformation techniques with silver needles.

From small to large, from needle to cup, Asses tried one by one.

After verifying some of his ideas, he was no longer satisfied with just changing the appearance. He began to try to change the essence of the match.

With a tap of the wand, Asseth tried his best to construct the shape of the mouse in his mind, and the match kept twisting and deforming.

Professor McGonagall, who came over at some point, was watching Artes' movements closely.

After a long period of twisting, the match successfully transformed into a squeaking mouse.

Professor McGonagall looked at Arthas with disapproval and admiration.

"Mr. Cavendish, you should also be aware of the dangers of transfiguration. I have just emphasized again and again not to try to change the essence of objects privately. Because of your behavior, Slytherin will deduct two points."

Before the little snakes could sigh, Professor McGonagall continued: "But because of your excellent Transfiguration, Slytherin will add five points."

"Only this one time."

Artes knew that Professor McGonagall was worried about him and apologized: "I'm sorry, Professor McGonagall. I won't do it next time."

Professor McGonagall nodded at Arthur's attitude. He was neither arrogant nor impetuous, and had a measured approach and retreat. He was a good boy.
