HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 160 Little White Tiger Gets His Wishes

"Squeak-"

The sound of the wooden door being opened was particularly obvious in the silent night. The little white tiger made a sudden movement, and froze in place with its protruding head. The whole tiger huddled in the doorway and did not dare to move.

Almost at the same time, Snape opened his eyes alertly, breathed lightly, straightened his back, and reached for the wand next to him, ready to go.

In the dark bedroom, there was almost no sound of breathing.

The little white tiger waited at the door for a while. Seeing that nothing happened, he braved his head and walked forward.

The pads of flesh were soft and there was no sound as he walked, and he quickly reached the edge of the bed.

Looking at the hanging fabric, the little white tiger tentatively raised its two paws to grab it, and stood up with only its hind legs.

After Snape was alert for a brief moment, he immediately realized that the person entering the room might be the little white tiger.

Just in case, he removed the wand from his hand, but did not move rashly. He just lay quietly on the bed, waiting for someone to come.

A furry head poked out from the side of the bed. Snape breathed a sigh of relief, and his pale arms supported him to sit up.

"what are you doing?"

The little white tiger's head just popped out and froze, looking at Snape blankly.

There was no light in the bedroom, and Snape squinted his eyes to vaguely see the disbelief on his face.

This stupid tiger is hopeless.

He mercilessly picked up the little white tiger by the scruff of his neck, raised it in the air and looked at him, asking each word.

"What do you want to do?"

The little white tiger stretched its limbs in the air and screamed, not knowing what it was saying.

Snape didn't have much patience in the middle of the night. After being woken up, his eyebrows were furrowed and there was a hint of sleepiness in his eyes.

Seeing that the little white tiger was making trouble with him and kept moving around, he stood up coldly, walked to the door and threw him out.

"If you don't understand the word quiet..."

He paused, remembering that Little White Tiger probably didn't understand these two words.

damn it.

"Don't bother me, or I'll throw you out."

Snape rubbed his brow irritably, slammed the door and went back to his room.

The little white tiger was left staring at the closed wooden door in a daze. He stayed in a daze for a long time, and he groaned lowly until he was sure that Snape would not come back.

He was pacing back and forth, his tail wagging distractedly, both unwilling to leave and afraid of Snape's anger.

Finally, the little white tiger tentatively lay down at the door. After a while, there was no movement at the door, and he finally fell asleep with peace of mind.

In the bedroom, Snape lay back on the bed again, but did not fall asleep immediately. He just stared at the ceiling quietly in the darkness.

After getting along for a short time, he could see that the little white tiger was not easy to compromise. If he was thrown out now, he might sneak in again later.

Rather than being woken up again, it's better to wait a while.

Time passed little by little, but there was no sound from the door.

Snape felt strange, but he was too lazy to pursue it too much in the middle of the night. Seeing that he was not making trouble, he turned over and closed his eyes to prepare for sleep.

Just as he closed his eyes, a slight snoring sound caught his attention.

Thinking of some possibility, he opened his eyes and his face turned dark.

With a "swish" sound, the door was opened with great force, and the fierce wind blew on the sleeping little white tiger, causing pain and frightening him so much that he didn't even open his eyes, and the whole tiger jumped up.

"Ho~ho"

The little white tiger landed on the ground and assumed an attack posture. The next second he saw that it was Snape who opened the door.

He relaxed and tilted his head at Snape in confusion.

"Hululu?"

"Go back to your room."

Snape spoke concisely and pointed to the utility room.

Little White Tiger followed his finger and looked towards the utility room, and his hair exploded in an instant.

"Hoho~"

Snape's face was expressionless, and he looked at him quietly with lowered eyes.

The little white tiger's exploding fur gradually became softer, but his ears also drooped low.

"Hululu..."

He looked at the floor aggrievedly, letting out a low whimper, and clasped his paws firmly on the floor, refusing to leave.

One second, two seconds...

Silence spread between one person and one tiger.

Forget it, what does he have to argue with this stupid tiger? Let's wait until the giant monster comes back to settle the score.

Snape let out a sigh of relief and stepped aside to make a small gap.

"Come in."

"Hululu!"

The little white tiger suddenly raised his head and looked at Snape with bright eyes, feeling flustered.

It seems he made a wrong decision.

It turned out that this was indeed a wrong decision.

"Go down!"

Snape stood by the bed and yelled angrily at the little white tiger lying on the bed.

The little white tiger remained unmoved. His instinct as a beast made him keenly aware of Snape's vague connivance towards him.

"I let you in, but I didn't let you go to bed."

"Ooooooo~"

The veins on Snape's forehead throbbed, and he wanted to go back in time and cast a curse on himself who just said these words.

After a moment of stalemate, he gritted his teeth and resisted the urge to throw the little white tiger out.

With a wave of the wand, the sofa stretched and transformed into a bed that looked exactly like the original.

"You go there."

The little white tiger looked at the two identical beds and stretched his head to look around with some hesitation.

He opened his mouth slightly, and after feeling that there was no familiar smell on the unfamiliar bed, he lay down again.

Very good, not stupid enough to be cheated.

Snape felt that he was mad that he could still calmly comment on this stupid tiger's actions.

After a brief stalemate, Snape turned and walked towards the freshly baked bed. He could not expect this stupid tiger to make way for him.

But he didn't expect that even after he compromised, this stupid tiger would get worse.

Late at night, because of the second breath that did not belong to him in the room, Snape never fell asleep and just closed his eyes to rest.

A rustling sound came, and Snape frowned but said nothing.

The sound got closer and closer, until the side of the bed collapsed, and Snape couldn't bear it and opened his eyes.

"Have you made enough trouble?"

The little white tiger made a coquettish sound and leaned forward tentatively.

Resisting the urge to throw jinxes, Snape asked as calmly as possible: "What do you want?"

The little white tiger stopped and tilted his head, as if he was seriously thinking about his question. After a while, he tentatively approached again.

This time Snape didn't stop him. He wanted to see what this silly tiger was doing here if he stayed up most of the night.

Snape's silent attitude seemed to encourage him. The little white tiger's steps became bigger and faster, and he soon got into Snape's quilt.

Then the whole tiger slumped down as if it were boneless, lying stretched out in all directions, its little head resting on Snape's arm, and it made a comfortable humming sound.

"Ah."

Snape laughed angrily at the scene in front of him, and didn't even think of pushing the little white tiger away for the first time.

"So you've been struggling for so long just to sleep with me?"

This time, the little white tiger understood very quickly. He looked at Snape with bright eyes and hummed.

Snape was silent for a long time. The look of pure trust and dependence on the little animal in his arms overlapped with that of the cat when he was a child. Thinking of the little white tiger's lack of defense against him, his heart softened slightly.

Forget it, he is just a little white tiger.

His eyebrows relaxed and he sighed softly, "Just this time, it won't be the same next time."
