HP: Embrace the Darkness
Chapter 155 Looking for a shit shovel
Just as he was looking at his medicine garden with satisfaction, a "rustling" sound came from the grass behind him.
Snape's eyes flashed, and he quickly turned around and pointed his wand at the grass.
"who!"
In the grass, a silver head poked out, looking at him with the same vigilance.
unicorn?
This is troublesome. People like him are completely opposite to this kind of sacred creature, and there is bound to be conflict.
Snape frowned, his hand holding the wand slightly harder, and he was secretly on guard.
If possible, he didn't want to face such a magical creature. Killing it would be impossible. If he didn't kill it, he would die.
Antonio got out hesitantly. Is this the place Ass is looking for?
It's just that it doesn't realize at all now that there is nothing behind it, and Asseth, who was supposed to be above it, is nowhere to be seen.
In the grass a little behind it, Asses got up and chased madly, cursing in his heart and hoping that Antonio would calm down and not conflict with the potion master.
Thinking of this, its running speed accelerated again.
Antonio, who faced off against the potion master, lived up to expectations and did not receive any signal from Aces.
It didn't get a response, so it could only glance back quickly, and something happened with this glance.
Aces is missing!
After realizing this, Antonio became visibly agitated, his hooves scraped on the ground, and his eyes towards Snape became irritable.
Snape took a step back and distanced himself from the angry unicorn. The wand in his hand suddenly glowed red, ready to attack.
Feeling the change in magic power, Antonio became even more anxious. He raised his head and looked directly at Snape, with a fierce look in his eyes.
At this critical moment, Asseth finally arrived.
The little white tiger quickly swept out of the grass and rushed straight into the middle of the confrontation between the two, so fast that it left an afterimage.
Seeing Artes, Snape was stunned for a moment. Since when was there a white tiger in the Forbidden Forest?
Aces looked around, and first let out a low growl at Antonio.
"Antonio, he is not an enemy."
Antonio calmed down, lowered his head and looked at Asseth, hissing with guilt.
"Aces, are you okay? I didn't mean to do it."
Aces purred soothingly, "I'm fine, don't move yet, I'll go talk to the professor."
Antonio stood obediently, looking at Snape with his bell-sized eyes.
Snape couldn't understand what they were saying, but he could see the unicorn being comforted and the red light on the tip of his wand dimming slightly, but not completely disappearing.
Aces tentatively approached Snape. Snape lowered his eyes and looked at the little white tiger on the ground, suddenly having a guess in his heart.
"Aces?"
The professor recognized it.
The little white tiger's eyes lit up and he ran towards him quickly.
Faced with the enthusiasm of the little white tiger, Snape subconsciously took a step back and pointed his wand downward at Artes.
Aces stopped at his feet and nodded wildly at him.
Snape frowned, carefully looking at the little white tiger underground, and only relaxed his guard when he saw familiar eyes.
He picked up Aces, took a few steps back, and moved his wand in the direction of Antonio.
Antonio was threatened and stamped his hoof a little unhappily.
Aces lay on Snape's hand and turned to Antonio and growled.
"Keep calm, Antonio, I promise, he won't hurt you."
Antonio was quiet again.
Snape looked down at the small white tiger that occupied his entire hand and half of his arm.
"You know each other well?"
Aces nodded, raised his paw again, and tried to press down the Potions Master's wand.
Snape hesitated for a moment, then followed Artes's force and lowered his wand.
"Is there something wrong with your Animagus?"
Aces continued to nod, and Snape's expression changed, and he waved his wand and threw several checking spells at him.
The result of the examination was magic chaos.
He frowned so hard that he could pinch the lion cub to death.
Aces rubbed his hand comfortingly and looked at Antonio again.
"Antonio, can you please help me pass on my blessings to him?"
Antonio looked Snape up and down, a little hesitant, "Aces, are you sure? He is your partner?"
"No, but he is someone I trust."
"In my current situation, I can neither stay in the Forbidden Forest for a long time nor go to class. I can only find someone I trust to help me get through this time."
Aces explained it patiently, Antonio nodded clearly, raised his feet and approached Snape.
Its approach made Snape's whole body tense up. He clenched the wand in his right hand and looked at it warily.
Aces gently bit the Potion Master's finger and looked at him with light blue eyes.
Snape frowned, "What's the point of letting it come over?"
Aces nodded, Snape's eyes hesitated, and he tentatively approached Antonio.
When Antonio saw him approaching, he lowered his head gently, completely different from his violent temper just now.
Aces climbed up the Potions Master's arm and did not stop until he reached the Potions Master's shoulder. His little paws kept tapping Snape's arm.
Snape gritted his teeth and resisted the urge to throw Artes out, and raised his hand as he wished.
Antonio lowered his head on his own initiative, and the horns on his head obeyed the owner's wishes and automatically fell off to Snape's hand.
Snape held the unicorn horn in his hand and was confused for a moment.
The next second, a faint silver light wrapped around his finger like a ring.
"Professor, do you understand what I said?"
Snape turned his head in surprise and knocked down Asseth who was lying on his shoulder. He subconsciously let go of the unicorn's horn and caught the fallen white tiger.
After being caught, the little white tiger howled and trembled in the arms holding the potion master.
Seeing his strange behavior, Snape narrowed his eyes.
"In addition to being unable to change, your mind has also been affected?"
Although it was a question, his tone was affirmative.
Asseth managed to remain rational and nodded at him.
"It's a small problem. Not only will I not be able to recover during this period of time, but I will also lose my human sanity."
Snape's throat was a little dry, "What do you mean by losing your mind?"
Aces gave him a sad look, "It means that I will become a real tiger."
"Are you sure it's just temporary?"
"Yes, as time goes by, my sanity will slowly return."
Snape breathed a subtle sigh of relief, then began to mock mercilessly.
"It seems that Mr. Cavendish, who is full of confidence, will not succeed every time."
Aces rubbed the potion master's hand aggrievedly and argued, "This was an accident!"
"Accident seems to be the best excuse your stupid brain can come up with."
Aces stopped talking. His current mood swings were easily aroused, and the Potion Master's words made him uncomfortable.
The little white tiger was so angry that he was shaking all over, his warm head shaking in the palm of his hand. Snape felt subtly that he was going a little too far.
