HP: Embrace the Darkness

Chapter 124 Troll Follow-up

She still had the energy to glare at him, but it seemed that the stick was not strong enough.

So, in the shocked eyes of Harry and Ron, Arthur waved his wand expressionlessly.

Suddenly, the giant monster was knocked unconscious by the suddenly stronger wooden stick.

I deserve it, so you can make trouble for me.

Aces had no sympathy for the fainted troll, and even after he fainted, he thoughtfully added a petrification spell and a sleeping spell to prevent him from sleeping comfortably enough.

There should be no problem now, right?

Aces looked the giant monster up and down, hesitated, and then threw another alchemy tool on the giant monster.

As soon as the alchemy tool comes into contact with the troll, it will automatically restrain him.

The only function of this alchemy tool is to restrain it.

After doing all this, Artes looked at Hermione who was shaking with her eyes closed.

"Okay, open your eyes, it's okay."

Hermione opened her eyes tremblingly.

At this time, Harry and Ron also reacted and quickly walked over to comfort her.

Aces had no intention of participating in their friendship and stood quietly, guarding Quirrell who didn't know if he might have a back-up plan.

After a while, hurried footsteps came from the bathroom door.

Asseth's wand was not put away, and he pointed at the door warily.

"Oh, Merlin, what's going on!"

Professor McGonagall, who walked in first, looked at the chaotic bathroom and exclaimed.

Behind her were Quirrell and Snape.

As soon as Snape came in, he frowned when he saw Artes. His eyes quickly glanced at him and Harry. After making sure that they were okay, he breathed a sigh of relief.

Then he looked at Harry and Ron who were at a loss with cold expressions.

Aces put away his wand and raised his hand to straighten his clothes.

"As you can see, the troll is trying to harm the little girl..."

"Hermione, my name is Hermione Granger."

Hermione had recovered and was looking directly at Artes.

Aces changed his story in a good-natured manner, "He hurt Miss Granger, and then she was knocked unconscious."

As he spoke, Artes' eyes froze slightly when he saw Snape's scratched skin, and then he looked at Quirrell calmly.

"Professor Quirrell, is this the troll you are talking about?"

Quirrell trembled, avoided Ass's eyes, and stammered.

"Yes...yes, that's him!"

"That's really... too difficult to deal with."

"He's injured. It seems I can deal with him. It's all because Professor Quirrell seriously injured him before."

Quirrell didn't know why, and secretly glanced at the giant monster with frightened eyes. He was a little surprised when he saw the scars on his body.

Artes and Snape, who were paying attention to his expression, frowned at the same time.

Quirrell hesitated for a moment, remembered something, and responded again.

"I tried my best."

After getting the answer, Asseth raised his eyebrows slightly and looked at Quirrell meaningfully.

But the wound on it was made secretly by him.

Snape on the side also took a deep look at Quirrell, with a sarcastic smile on his lips.

Idiot, you don’t even know that you’ve been tricked.

The undercurrent between the few people was not noticed by Professor McGonagall. She was still looking at Hermione in fear.

"Miss Granger, are you okay?"

Hermione quietly looked at Artes, and when she saw that he wasn't paying attention, she whispered.

"I'm fine. It was the Slytherin senior who saved me."

Professor McGonagall followed her gaze and looked at Artes, nodding in understanding.

If it were Asseth, with his superb transformation skills and magic spells, it would be more than enough to deal with a giant monster.

She was even more convinced of this after seeing the alchemy tools on the fallen troll.

Professor McGonagall turned around and looked at Artes excitedly.

"For Mr. Cavendish's bravery and strength, Slytherin adds..."

Halfway through his words, Professor McGonagall remembered that the Head of Slytherin was still present and she should not be the one to add points.

She looked at Snape aside. Snape nodded slightly at her, indicating that she was free to do so, and then Professor McGonagall continued.

"Fifteen points for Slytherin."

While Professor McGonagall and Snape were making eye contact, Harry, whose eyes were wandering around, accidentally saw Snape's bleeding leg.

Suddenly, his eyes widened and he looked at Snape warily and suspiciously.

Noticing his gaze, Snape raised his black robe to cover the wound and gave him a sharp look.

Unexpectedly, Artes, who also noticed Harry's expression, turned sideways to block Harry's view.

Then Snape's eyes struck Arthur accurately.

This surprise made both of them stunned at the same time.

Professor McGonagall was beside the troll, observing it carefully, and then turned to the little wizards.

"It's time for you to go back to your respective lounges. You don't know when the troll will wake up."

Aces came to his senses and looked away.

"If he just wakes up, the troll will not pose a threat. He still has my alchemy tools tied to him."

"Just leave this prop on the troll. The professors will just watch and deal with it. Can I leave first? My friends are still waiting for me."

Professor McGonagall already liked Arthas very much, but now that he has saved the students of her college many times, she likes him even more.

Seeing that Asseth wanted to leave, she agreed without hesitation.

Artes politely nodded goodbye to Professor McGonagall.

But he did not leave immediately, but looked at Snape.

When Snape nodded slightly, Artes left the bathroom.

Professor McGonagall coveted students as polite, talented and powerful as Asseth.

She didn't know how many times she felt regretful in her heart that Artes was not a Gryffindor student.

Seeing the envious look in Professor McGonagall's eyes, Snape felt subtly happy.

See, how can the stupid lion of Gryffindor compare to Slytherin.

Snape glanced at Harry with disdain. Now he was in a good mood and didn't want to say anything more to this annoying Potter.

He hummed softly, said goodbye to Professor McGonagall, and left the bathroom.

Snape limped back to the dungeons, slowing down at the first corner.

As expected, Ases' figure gradually appeared around the corner.

From a distance, the two looked at each other.

Aces was the first to look away and look at Snape's injured foot, his tone unconsciously filled with worry.

"Professor, why are you injured?"

"Obviously the length of the robe is enough to block the calf attack."

Snape really didn't want to say that he was injured because of a stupid reason like habitually waving his robe, so he crossed his hands and looked at Artes silently with his dark eyes.

Seeing his refusal to communicate, Asseth knew that he would not get the result of his question.

There was no other way, so Asseth could only step forward and support Snape.

Maybe it did affect his walking a little, but Snape didn't refuse Arthur's support, but instead put most of his weight on him.

Fortunately, Artes was not much shorter than Snape at this time, so he could support his weight.

Artes held Snape steady, and the two returned to the cold cellar together.

As soon as he returned to the ground, Snape shook off Arthur's hand and sat on the sofa.

He sat for a while and found that Ass was still standing in the cellar. He raised his chin impatiently and chased him away silently.
