After Hassan settled the paintings, he left the museum. He had to stay in the small town of Chefchaouen for five days. He had many arrangements and could not stay here for too long.

But the moment he stepped out of the museum, he seemed to have missed something, and there was a trace of sadness in his heart.

The next morning, his car passed by Blue Street and he looked at the scenery on the street aimlessly.

Suddenly a figure came into view.

The crystal boy was sitting on a slope with his head lowered, surrounded by seven or eight cats. The boy was breaking the bread in his hand into small pieces and feeding the kittens around him.

The picture was so beautiful and warm that Hassan couldn't help but curl up his lips.

The scene flashed by, and the young man was soon out of sight.

Hassan looked back with regret. He was very busy today, otherwise feeding the cats would be a good leisure time in this warm weather.

Cats are a characteristic of the small town of Chefchaouen. Cute cats of different shapes can be seen everywhere in the alleys, and they have become the guardians of this mountain town.

They live leisurely in this blue territory. They seem to be everywhere on the steps, by the window sill, in the stacks of books, by the fish stall, in front of the studio door, and next to the trash can.

After a busy day, Hassan leaned on the back seat of the car tiredly and drove towards his residence.

As he was about to pass the steps where he saw the crystal boy today, Hassan suddenly remembered something and said to the driver:

"Drive slowly."

The driver slowed down obediently, and Hassan couldn't help but laugh a little.

Five or six hours have passed and the boy has already left.

But he still turned his attention to the steps, and his eyes widened.

The boy was still there, holding a black and white kitten in his arms. The cat licked his fingers tenderly, and the boy's eyes were full of tenderness.

Seven or eight cats were also clinging to him.

Hassan immediately shouted to the driver:

"parking!"

The driver thought there was an emergency and braked. Hassan almost hit the back of the seat in front of him.

"Find a place to pull over and I'll go out for a while."

Hassan got out of the car and walked towards the boy. The dim light of the setting sun was very warm and shone on the boy's back, giving him a hazy outline, like a holy treasure.

Hassan found that the bodyguard beside the boy was missing and he was alone.

Hassan was a little angry for no reason. How could someone as fragile as crystal be left unprotected?

But I felt that I was angry for no reason.

A shadow fell in front of him. The young man looked up and saw a tall figure standing in front of him. He couldn't help but be a little stunned and looked at Hassan without saying anything.

Hassan sat on the steps next to him, touched the cat sleeping on the ground next to the boy, and looked at him with a smile.

"You're quite content, but why have you been here for so long? Aren't you hungry?"

The young man rubbed his belly and looked at him with a pair of cat eyes.

"The cat ate the bread. He's a little hungry."

Hassan looked at his round eyes and wanted to rub his head. He felt that the touch must be better than the cat in his hand.

But of course he wasn't really that presumptuous. He turned his head and looked around.

"Where is your bodyguard? Why don't you go to dinner?"

The boy lowered his head.

"They left me on a very messy street. They probably won't come looking for me. I can't find a home."

A flash of fierceness flashed in Hassan's eyes. There were too many dark things in the world, but they shouldn't happen to this crystal boy.

"Eat first, and then I'll take you home, okay? Do you have anyone you trust?"

The young man looked at him seriously, his eyes pure.

"Lan Zhou, my name is Lan Zhou."

Hassan was startled, then smiled, as gentle and warm as the warm sunshine on the first day.

"My name is Hassan."

Lan Zhou looked over Hassan's head.

"Can you take me to Chinese food?"

"of course can."

Hassan was in an inexplicable mood and stood up and stretched out his hand to Lan Zhou.

Lan Zhou looked up at him, seemed to hesitate for a moment, carefully placed the cat in his arms on the ground, then put his hand in Hassan's and followed his strength to stand up.

Hassan felt the coldness of jade in his palm, which was refreshing.

Lan Zhou stood up, and Hassan retracted his hand politely.

Hassan also likes Chinese food very much, and happened to know a Chinese private restaurant nearby. The taste is very authentic, and it is built in the middle of the mountain with very beautiful scenery.

The restaurant is all in Chinese style. Among the pavilions and waterside pavilions, the two of them sat down in a small pavilion.

Hassan handed the menu to Lan Zhou. Lan Zhou ordered a few dishes, all of which were sweet and sour, and then put down the menu.

Hassan added a few more of the specialty dishes here, and the waiter took note of them and left.

Lan Zhou's back was straight and his table manners were impeccable. Even Hassan, who was raised as a crown prince, was no less generous.

The two finished their meal quietly and elegantly, and Lan Zhou wiped the corners of his mouth with a napkin.

Hassan asked: "Have you finished eating? Do you need anything else?"

"Eat, thank you, can I go see the fish?"

Hassan smiled, "Of course."

After hearing this, Lan Zhou showed a hint of joy on his face. He stood up and walked to the railing. He took a few fish food from the small fish food box next to him and threw them into the pond.

Next to it is a small pond with a few koi swimming among the lotus leaves.

The fishes came out of the water to peck at them one after another. Lan Zhou's eyebrows were curved and he showed a slight smile.

He is looking at the scenery here, but he doesn't know that in the eyes of others, he is the most beautiful scenery.

Hassan still felt that the person in front of him was like a dream, a little unreal. After a long time, it was getting late.

"Lan Zhou, do you have anyone you can trust? Can I take you home?"

The smile on Lan Zhou's face faded, and he looked back at Hassan. His voice had a hint of a child's willfulness, but it was by no means excessive.

"I don't want to go back."

Hassan approached him, looked into his crystal eyes, and asked softly:

"Someone is bullying you? Do you want to tell me? Maybe I can help you."

Lan Zhou hesitated for a moment, but did not answer the question.

"Can I stay with you?"

Hassan frowned slightly, it wasn't that he was unwilling to take Lan Zhou in, but he was very willing.

But if Lan Zhou is so repelled to go home, it must be because there is something or someone at home that he doesn't like, which makes Hassan feel very uncomfortable no matter what.
